Hotel offers yoga every morning 8am, 24/7 fitness center, movie night every Friday 6pm, captions provided along with headphones (may or may not work). There are fireplaces, ample comfortable seating, chess, backgammon, the atmosphere is amazing, free bikes from sunrise to sunset, hammocks, tree swing, patio seating, shuttle from 7am-9:45pm within 3 miles. The rooms are very small but beautiful. They could make some improvements that I shared, also they need a better shampoo (it stinks) the conditioner and lotion smell the same and great; citrusy. Oh yea, there's complimentary iced tea (& iced water) when you arrive, a fireplace; just absolutely beautiful AND a DJ Friday nights from 6-10pm. There are a ton of meeting rooms. The staff are so professional and courteous., Tony, security, smells good, he wears Brut 33 & Polo. He wears the Brutt cuz his dad wears it, he's 88. I really hope to hear from the GM, cuz I provided a lot of necessary feedback for safety and improvements.

This is an older property that is well kept. Pool area is clean and relaxing. Work out facility is well stocked with free weights, 2 treadmills, 2 pelotons, universal machine. Rooms are spacious and updated

What an incredible resort in Scottsdale. Centeally located and staff goes above and beyond. The ambience is next level, and the security is great! Not to mention the shuttles within a 3 mile radius. With two pools one with a beach entrance with actual sand. The cocktails by the one and only Anna! Scott, Mark, and Jason at the front in valet were incredible! Thank you all for an incredible stay during a difficult time for our family!

Overall I thought it was a really nice property and well maintained. However, service in general wasn’t present. Wait time at the bar , at any time of the day, was 15-20 min. There was no service at the pool, and pool bar was closed for the season. No real staff presence. There was just a general lack of hospitality.

The Scott is ideally located just minutes walking distance from Old Town Scottsdale and features amenities you’d expect from a Resort. The pools are spacious and outlined with gorgeous mature palm trees which provide a nice cover for the endless sunny days. There is even a beach area in the pool. There are multiple seating areas for dining or just chatting with great seating and fireplaces. From the second you step into the resort, you will be greeted by lovely spa scents and the lobby (with its grand feel) will not disappoint! In summary, it’s a great location with nice staff and a 56 Chev Belair ready to take you anywhere!

We had a fabulous vacation with The Scott as our home base. Would highly recommend staying here - it's beautifully designed & decorated. Amenities that we enjoyed included the pool area, gym, various chill seating areas to relax, a little faux-grassy area with big-connect-4 & corn hole, ice-water ice-tea in the lobby 24/7, easy parking, and a convenient shuttle that's first-come-first-serve driven by friendly bell-staff! Would like for the pool to be a bit more chlorinated given the activities surrounding - but really enjoyed the facilities nonetheless! The staff was very helpful throughout our time there so worth a shout out. The location is amazingly convenient to Old Town Scottsdale! The shuttle service will drop you there if you can catch them - location is a great amenity! Highly recommend

Very nice hotel. Has a mix of a vegas/Palm Springs vibe. Kid friendly. Cute bar and restaurant on site. Two pools with one of them having a little sandy beach area. Able to check into our room 90 min early and easy checkout process. Very close to old town Scottsdale and the mall. They have bikes you can ride for free too.

I was misinformed by the front desk multiple times. I was charged for early check in for a room that had no running water, but they did not tell me there was no running water until they took payment for the room. They refused to return the early check in fee, despite providing a room without running water. During check in, they tried to charge $200 instead of a $100 resort fee, which I had to point out to the staff. The wifi is $15 per day, which is not disclosed until after check-in. The room was mediocre… the towel rack was hanging out of the wall, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and there was green limescale covering the grout in the bathroom. The bed was soft (bad mattress). Most disappointing was the staff, who were rude and unreasonable (mind the request to return the $30 check-in fee after learning the room would have no running water). If you’re going to spend this type of money on a hotel, I would spend some time to find something better. The hot chocolate was good, and so was the ambience in the lobby.

Great place to stay. Clean, friendly, helpful staff. Pool was terrible. All kinds of leaves and things on the pool. Every where we went the leaves would follow us. I realize the leaves fall from the trees but my own yard dosn't have that many because we pick them up. They need to invest in leaf blowers/vacuum or pool nets. If there was a pool net nearby I would have done it myself.

Good and bad. The valet never came out to the car he was on his phone until I went and retrieved him. The B building hallway smells musty and mildew, the shower in my room had mold in lots of area's, the lighting in the bathroom for getting ready is very dim. The pool/bar area is very nice inside and outside and the bartender was very good and pleasant. Prices is good and reasonable for food and beverages.

The report was really wonderful. The location was walkable to shopping and dining. The rooms were very nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The only negative was that the jacuzzi was dirty. Like pretty disgusting…..mold was all over the tiles and when you lean back it got all over you. Other than that we had a great stay.

Slept one night in (very) dirty sheets unbeknownst to me due to the darkness in the room, only evident once the sun was out. I am still rather upset about that, apparently sleeping in someone else's mess is only good for one night's resort fees to The Scott.

When we first arrived we waited nearly 30 minutes to check in even after we had checked in online through the text messages the hotel sent us. The room aesthetic was beautiful in the photos but grungy and worn in real life. The room was clean but there were areas of the room that look like they hadn’t been wiped down like the doors, walls and cabinets. The following morning we were told by staff that breakfast couldn’t be served to us because they don’t open until 8 when it was advertised 7am. We had yogurt parfait from the bar $16 each. Also we couldn’t even get into the pool or jacuzzi because they were dirty with leaves and bugs.

We had a wonderful trip. However, the room corridor was always dirty with food crumbs and room service trays. The same tray was in the hallway for over 24 hours. We did not get housekeeping one day at all even though they were in our hallway the entire day. Housekeeping in general arrived very late in the day with a reminder to check our room. The staff was very friendly.

Truly a beautiful resort. Friendly staff and a great place to relax and hang by the pool. I do want to mention that the Internet connection is awful. If you need to work while you’re there, you certainly won’t be able to do so from your room. I was there four days and wasn’t able to get internet in my room once. I called to see if there was a solution and was sent to a separate IT number - which was very unhelpful. Like I said, amazing place if you’re fully shutting off from work and the outside world - but if you need to access email or vpn for work - this might not be the place.

The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, and the restaurant food was delicious. Our room was beautiful very spacious and amenities were lovely. The staff was helpful, courteous and on point.

Beautiful, cuban-themed resort and spa located within blocks from a premium shopping mall and just a few miles from The Phoenix Zoo. The rooms have dim lighting but are moderate in size with gorgeous bathrobes, a spacious closet, comfortable beds and a large balcony. I recommend booking a courtyard view room which overlooks a stunning oasis with a pool, lagoon, firepits, hammocks, yoga and game area, etc. There are no elevators at the property but the bell staff can assist you with getting your luggage to your room. Most guests were dressed daytime chic in linen sets, maxi dresses, rompers, etc. This resort and spa is a great value for a relaxing retreat.

Property grounds were great! Simply beautiful! It seems like it’s a converted motel so the rooms are nice but you can tell it’s older and was once very cheap. Make sure you take a room with garden or pool view. I had one on the street side and the trucks and traffic kept me up all night.

Cute hotel! It was very clean and beautiful. However, I had difficulty sleeping as it felt like the room had poor air circulation. I had to get up in the middle of the night to crank the AC down to 63F. I felt little relief. Also had no other amenities/ for getting water aside from purchasing the bottles in the room.

Was reallly dissapointed in restaurant staff. We were really excited to try the food at the canal club but we waited 30 minutes with no one coming to ask us about drink orders or even say it would be a few minutes and then when we finally got someone’s attention the guys yelled at us so we just stood up and left because we felt like we were purposefully being ignored for no reason at all. Loved the resort but would not return just for that reason.

My sister and I had a great stay at The Scott Resort. The check in process was seamless and the staff was very friendly throughout our entire stay. We had trouble with our TV and they sent an engineer up to our room to personally attend to it within 30 minutes. Overall had a very pleasant time and would love to stay at this hotel again.

Front desk lady Katie was absolutely horrible, she was rude and would not offer any help. What we didn’t know is check in time is 4pm, “guaranteed time that the room will be ready”, phrase I was told over and over by Katie with no guidance. We had reservations at 4pm, asked if our room wasn’t ready where could I change and get ready for our reservation. She kept saying 4pm, no “help”. At 2:40 I asked if we could call housekeeping to see when we might have an estimated timeframe, again same words 4pm, I told her I’m in a panic about out reservations. She snapped at me said, I’m texting you a room now. Would we have had to wait until 4pm if I didn’t ask again. I was willing to pay a fee to check in early or upgrade anything. Because of Katie I will stay somewhere else in the future, she’s your 1st impression and it was awful.

I had a really nice stay overall, and the hotel itself is beautiful with a prime location. The rooms were very comfortable and well-appointed. However, I was genuinely surprised by the lack of hospitality from much of the staff. Aside from a few standouts—Braelyne, Taylor, and Alexa, who were absolutely amazing—the rest of the team seemed disengaged and, at times, inconvenienced to assist me and my friends. It was an odd experience, especially given the price point. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected consistent, warm service across the board. Sadly, I wouldn’t return because of this. I’d highly recommend the staff read Irresistible Hospitality—it could make all the difference.

They had 1 person working the check in desk at 4PM check in time. A line we stayed in for an hour before anyone came to help the girl working by herself. 3:45 room was ready was in line still 4:52. The only good thing about this hotel is the lobby and lobby bar. The pool area for closed on us for an event. It’s also outdated. The rooms buildings of the rooms are outdated and the rooms bathrooms weren’t great pretty run down. Would not stay again if I’m being honest.

The property is cute, room was spacious and the bed was comfy. I usually don’t complain but the service here was very lacking - we left the restaurant one morning after being seated (with a reservation) and waiting for 25 minutes with no one acknowledging us. I know several staff saw us too. Same thing next day in the lobby bar - waited 30 min for someone to check on us and another 25 minutes before getting our two drinks when it was barely busy. Pool servers stood at the bar talking to each other and didn’t check on guests. The overall stay was nice and we enjoyed the pool and location but unfortunately I don’t think we’d stay here again based on consistently bad service.

The cleaning supervisor walked into my room without knocking once I checked into my room. I called the front desk immediately and they had assured me the room was marked clean serveral times. The security manager came half an hour later to let me know it was the cleaning staff and proceeded to gas light me into feeling it was my fault for not putting the privacy sign on. I truly do not understand how that would have mattered if it was marked clean. Needless to say, I would never recommend this location for anyone going for a solo vacation.

We’ve been first time in 2021 and we liked the vibe of the hotel. It’s beautiful, cozy and aesthetic! This time we were passing by Scottsdale on our way to California, and decided last minute to stay two nights in. We enjoyed so much the pool, jacuzzi and also they have the best bed we’ve ever slept, like a real cloud!

Everything was excellent except the restaurant. Terrible. Slow. Eat somewhere else. We tried 2 breakfasts, lunch and 2 dinners. Dinners were the worst by far. Over an hour to get simple foods like salads and burgers. The grounds are divine. The spa is a dream. The rooms are lovely! Would stay here again without question

The staff was really helpful. We stayed 3 nights but in 1 night increments. I messed up my Expedia reservation and they were incredibly patient and helpful (Expedia customer service as well). Some of the finishes needed restoration, but they were natural wood and not laminate, so that is understandable. The design of the room was really charming and such a welcome change from the cookie cutter W-hotel look that is so prevalent. The private patio on the first floor was so lovely. Even when it was 100 degrees, the patio was shaded and cool enough to enjoy. Housekeeping does a great job keeping everything clean and stocked. Our breakfasts were abundant and enjoyable. The dinner at the restaurant was fun and the service was excellent. The only slightly negative comment was about the spa. I walked in and the host completely ignored me as she talked on the phone for 5-10 minutes while I waited. I walked out because the heat had me feeling grouchy about that.

It was beautiful! We loved the pool and just the overall ambience of the hotel. The lobby is both lively and serene and the rooms are perfect! We had a 1st floor room and loved sitting out on our patio, there were humming birds! We took advantage of eating poolside, room service, in the restaurant and in the lobby. The food was all great!

Really beautiful establishment! Beautiful atmosphere. Amazing 2 sided fireplace at front entrance and in lounge area. Great bar! Great heated pool and hot tub. Really prompt shuttle service! The restaurant food was great.
