I love this place - have stayed almost everywhere up there and keep coming back for the combination of location, comfort, great staff, and price.

Great experience. Beds could have been a little more comfortable but still good overall

The cabin was nice and spacious and very clean. We did not get housekeeping service though despite putting the sign on twice( we forgot the first day). The location is perfect. We attempted to light up the fireplace but something was off with how bad it smelled indoors with the smoke being blown inside despite the vent being open. Finally, we did freeze a little. No comforters, no extra blankets and it was a snow storm outside ( the front desk is far). I did not realize my kids had a phone in their room until it was time to leave. The heater in the master bedroom was broken and and the portable one was also broken. I did mention this upon checkout and was hoping for some sprt of credit but nothing was done.

Upon arrival the staff was friendly and attentive. The issues started in the room with lumpy bed that hurt me and my partners neck, struggled with the door to open or close, the shower/ bathroom combo flooded into the faucet area which made running to the restroom a messy experience. The view of the lake was nice, the heater was cozy, and the table was cool but the negative things I described almost ruined my first experience to Big Bear.
