Studio 9 Big Bear

We stayed for one night and I have no complaints. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and location was amazing. The outside of the building is a little rundown, but the rooms seemed to have been updated recently. If you’re looking for a place for a quick trip this is definitely worth it.

Hotel should not be open yet. No sugar or cream or stirrers for coffee. No ice machine. Poor air conditioning. No 24 staff

It is still under construction however the room was clean there was a working air conditioner and fridge. Would definitely recommend if you are on a budget.

We loved the lobby area that was centered around the kids fun!

It was a bit unprofessional. The emplyee's were friendly, but upon check in I was greeted by a little girl who yelled for her aunt in a room behind the counter. IT WAS AKWARD. I felt like a stranger coming to someone's home that we were visiting, but didn't know them. Again friendly, just very strange. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. They did have a fooshball table and a old video game that we ended up playing. They did also have wine, champagne and non alcoholic cider on the table in the lobby along with water and ice. Which for New Years and the price they charged, we should have had snacks, and a continental breakfast. The rooms seemed to be somewhat remodeled, but still dated. There was a small place that should have been a closet, but didn't have a bar to hang anything. The fireplace was old and was questionabl on if it worked. We did not have a phone in the room for any type of guest service. We had to walk to the front for anything we needed in the room. Thank God for a wall furnace, since it began to snow and was very cold. It worked well. They had Christmas lights that were very cute. Over all would we stay again. Maybe

The exterior is a bit abrasive looking: however the interior was excellent! The bed, pillows, bedding, flooring, bathroom and all were exceptional!

On the Main Street close to everything. It’s under construction, it would have to know this before making plans to stay. Has potential to be good

The lobby was a great space with a massage chair and some games. Bathrooms was 5/5 star, with soap included. Walkability is also great. I would suggest requesting a room on the second floor, as we could hear every step that the guests above us took. Bed sheets were stained, and there could be some general cleanup to the walls (patching and paint) but those did not affect the stay.

Jason was the guy to help us. He is amazing. He had all kinds if games and activities for my kids to play with. Had recommended many food places. He was absolutely helpful. My son left his airpods by accident and he is sending them straight back to us. Thank you so much for the most wonderful hotel experience.

Front desk person was very kind and welcoming. Check-in was great. Clean room. Heater worked very well. We were cold when we got in. Within 15 minutes we were worm🙂Bathroom clean. The shower was very hot. It seemed impossible to get it adjusted to just warm. It I slept well in the bed. My husband didn’t. The lamp didn’t work in our room. The only ice machine was in the lobby, which was okay. But it didn’t work. The price was reasonable.

Rooms were ok, however blankets were dirty. Asked housekeeping to change and someone just walked into our room, without knocking as one of my teens was about to get changed. The person was eating and talking with her mouth full asking what was the issue with it, there was a huge stain on it. All the sheets seems as they were not even changed or washed, full of hair. AC did not work, was so hot we had to leave windows and bathroom door open do get in some air. I am glad we only booked for one night. Had stayed at Motels with better rooms cleanliness.

When I first arrived I was afraid it wasn't open There were no cars in the parking lot. The lobby was locked with a phone number to call. I called and the manager came out let me in to the lobby and checked me in. The lobby was beautiful, rustic and immaculately clean. When I opened the door to my room I was surprised to step into what was more or less a brand new room. It was clean and seemed that all the furnishings were new. In the bathroom the towels reminded me of some of the best spas I have visited. I have to admit i was pleasantly surprised after my initial impression. when I go back to Big Bear I will definitely be staying here again

The hotel is very nice, great location, friendly staff, the room looked clean and neat but after a getting in the room, we noticed long hairs in the bathroom, a piece of floor was loose in the bathroom door, lamps looked dirty The shower faucet was wrong, cold actually means hot, no curtains on the window made the room very bright in the morning, condensation started to form in the ac unit and the floor and mirror in the room got all wet, pillows are so flat, I needed to put my clothes all folded up under the pillows to sleep comfortably The room was nice but just a few things need to be detailing

The room was not cleaned when we arrived. I feel like someone just moved out and we are in immediately, floor is so dirty with hair all over. The tub was bad with soap on the wall and dirty restroom. The feet towel with so much stain on it, definately someone had used, dknt recommend this place at all. I wish i read the reviews before I book

Check-in was really quick and easy thanks to Rob at the front desk. The room was recently renovated and was neat and tidy. The bathroom was clean and new and had plenty of hot water. The village with plenty of restaurants and activities was within walking distance. Overall I recommend Omeo Suites and will stay here again. Cheers.

Host was very friendly. The room was very comfortable, convenient location, and overall great value.

Very nice and cozy. Very comfortable bed and updated TV. Unfortunately there is no closet or hangers so we had to hang some clothes on the shower rod. Other than that great, will be booking again.

The room was spacious, however, the fan and air conditioner didn’t work. There was a floor fan provided, so we had to leave the bedroom doors open and plug the fan in in the living room to circulate air. The single restroom (located inside one of the bedrooms) wasn’t clean. The shower door did not close. While The room itself slept about 7 people, only 2 bath towels were provided. There is a keurig in the kitchen, but no water provided. The worst part though was that the king size bed in the room was clearly new-ish and firm, it was still in the plastic wrap it was purchased in. The bed was made over this plastic. Any time you turned during the night, it sounded like someone was opening a bag of potato chips in your ear. Bottom line, the price was great. The experience was below expectations though overall.

I booked on Hotels.com, and the room was different than the one pictured. I booked three beds, and one of them was a bunkbed. The room looked quaint, and nice when I got in it. I was told that it had three beds when I checked. It was the honeymoon suite. It failed miserably. When I got in the room, there was a queen size bed, and two couches that pulled out to a double bed. When I set up the two additional beds, they literally took up the entire living room, and you couldn’t get into the kitchen area without climbing over the bed. The had no sheets on it and the extra sheets and comforters for the two other beds were non-existent in any. The center room gas burning fireplace did not work. The coffee maker was there but there were no coffee pods or condiments to be found. When I got into the shower, all of the 5 Shower bulk shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, lotion were either empty or had about 5% left in the container. There is no phone in the rooms, and no directions on how to work the TV, heater, ceiling fan. so I had to call the front desk, which nobody answered. Thankfully, the host sent me a text from his personal cell phone to let me know when I could check in. I used that phone number to ask him to bring up extra blankets, coffee the nonworking fireplace. Also I did not know what the Wi-Fi password. I paid $289 for this room. It was worth about $79 at most. I’ve stayed in Marriott suites with an ocean view for that much. I wouldn’t pay more than $130 on a busy season.

I had such a great overnight stay here with my boyfriend! The room was really clean and Omeo suites is so close to the Village and many other activities. The walls are a bit thin but the overall stay was excellent. Hospitality was also great!

It was ok for a 1 night stay only. You could hear the people talking in their rooms from each side. The microwave only worked for 10 sec. Intervals?? The heater even when turned off, kept the room hot? Air conditioner didn’t work- luckily there was a fan we used to keep the room cool. Overall, not a good experience . Would personally, not stay there , again. 2 star after remembering the above!!

Perfect location for a ski weekend! Felt safe, clean, and incredibly welcomed by the staff/management. The walls are thin, so I plan on bringing earplugs my next visit.

I went to check in and no one was available. I call numerous times with no answer or call back.

This Inn/hotel is right next to big bear mountain. We arrived super late like 3am due to driving from San Diego. The on call supervisor was there and super nice and gave us a later check out time because we arrived way past check in. The room was nice, large area for bed and the bathroom was standard. They had adequate parking around the inn/hotel. I would definitely be booking again for a big bear trip.

Checking in was a little frustrating, Walked in and stood at the check in desk for about 25 minutes before anyone came out to help. While taking a nap that same day as check in we had the gentlemen who checked me in at the front desk in a serious argument with his wife/girlfriend all while standing in front of our room, Cursing each other out and that lasted about 45 mins or so, only to start back up again at almost midnight. The people who were above us were extremely loud as well and kept us up all night with loud walking and jumping. While the property was ok and location was great as well, I dont think we will ever stay here again.

Definitely not what you expect when you see the name SUITES in the name of the Hotel. It is almost impossible to contact anyone at the front desk because at the front desk is a sign telling you to call the person on duty. The second major issue i had at this hotel is the room security. Upon our first night at check in we had another guest of the hotel gain access to our room because the front desk gave them a copy of our room key. As if that was not bad enough, the following morning the same thing happened again as my wife was getting out of the shower. Not only is this unacceptable but a major issue for the safety of the guests. Room check-in is at 3pm, typically not an ussue but when asking one of the employees i was able to find about early check-in both my wife and my self could have done without the attitude. If you are sensitive to noise this is not the place to stay. The walls are thin and you can hear the people on the next room with ease. The heating and cooling systems are old and make surprisingly loud noises throughout the night along with the air conditioning unit dropping water on the floor as if it was raining in your room. If you are only looking for an affordable clean room it meets the criteria, anything other than that do not hold your breath.

Location to the village is great but is very noisy at the hotel at night and in the morning, some people were loudly arguing and traffic noise in the morning.

The marina is within 5 minutes walk. Where you can take a boat ride and the bowling alley is across the street
