Days Inn by Wyndham West Memphis

The people working there were very nice and helpful from the desk clerks to the housekeeping staff. Restaurant was pretty good. Parking lot has a lot of pot holes. The sink needs fixing, low water pressure in the shower. The rest of the room was just fine. New paint, bed was comfy, AC worked good. Linens clean and in good shape. Fridge and microwave and coffee maker worked great. I enjoyed my stay. Also, they had placed me upstairs but I could not climb stairs so they moved me to a double bed room for the same price. That was very much appreciated.

Outside of room was a little concerning. It wasn't enough lights to walk to the door and the stairs were wobbly (at least two). The inside was clean and stocked.

No elevator, I have extreme difficulty climbing stairs after MUCH PROMPTING. Your receptionist found a downstairs room that was difficult to get to, smelled bad and has a leaking sink. The dirctory on the room phone has not been updated since forever. I had to call 411 get the front desk.

The overall conditions of this hotel are deplorable. The stairway to the second floor was so rusty and substantial weight will bring it crashing down. The walkways were badly in need of cleaning/painting and dirty throughout the property. The chair in the room was filthy and worn beyond its expiration date.

Poor air conditioning, pool was closed, could see through the bathroom vent into the next room.

Bathtub was moldy and ceiling was peeling off. Paid extra for a hotel with swimming pool but the pool is never open. Worst breakfast EVER!!! False advertising and food hardly worth eating so the extra cost to stay there was not worth it

Room dirty, wouldn't let us see the room before paying, made it seem like a favor to give a non smoking room. Pool a mess and locked. Smells bad. .

Tired property, room floor was greasy/dirty as well as bathroom door had a spill on it. We slept okay and breakfast by 8pm was picked over and nothing was being refilled. There was no syrup left for the waffles and the orange juice was extremely watered down. The parking lot is rather dark and the area is not the best neighbourhood. We got a great deal so for what we paid the room was sufficient.

Great room and very comfortable bed! Exterior could use a bit of an upgrade. Overall, great value for the price!

Just staying overnight. Inside of the room was decent and clean. The property itself looks messy. The ice machines didn’t work. The staff did not dress professionally. I was in a non smoking room but could smell the smoke coming from the room while I was in my room. Free breakfast is not anything nice.

The bed itself was clean and fine. The room, however, was utterly filthy, strangely moist, and was leaking water from the ceiling where mold was obviously accumulating. The floors felt like they'd never been scrubbed once in their life and left a thick residue on your feet. Left that place with a strange cough.

The first room had mold in the bathroom. The second room had standing water in the bathroom. The third room was ok to stay in

We always stay in this Days Inn, the staff is always so friendly, good breakfast, only thing is the floor in the rooms are nasty, needs to be mopped alot better, turns my feet if I go barefooted black!!

Cockroaches in the room, and it smelled like cigarette smoke, I left with it in my hair and clothes. How shower, good water pressure, looked mostly clean. Gaps under the door that could easily let bugs in. I would not stay here again unless I was truly broke or desperate.

Floors were absolutely filthy and woke up to roaches.

Our room had moldy caulk in the tub area and the floors were dirty. There was a man outside our door yelling on his cellphone.

Overall cleanliness was terrible. The floors in the room leave the bottom of your feet or socks black

Very poor shape ceiling in room failing nasty dirty room had roaches keys didnt work bed covers had not been cleaned had dried something on them praling paint furniture has spilt drinks not cleaned floor was not swept or moped bath tub and toilet wer nasty dirty. Loby was nasty and public bathroom was disgusting and not been clenaed in a while and oder was horable

Terrible. We were not expecting anything fancy, but we expected it to be modern and clean. It was neither. Room was in poor condition with wires hanging out from under the TV and other electronics. Outlets were torn up and exposed. Windows were caked with grime. Furniture was old and worn. Bed at least had new clean looking sheets and a wafer thin blanket. The doors to the rooms next to you have gaps at the bottom so you can hear the regular conversations of the people in the rooms next to you. Stay away. Did not feel especially safe.

Very small breakfast selection. Room had wet looking ceiling. Musty cigarette smells coming from bathroom vent and lots of flies.

A couple of lamps in the Room didn't work, and I could literally hear the entire conversations of my neighbors in the next Room, although I was trying to AND they were speaking in a regular tone..

Need to update their rooms

The floor in the room was sticky everywhere. The room smelled bad like spray covering up smoke. The ac unit was so loud with a high pitched noise we had to wear earplugs. The ac also kept the room very damp. Even the sheets were damp to sleep on. Front lobby very tired looking. Continental breakfast was sad. Plain breads, plain bagels, very low budget. Won’t stay here ever.

We stayed here just for an overnight halt, and it serves the purpose if you only need a place to sleep. Keep your expectations modest — the furniture was of average quality, with the chair’s Rexine almost completely worn out. Upon entering the room, our first “welcome” came from a swarm of mosquitoes. Our room was on the second floor, but the staircase leading up was in poor condition. The wash area was relatively better than the rest of the room, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. Breakfast, however, was disappointing — no regular bread, no fruits, and overall below-average offerings.

I guess this is right on point for the price but the higher rating made me think it would be a little better than this. The staff was really nice, she had a huge smile and super helpful. The rooms are lame. It’s noisy. The walls are thin. It doesn’t feel super clean. There’s quite a few people hanging around outside at night. I’m a woman in my 30’s and I wish I had a better report for other lady travelers. Keep looking or go up in price if you can for this area. It’s just not that safe a part of town.

When we pulled in the front of hotel was nice well kept. Got up to our room and it was a different story! Walked in an it smelled like smoke so bad. The door just had a chain for lock, and there was a gap under door where you could see daylight. As I did walk through it was just dirty and in the bathroom the paint on ceiling was peeling. The fan looked like it was there from the 60’s. It did have good air conditioning, but it was a very uneasy night. Just didn’t feel real safe. The smell of smoke was outrageous and it lingered all night. The staff was friendly.

Area is undesirable. Chain lock on door broken. Door sweep missing so gap under door exposing outside. Rained outside so the floor was sweating creating a slip and fall hazard. Ground floor room that you could see inside around the curtains. Bathroom baseboards appeared rotted.

The front desk lady wasn’t so pleasant. She has an attitude while checking me in. And then I called asked about an ash tray for my smoking room and she said they must have taken it and that there wasn’t any extra ash trays. Very rudely. And there wasn’t any sausage gravy for the biscuits for breakfast. But other than that my stay was fine. I do plan on returning again.

The property is ok but a staff member was extremely rude and irate toward for husband. We went to the hotel in the first place for my birthday and it was ok until the last day. My husband’s brother and cousin stopped by since he was in town for a funeral and because it was around breakfast time, my husband invited them to get breakfast with him. My husband was getting something to eat for me since I’m a disabled veteran and it’s hard to get around sometimes. This deranged staff member was extremely rude to them and literally tried to snatch the plate from my husband’s hands while yelling at them saying they weren’t staying there even after my husband gave her my name and our room number too!! She also accused us of having 5 people staying in our room with us which is ludicrous to say the least. How absurd! She literally lied and she knows it. I called to straighten it out with her since it was obviously a misunderstanding and she yelled at me and then hung up on me!!! This staff member threatened to call police on us and lied to other staff members too all bc when she rushed up on my husband to snatch my breakfast plate from him im a very threatening manner, he told her to back off and that he’d smack her bc he has severe PTSD and felt physically threatened by this woman. I will never be coming back as long as she is there. This is unacceptable considering I just paid them hundreds of dollars and she literally ruined my birthday with her drama seeking ways. So rude.

Even though my stay started off with me in a bad mood the clerk at the desk who gave me my keys made me realize that I was wrong for my attitude with her which it was and she was very professional and made my check in better and I appreciate her for that!

The fat white lady at the front desk does not like black men. I stay at this hotel at least 4 to 5 times a month for work over the last 3-5 months. I’m a black man not a racist but this lady has no hospitality. I greet her every time and she does say anything. She has an attitude if you ask any questions. I think she is a manager she puts me on the side of the casino. There were roaches in every room on that side. They had to move me and my wife it was unbearable. Just because you have had bad experiences with black people don’t give you the right to be a nasty and rude person.

Lock your cars. Took pet out to go to restroom and 2 people in sweatshirts with hoods on were going car to car checking doors. They took off when I opened door. Be safe.

The price is quite low and affordable, that's a big plus. The rooms are ok, there is breakfast but not a fancy one (still better than nothing). The biggest issue is the location. It is in West Memphis, and when trying to call an Uber (it's 10-15 minutes ride to downtown), the cars simply don't come to West Memphis. Getting an Uber from downtown to West Memphis works, but calling an Uber from West Memphis is a big problem (at least we didn't succeed and had to call a local taxi every time). Consider that when you plan your stay.

Our trip to West Memphis was just an overnight trip. The location of this Days Inn was literally right across the street from Southland Casino. We had never been to that particular casino. There is a Mexican restaurant next to this motel. We ate lunch at the casino and had a late dinner at the Mexican restaurant. Afterwards, when we were walking back to our room, we got to see the Fourth of July fireworks show that the city put on. Overall, we had a wonderful trip!

The hotel is old and appears run-down. There were people around the pool smoking weed. The area felt unsafe.

The motel was about a 3 minute drive to Southland casino and half the price of their hotel. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable, good AC unit. Im always a little cautious about being in an outside ground floor room. I never saw anyone hanging around the parking lot. No peolpe making noise at night. I would definitely stay here again and feel perfectly safe. Not a lot of choices at breakfast but enough to fill you up.

Breakfast was below average. Opened at 5 am and I came at 5:45 am. They were out of all hot items. No staff around. Left 15 minutes later with little eating. Still no staff in kitchen area.

Property needs to be updated all the door are sticky breakfast is atrocious and bed base is worse than homeless camp standards

Check in was quick, front desk staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean, wood floors (which I love in a hotel), beds comfortable, and overall quiet. Walking to casino, driving to restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good - biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, etc. I would have rated excellent but had two non smoking rooms and one was great but the other definitely had a strong marijuana odor. Front desk did provide febreeze but it didn’t help much. I did make desk aware at checkout and she said they would fog. Hotel was full so they couldn’t switch me. Overall a good stay and very affordable when booking two rooms. Would stay again.

My room had that old musty smell to it. Left over packaged juice in the refrigerator and a bar of soap in the toilet bowl which almost overflowed when flush until I removed it. Free breakfast was very limited. No eggs or bacon or sausage. Biscuits and gravy and just a few other items.

I think the cleanliness could be improved. The breakfast was average. The check in and check out process was fast. The price was good for a quick sleep for one night while passing through.
