Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia/Pasadena Area

I generally always stay here when in Pasadena/Arcadia. Front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. Fitness room is open 24/7.

Nice property. It was convenient to have laundry facilities within and then a bar and grill to get food and drink right there while doing laundry. Hot tub could have been a bit warmer but still great! Easy in and out with lots of options in the neighborhood.

Was not aware of it being under construction. And no parking

Hotel staff was very nice and courteous. Lobby area was very nice. Limited parking spaces due to Hotel renovations. Would of been nice to be aware of renovations prior to booking. Room was decent but not great. Room had a big blue stain on the floor. Furniture looked like it was moved around. Bathroom sink was somewhat clogged.

Convenient, central location, all inclusive with hot breakfast. Best price I could find for a decent hotel near most of what I needed to access. The frequent police activity in the area was disturbing, but I felt secure all the same. Top feature in my eyes: Hot tub. Primary issue: Pool towels were dinky little rags that were rarely available. I ended up using a towel from my room.

The parking ended up being free which was helpful because we stayed for a while. The pool was the perfect temperature and we enjoyed being able to use our floaties. The check in was smooth and Brianna was very kind. The whole staff was accommodating and they seemed to like working together. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. I would have liked the shower curtain to have been cleaner but that was no big deal. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

We brought our electric vehicle because we were told they had EV chargers. They had 3 charging stations, one hose and none were working. Staff directed us to Springhill suites next door to charge. All were full.

Good basic hotel, clean and comfortable. Could do with updating. Nespresso in room, small snack store, bar and restaurant in lobby. Outdoor pool and hot tub. Free onsite parking

The property was so clean as well as the rooms! No complaints, quiet area, convinient food options around and a shopping mall! Will stay here again!

Hotel floor had a weird odor. Felt dirty in the room. Sheets had stains on them and bathroom mildew in corners. Won't stay again.

Very dated, so old the grime is permanently in the carpet. I have seen cleaner truck stops. Not just due to age but poor cleaning. The flat surface turned the clean wipe black. Will never stay at this hotel again. Even if it were free.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Hotel. I was excited to bring my parents and wife for a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. Upon check-in, I informed the front desk that I am a Gold Member. However, I was told that since I booked the room through a third-party service, I would not accumulate points. Additionally, when I inquired about the complimentary bottled water typically offered to Gold Members, the staff refused to provide it. Shortly after entering our room, we encountered a large cockroach on the bathroom floor, which was larger than my thumb. This incident frightened my wife. I immediately reported this to the front desk, but their response was underwhelming. They merely said they would send someone to catch the cockroach and informed us that there were no available rooms for us to switch to. Furthermore, no compensation was offered for this unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in our room was extremely loud and could not be completely turned off. Even after switching it off, it would automatically restart after a while. Additionally, we could clearly hear footsteps from the room above, causing the entire room to feel like it was vibrating. Given the severity of these issues, I believe we should have been offered a complimentary room as compensation. This experience was far from the high standards I have come to expect from Hilton hotels.

Room was good but could have been better if there was hot water for a shower and minus the cockroach in the bathroom, and a cook to make breakfast.:(

The carpets in the hallways are completely disgusting the room carpet is nasty bathroom worn out never stay there again

Staff is friendly. Free parking. Free coffee in lobby with hot breakfast available to purchase. Rooms are on the smaller side and beds are small.

Hotel was fine. Budget hotel, so was good enough for an overnight stay. Hallways reeked of weed but couldn’t smell it in the room so that was a plus. Biggest issue was that we rented a room with a king bed. We had a king frame but a queen mattress. Not only were we not as comfortable, but whenever walking around the bed, you naturally turn at the mattress. But, since the frame was larger than the mattress, we constantly were hitting our knees against the sides. We got in late at night after a long flight so just needed to crash. We left around 9am and there was no one at the front desk at that time and had to catch an uber. Overall, fine to sleep, just really didn’t appreciate getting the queen mattress on the king frame

Just an average hotel and for the price point it’s what you would expect. Price was expensive due to holiday pricing. Maybe have given 4 star but hotel was way too loud. Walls are very thin so you hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallways. Even if you have the “do not disturbing sign” hanging outside, you hear every door opening and closing in your hallway, housekeep knocking and yelling “housekeeping” before they enter every room. Staff was friendly enough.

The A/C did not work and we had maintenance try and fix it for 2 hours. Before midnight they said we could either try and sleep without A/C or move rooms. We moved rooms and hotels.com said we couldnt get compensation for it since they gave us a different room as if we could refuse the room and look for a different hotel at midnight. The beds were uncomfortable and aggrivated my rheumatoid arthritis. In the morning I could not stand up straight as the pain in my back was too great. I got free breakfast for my inconvenience and pain.

Overall, good stay. Rooms were dated and could use new carpet and paint. Would stay here again, if in the area.

Nice staff, clean room, clean lobby/breakfast area, easy/included parking. I would definitely stay here again. Downside: Loud and full blast room AC units (that woke us up) with no low/quiet setting and no remote. Also, I don't like the throwaway pod coffee.

It was a nice hotel, clean room, good location. The only issue with my room 209 is the toilet needs a new flapper. It causes the water to drain, so every 1 min 41 seconds, the toilet tank will fill with water for 9 seconds. It's noisy so it's noticeable.

Window shade needed repair /replacement

What I didn’t like is that we were close to the elevator so you could hear the ring early in the morning.

It was a decent property as in clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. My biggest issue was the hot water. I had to turn it all the way to hot to get any hot water at all and then it was scalding. Then it would go cold then scalding again. Very aggravating.

This is my 3rd stay at this property. My previous stays went smoothly with no complaints. This time I had some issues with our room but after notifying the staff, they were quick to respond and rectify the situation. Overall, great staff and experience.

Female staff was rude, no customer service skills at all, she first told me I didn't have a reservation. then she gives me the name of someone else's reservation, a hippa violation, my reservation was found by me giving a confirmation number, which was a first for me, she never spoke about parking, breakfast or anything the hotel had to offer, she must have personal issues because I came in a good mood. She needs training.

Check in was a breeze. Staff has been super friendly they even had homemade cookies when I checked and and gave me two for free.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arcadia, California, and have mixed feelings about the experience. Some staff members, like Amaya, Pollyanna, and Eddie, did their jobs well and stood out for being genuinely helpful and attentive. Pollyanna and Eddie made sure our breakfast went smoothly, and Amaya was quick to step in and solve problems when others didn’t seem willing to. Unfortunately, these helpful moments were overshadowed by a few frustrating incidents. First, when I asked the front desk about doing laundry, one attendant incorrectly told me that laundry pickups only happen at specific times (even though the information wasn’t on the bag). Instead of assisting further, she gave me a phone number for the laundromat and told me to call them myself. I later found out that the hotel actually has a guest laundry area that she never mentioned. We also had an issue with a package delivery. Despite showing the front desk our tracking details that confirmed it had been delivered, they initially said it wasn’t there. Only after we pressed them did they find it, admitting it had been misplaced in the wrong box. Another major inconvenience was being locked out of our room because the door lock’s battery died. When I went to the front desk for help, they told me maintenance wouldn’t be available until 9 am. I explained that I had a flight and needed to leave by then, but the desk attendant brushed it off, saying, “Oh, it’s easy to get to the airport.” I found that com

Called and went down to front desk, both days I was there to ask for extra blankets and towels. Didn’t happen even called multiple times. Front desk manager would just say yes we will get them to you. Upon check in they did not disclose we need Ed to request house keeping the room was not cleaned at all.

The property needs a renovation. Lobby looks nice, but our room didn’t match up. What’s considered a free breakfast at other Hilton properties I’ve stayed at was $16.50 here, though there weren’t enough plates, flatware, food or seats for the number of people there. Staff were rude when I asked to see my folio at checkout. I’d been overcharged. They reluctantly corrected the bill once, but I’m still owed $33.

My stay was just an overnight stay. I stay here a lot because it’s great free parking, the staff is fabulous and the hotel is very clean.. it’s also near restaurants and gas.

Nice place and good location

Our default hotel choice in LA, location is superb. Not too far to the best Asian food in San Gabriel, Alhambra & Monterey Park area, not too far from the nice Old Pasadena area, combo with the nice & safe area. Plus walking distance to Arcadia Oak Park nearby for morning exercises and simple children playground.

Everything was nice except for the tv channels available. Restaurant had small menu but was good; location near several other restaurants.
