Embassy Suites by Hilton Arcadia Pasadena Area

Beautiful place and room was nice. The indoor pool and hot tub were the highlight besides complementary drinks between 5:30-7 pm. Alcoholic and non alcoholic, which is great in case you’re not into it. The only thing that I would change is the floor my room was on. I didn’t know that the elevator was glass were made out of glass. My child got really scared and cried, but other than that, this day was great.

Incredibly gracious check in, the free drinks for happy hour and snacks were a welcome surprise, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We got to swim in their deep and heated pool, with no shortage of towels. I will take off a fraction of a star for the old mattress that was worn out, but other than that a perfect stay.

Charged for parking

Good: Good breakfast with variety of selection. Staff was responsive to our issues. Room is clean, have all he amenities described on the web site. Check-in and Checkout was painless. Plenty of parking space available. Many restaurants near the hotel within walking distance. Shopping Mall nearby. Could use improvement: Room is a bit outdated but clean. Sofa bed seems worn but usable. Pool needs more towels replenishment at times.

The tv was broke and blue in color. No movies. The bathroom sink was clogged. Difficult not only for us but other people waiting in line to ask how to get out of parking lot because what was given didn't work. Bfast was good and service was friendly and helpful. Happy hour was not so great. Old discolored celery, tasteless spinach dip, no cheese and had to ask for salami which I saw on someone's plate. I was down there at 5:10pm and already out of what little was put out. I ordered drinks not on happy hour because the line was crazy long. All in all my stay was average.

The only thing that was not good was the spa. There was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn. It was one of the reasons I booked this hotel was it had a hot tub, so that was disappointing. The staff, from the front desk to the kitchen to the cleaning staff and beyond, were AMAZING! Kind, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was great for a hotel buffet- refreshing to have a made to order egg bar instead of a self serve waffle machine. Room was spacious- beds were lacking somewhat in comfort but sufficed. Airflow struggled some for the bedroom, but we adapted and utilized a small fan to help. I am mobility limited, and in my week long stay could never get access to the handicap parking spaces, as the few they had were always full. And if you do not get one of those spaces, the remainder of the parking area is very difficult to navigate- stairs and slopes to get to the general parking lot. I am hopeful that ownership will consider expanding their accessible parking to accommodate for more available spaces!

This s a great hotel. The room was nice and big. The only issue was one elevator was out of service.

I’ve been staying at this hotel since it was new. There are always issues with front desk staff as no one has ever been there even 1 year. No new a/c as always very loud. Too many pets. The bathrooms are always dirty and rife with mold in showers and elsewhere.

Bathroom was dirty. The bathtub basin is peeling. Black mold on the ceiling. Toilet does not flush well. Killed a cochroach.

Roaches infested in my room, from the bathroom to the bar area, crawling up the walls I have never experienced this in my 16 plus years of world travel . Even in 3rd world countries

We love this place but we did notice our room wasn’t very clean. So that was a bummer.

This hotel had roaches. There were 3 in my hotel room in one night. I called the front desk, they sent roach spray, which they would not let me keep. The manager was very accommodating and moved us to another room and gave us one night free, but nonetheless, I cannot sleep where there is a roach infestation. I lost 3 days of sleep because I was afraid roaches would crawl on me when I was sleeping. The whole facility also needs to be updated. I won't be staying here again.

the room smells like stagnant water. I open the windows to get rid of the smell but was unsuccessful. also very dusty

Rust in bathroom and paint peeling throughout room. Furniture was damaged and dirty.

Had to check out a day earlier because we couldn’t take th moldy smell. First our room was leaking and after back and forth with receptionists swapped room only to have foul smell. Couldn’t take it. Breakfast on the other hand had quite a variety to choose from. Not going back for sure.

The room was ok. Bed not so comfortable. They shut the AC off at night, so its a bit warm. The bathroom was not clean at all. The shower was full or mold around shower head and corners of tub. Not cleaned well at all, including the floors. Not happy with our stay.

Lobby is nice, Bathroom was entirely too small. My room was on the side with a huge machine/air conditioner outside that made noise all hours of the day.

Our stay at this hotel was below average. This is my second time at this hotel, and still the same issues the doors slam if you don’t pay attention also at night when in the living area, you can hear peoples doors and people walking outside. Also, the bed was not secured to the box frame, causing it to constantly slide around, making it very uncomfortable for for late night activities. What made the state even worse was the fact that there was only one working elevator on the side that we stayed constantly Taking about 10minutes to get down the floor although the indoor pool is very nice and my kids enjoyed it was the only highlight of the stay the parking was about $12 a night which is not bad I will not be returning back just due to the fact that it feels like there is no privacy due to being able to hear your neighbor kids slept in living area had to put a white noise speaker just so they can sleep and when room service came in to clean because we forgot to put do not do not disturb sign the bed was made, but the cleaner took the TV remote, causing a one hour search party to try to look for it Since it was already late, we let the front and know when we checked out

The room was nice and clean. The AC did not work as expected - room temp was set at 67 but felt like 77. The shower head could use a replacement, with the end part already sticking out of the wall, and was making loud noises

My shower barely had any water coming out and my couch had burns on the fabric like someone fell asleep while smoking. On the plus side the staff was always friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.

Large spacious room. Nice breakfast. Nice hotel. This is a good option if you have children. Room is split, has a sofa bed.

The location of this property was excellent. Breakfast excellent and bar excellent. The staff was very friendly. The location of our room was right above the main outdoor conditioning unit which ran 24/7 and was very loud even with our sliding doors closed. Also the free wifi was not working. I kept getting the message that the internet was not connected.

I stayed one night with some friends and we were disappointed in the state of the hotel. Our AC was minimal. The suite felt cramped and outdated. On a pleasant note, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

The check in was quick and easy. The room was very clean. Shower didn’t have good pressure and the mattress was uncomfortable. Living room tv had picture quality issues.

The suite was very spacious and modern. Common areas were nicely decorated and breakfast surprisingly robust (omelet special orders and plenty of food variety). The cleanliness of the suite needed attention - doors, kitchenette walls and shower tile wipe downs. Arms of furniture could use a deep clean.

We had a good stay. Stayed here two years ago and loved it. However, this time one set of elevators wasn’t working so there were only two working elevators for the entire hotel. I saw some housekeeping having to wait for empty ones so they can bring all their stuff on. Also, the WiFi/reception was terrible. Barely had any reception on WiFi or using our regular 5G/LTE on our devices. I know that seems minor but if you’re trying to plan things using the internet, it made that difficult. Staff was friendly.

Restaurant and housekeeping staff were very kind. The front desk were also friendly, however, this morning I just needed a little more time past check out as my daughter was not feeling to good. I called the front desk to ask if it would be okay to che k out a little past 11am. I was told NO because the hotel was sold out tonight. I was disappointed and I felt the gentleman at the front desk was In compassionate. 😔. If it was not for that experience, I would have raved about my stay. I have always had excellent service at the Glendale Embassy Suites.

The tv was not working in the living room of our room and the coffee machine. But Madeline at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us and resolve the issue. She had such great energy and was very helpful. We have been to many hotels and have had bad experiences because of employees. Madeline really improved our experience and will come back again. Love the breakfast and honestly staff here is great.

The stay was overall amazing & above my expectations. The room was clean, the staff was absolutely amazing (friendly, helpful, always available & happy to help). The breakfast was delicious & had great selections. The only “negative” thing about the breakfast was that there wasn’t any gluten free options for bread/pastries & the meat proteins were only pork (for being in that area i would think they would’ve offered Turkey sausage/bacon, however the restaurant offered plenty of GF options for dinner) but that was my own personal opinion. They breakfast staff kept everything clean & fully stocked. The restaurant’s food was delicious, delivered hot & fresh. I recommend ordering!! The general areas & pool were always clean. Parking was secure & we felt safe in the hotel. When I go back to the LA area I will definitely stay there again.

We absolutely love this Embassy Suites! Jose and Mark at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed especially since our son is autistic and has certain needs. The lounge staff is SO friendly and accommodating! We love our happy hour time with them all! Aaron is always spot on helping with the guests! We can’t wait to go back!

I booked my hotel days ago.... upon check in arrival after a long day at Disneyland I was told the hotel room was all sold out and my room had been given away. The concierge wanted me to be grateful that he downsized me to a hotel down the street. I went from a suite with two rooms and two beds to one... not to mention my stay came with an inclusive breakfast.... now I was getting none. At the same cost to me. This type of treatment is beyond unprofessional.

I booked my stay through Hotels.com and called the hotel around 7 PM an hour before my arrival at 8 PM to confirm some details. I spoke directly with the front desk woman (who I later found out was the manager, Ryanne). I asked about the pool and Jacuzzi, and she told me they were open. That was a key reason I booked this hotel, it was meant to be a peaceful break for me and my children during a really overwhelming time. When I got there, Ryanne suddenly said the pool and Jacuzzi weren’t working. I reminded her we had just spoken, and at first she acknowledged it but then changed her story and claimed she had transferred me to reservations and I must’ve spoken with someone else. That’s not true. She did transfer me, but I hung up right after because I believed I already had the answers I needed. I never spoke to anyone else. She was the one who told me the amenities were available. When I told her how overwhelmed I was and that my kids were crying in the car, she kept insisting I cancel the reservation. I made it clear I didn’t want to cancel, but she continued pushing me toward that option. When I got emotional and started crying, she told me to stop cursing, as if I was the problem, not the person needing help. It was humiliating and emotionally exhausting. There was no empathy, no accountability, just defensiveness and coldness. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Terrible Service – We Left After Two Days - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! We originally planned a 13-night stay here but after two days of awful service, we canceled the remainder of our reservation and booked another hotel. (Similarly priced, with professional staff / friendly, hospitable attitude!!!) Despite requesting a crib weeks in advance, it wasn’t in our room upon arrival. At check-in, I reminded the staff and also asked them to prepare the pull-out couch for our older son. When we returned from dinner—two hours later—neither task had been done. To make matters worse, when they finally brought the crib, they left it outside our door with the sheets exposed and lying on the floor. Roach Motels would do a better job than this!!! The poor service continued the next day. We left our room at 7:30 AM and returned at 2 PM, only to find it hadn’t been cleaned. For a hotel that charges premium rates, this is completely unacceptable. When I brought these issues to the manager’s attention, her response was dismissive and unprofessional. She showed no empathy, offered no apology, and made no effort to resolve the situation. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re considering staying here think twice. For the price they charge, you can find much better options with staff / management who actually care about their guests.

AC in room was not working. Told front desk they did nothing the first day. Next day they said they will send a technical but didn’t. Instead they sent a fan. Requested room service for a day they had missed and they agreed to and someone but never did. Front desk staff does not follow through

I like that it’s close to a big mall. In a walkable distance to lots of restaurants and little shops which gives you many choices of food and merchandise. The hotel also offer a big parking lot with lots of spots to park. It does charge an overnight parking fee but the staff helps letting out the family members that may be visiting for a couple hours. My family always enjoy the indoor swimming pool & spa that is available year round whenever we are able to re-visit and also their awesome breakfast buffet that caters our need to some yummy food before heading out on the adventure for the day. I personally like that they have their gym open for 24 hrs to use.

We stayed for a night since we went to Universal Studious. Close to restaurants and shopping. It was a 30 min drive to universal.

Centrally located, not far from Downtown LA, Pasadena and Disneyland.Room was spacious. Staff was responsive and friendly.

My family and I spent two days here on the 25-27 July 2025. We chose the property because of the price and close proximity to SantaLos Angeles attractions. Great, clean and safe place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I Quiet neighbors hood with many restaurants. I ants won’t mind staying again.

Breakfast was great. Very standard for Embassy Suites, which is known for extensive breakfast options. Interior decor was great, also expected from an Embassy Suites hotel. Great location.

We always stay at an Embassy whenever possible. The hotel is excellent and clean, the breakfast is awesome, very organized and well stocked. The only negative is the restaurant and happy hour. The drinks not during happy hour are insanely expensive. The restaurant food is expensive and awful. The staff during happy hour isn’t that the friendliest. We did happy hour one night, after that it wasn’t worth it.

We are a family of five, so we utilized the sofa bed. We stayed 5 nights. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was great. They have an omelet station. The dining breakfast area would be blocked off after breakfast, so that no one could use the tables later in the day if you order food and want to eat in the lobby. The tables they do have available do not allow you to use them for outside food. They do have seating areas to eat at, but no tables to eat outside food.

The breakfast was not up to the standards I enjoyed on my last visit ( one of the reasons I stay there ) lukewarm and soggy

When making my reservation the app says all taxes and fees included, I guess fees for parking don’t count. $12 a day for parking when every other hotel has free parking. Just parked somewhere else the second night to avoid the fee. After paying $300 for 2 nights parking should be included. The evening reception is also a joke. One beer on tap so if you don’t like budlight the free drinks are worthless. So don’t think I would stay there again.
