Half of advertised amenities not available. No airport shuttle, the limited local courtesy shuttle apparently was in an accident and that service wasn’t available. I had to take $200 worth of Uber rides since I had a full schedule attending a conference and couldn’t go back to the airport to rent a car. One of the pools was closed and lots of construction starting quite early in the morning. Charging the extra “amenities” fee is a joke when more than half the amenities advertised aren’t available. The quality of the place was nothing to write home about. Given it’s a Hilton branded place I expected better - definitely going to try and avoid any Hilton properties when possible in the future. Manager excuses for the false advertising of amenities were weak.

Rooms were decent and spacious. Rooms should have a deeper clean than what they have now. Found an old package of bologna in the freezer! YUCK!! Pool was too warm even at night. Breakfast was delicious! The fitness center was one of the best I have ever seen! Happy hour was a nice touch especially for the kids.

We have stayed here before which is why we chose to stay again. We were very disappointed. We arrived and found out one pool was under construction which was not mentioned on the embassy website. The other pool was open but as mentioned by the front desk had no air regulators that worked so was 90 degrees. We were very frustrated as we planned for a pool day during our 2 night trip. We had to cancel the pool day because with 115 degree weather a 90 degree pool was insanely warm. If we had know about the construction we would not have chosen this resort. The resort fee should not have been charged as there are amenities we cant utilize. Very frustrating experience, not sure i woukd go back.

The hotel was advertised as having an EV charger but it didn’t and the front staff had this comment multiple times. I choose this hotel for the charger that didn’t exist. Very disappointed.

The rooms are great. The hotel looks very old, outdated and dingy. No jacuzzi in the first main hotel building. Our elevator closest to our room was out of service. The hotel needs a MUCH BETTER BAR, bartenders that actually know how to make drinks, better food/restaurants. Not good for hotel guests to say the least! we had to order pizza for delivery and make our own drinks in our room. Awful awful awful

We had a few small issues initially that were taken care of. For 3 days there was no hot water, barely warm. Our main complaint was the carpet in the room. It was so dirty that bare feet were black, sox were black. It was disgusting. The safe never did work even though they said it was fixed. On the plus side, beds were great! Comfy mattress and pillows. Food was great and pool areas were great. The on site restaurant was closed. That wasn’t on the website unless we missed it.

I have neurophy on my feet. I don't wear socks and shoes much. on the 2nd. mid-day my wife noted my feet were blackened on the bottom's. the 3rd. day I wore socks. the next day my socks were pure black. then I realized the carpeting was very, very dirty. from then on I wore my shoes. when checking out, I showed the manager them. he was very sorry and knocked off the resort fee. we have stayed there dozen's of times over the last 15 years. well go again but request a clean floor.

The service was great, no complaints at all. The place is dated but the price is excellent, however the elevator wasn't working near my room so it was the stairs the first day but it was fixed eventually. The room was tidy but underneath the bathroom sink there was used toothpicks and hair in the tub. The AC was awful and made the room stuffy but again the house keeping was prompt and the front desk were professional.

Great property. The amenities were wonderful and the location was very accessible. The breakfast buffet was also delicious and even had a few vegan friendly options for my sisters; however, I wish there were more vegan options that can be included in future menu. The suite was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The carpet was a bit dirty and our feet were blackened after a few minutes of walking on it, so we would appreciate if the carpets were cleaned or shampooed more regularly, especially for families like ours travelling with younger children who like to play on the carpet

The AC was out and the temp was over 100 those days, the bathroom door was broken and we had to move rooms at 2am because our room had roaches. The restaurant food in the club was very nasty and it made me sick. The hospitality was great and the pools were cleaner than the rooms.

Overall I’m not sure we would come back—we were given a room that looked like mold was growing in the shower. The carpet turned my poor baby’s feet black. We asked to move to a different room. It was much better but the carpet was just as dirty and the toilet leaked. The pool areas are clean and everyone who works at the hotel was very nice. If the rooms were cleaner, we would stay here again.

Our room was clean and staff was pleasant. Two of the four elevators were out of service. Our air conditioning unit was very loud and made a howling noise when the compressor turned on. The general impression of the facility was that it was somewhat used. Probably a really nice place 20 years ago. Breakfast was a disappointment. Actually never tried the breakfast, couldn't get past the dreadful, machine-processed, weak coffee. Opted for a chicken sandwich at the bar one evening. It was either frozen and microwaved or deep fried in cold grease. Not edible however it was prepared.

Rooms are a little dated but the grounds, staff and overall feel of the hotel make up for the rooms. Location is great, easy access to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast and Happy Hour that are included were a pleasant surprise. Will absolutely stay again!

the pull-out bed mattress (like sleeping directly on springs) as well as the roll a way mattress (so thin you could feel the wire frame) were extremely uncomfortable. And the air conditioning did not work properly. Our room would not go below 74, most of the time it was 76, which in 115 heat was miserable. None of us slept well the 4 nights we were there. I will say however the staff was amazing, there was only so much they could do.

Miss the old Embassy Suites. Did not like the new renovations. They took out the extra sink in the bedroom which was VERY helpful when you have more than 1 person in the room. They took out the nice large round table that was needed for families and replaced it with a very small desk. Bar was completely removed, much needed to place items on it.

We booked the One Bedroom King Suite with a soaker tub. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed incredibly comfortable—some of the best sleep I've had in a while. The property, built in the 1980s, has charming character with fountains, greenery, and a helpful 24-hour pantry. Parking was easy, and we appreciated the fridge and wet bar. The pool area was relaxing with comfy loungers. That said, the age of the property does show. Elevator upgrades are underway, but several in our wing were still out of service, causing long walks. Our soaker tub was missing a plug, which took maintenance two hours to resolve. A/C was weak and inconsistent—wouldn’t want to stay in summer. Lighting was overly complicated, and some switches disabled outlets, so my phone didn’t charge overnight. Only one ice machine on our floor, far from our room. Breakfast buffet was hot and tasty, but the door attendant was unfriendly. Disappointed the 4th floor restaurant was closed despite being listed online—Azul Clubhouse lacked atmosphere. Evening "happy hour receiption "drinks were terrible, and one server ignored us completely, though another kindly stepped in. The dinner food was delicious and enjoyed it thoroughly Despite the issues, it’s a comfortable stay with potential. With stronger attention to detail and service, this property could really shine. I hope that things are tightened up and the true potential comes in.

Great place, we loved our stay in the hotel. Great location, short walk to downtown Scottsdale (transit options available), awesome pools, spacious rooms. The only thing about the room was that the drawers for clothes were not closing, they’d always open on their own. Everything else was wonderful!

The people that work at this resort are the most genuine, kind people that you can find. Everyone treats you so well. Stephanie at the evening reception did a wonderful job and she was so nice to chat with and we enjoyed the drinks that she made for us. The front desk staff was professional and kind, both morning and night staff. We are definitely returning here for another staycation.

We decided to book another night instead of our next destination just because of how awesome and friendly the staff is here. The front desk made it easy for us to stay in the same room that we had before, and Stephanie at the bar remembered us! We were also greeted by this really nice lady during breakfast making sure our stay was going well.

The morning I checked out I had an Uber scheduled. The checkout clerk, David, advised me that I did not need Uber , as they had a driver. The driver informed me, as we were approching the terminal, that I owed him $40, as he was NOT a hotel shuttle driver....but, rather, an independent contractor. Total scam, obviously, but the hotel desk clerk, David, was clearly a part of it. Never again.

Staff was very helpful with things for the room, directions, etc. The full breakfast had a made to order omelet/egg station as well as a huge Buffett selection including an oatmeal bar, large variety of fresh fruits both cut up and whole, cereal station,muffins, bagels, bread, hot pancakes or French toast, bacon, sausage, crispy potatoes and lots of drinks variety. The evening snacks were beyond what I expected. Variety of cheeses, crackers, fresh veggie trays, two drinks per person (with alcohol) soda, etc. we arrived very tired and didn’t want to go out and that was a nice supply. We found out that they do have a restaurant on site as well. The breakfast and afternoon were free which really is a great money savings. They also give you two bottles of water free per day. Loved the built in bottles of bathroom products body wash, shampoo and condition, lotion by the sink. No liquid soap by the sink only negative. They did include a small bar of hand soap. Wardrobe even had robes, although we didn’t use those. Two very spacious rooms with a TV in each. The kitchenette had a refrigerator ( didn’t have a freezer but there was a block of frozen ice in the back, fridge wasn’t very cold and I didn’t see a way to turn it up. Might have been encased in ice. Should have asked to fix Pizza left from last guests inside . I like to bring freezer packs and refreeze every night so as to keep leftovers and drinks on ice on the road to bring back snack later.Great hotel overall A!

We actually live in the Greater Phoenix area and I found this hotel for a "staycation." Upon entering the property we found the staff inviting and helpful and the amenities and room beautiful and clean!! There are 2 huge pools and we were excited about swimming with the grandkids for 4-5 days! Plus, it is almost right across the street from Scottsdale Fashion Square which is a great midday diversion for everyone. Also, the complimentary breakfast and evening reception were exceptional! Unfortunately, 2 of my grandkids woke up sick in the middle of our first night and we ended up having to cancel the rest of the trip and head home. The staff and manager were extremely accommodating and happily refunded us our pre-paid room. I can't say enough good things about this hotel!! This is definitely our new fun weekend getaway spot and we will be booking more stays in the future:))

We visited the area coming from the SF Bay Area and found Embassy Suites the right choice being close to the Scottsdale shopping and Art centers, and on the main Scottsdale Road to Paradise Valley area. Good place for family with children with 2 good pools and tables around. We’ll be back next time around.

This place has the amenities you want. Free cooked breakfast and parking. It has a daily free happy hour never seen anywhere else. A nice pool and large fitness center. Its location is near all the great Scottsdale restaurants. What else could you ask for

This hotel is conveniently located to shopping , dining and outdoor activities in Scottsdale. Our room was clean and quiet and there was plenty of space for the two of us. The complimentary breakfast ( with the exception of the coffee ) was excellent - so many choices ! The pool area was also clean and convenient. The staff were helpful and courteous. My two “ complaints “ about our stay are : the coffee- it didn’t taste or smell like coffee. It was watered down and tasteless. For someone who looks forward to that “ first sip” in the morning, it was a little disappointing. Secondly the exterior corridors and stairwells could use some power washing. They are grungy and there was overflowing trash cans in the stairwells. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

The property is dated and can use some maintenance and renovation. The evening reception was terrible. Not much to munch on and the drinks were sub par. The hot tub lacked proper maintenance. Tiles were missing and not fixed. Elevators wer not working. Not much of a restaurant to speak of. You would need to go off property to eat a decent meal.

Pros: Location was great and within 10-15 min drive to most attractions. Pools and gym were great. Loved that the room had a fridge/microwave. Cons: The room had dated furniture, some of which was falling apart when I inadvertently looked underneath a chair to get something I dropped. The rooms could have been cleaned better. Breakfast had barely any vegan options other than potatoes. Some of the fresh fruit was a bit frozen. The Happy hour snacks were chex mix and goldfishes which seemed very low budget.
