Great rooms, clean and quiet. Remote never worked for tv and never got fixed after requesting help. Son fell at pool and sprained ankle due to flooded areas, had to call ems myself, per staff instructions. All activities we had planned had to be cancelled at our expense. I will be getting billed for ambulance. Staff never asked if he was ok, just had me fill out report, and gave no further assistance. Our vacation was spent at hospital and i will be incurring financial hardship we can't afford.

This is our 4th or 5th time staying here. We always love it. The location on the lake is great. This trip, however, was not the best. We mainly choose this lodge because of the location & the indoor pool because outdoor pools here even in the summer are too cold. The second day we went to the pool in the after & it was closed. We were told something broke & it may or may not be fixed the following day. The next morning I spoke with the manager, Tiffany, and asked to check out a day early and receive a partial refund for that day. Without a pool we were pretty bored & hot in the condo that has no AC. She said absolutely not. She stated that the pool would be fixed sometime during the day so she would not issue a refund. The pool did not open until almost 6pm that day. For us, this was a big deal as my daughter really wanted to swim and the pool was shut down a little over 24 hours. We reached out to our booking agent who also spoke with manager Tiffany & was told if we wanted to swim we could go swim in the lake. So we absolutely will not return because their manager lacks customer service skills.

This is by far my favorite place to stay in Big Bear! I have been visiting Lagonita Lodge for over 10 years. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. The location is safe and easy to get to. The rooms are very clean. Definitely recommend 👌

I had contacted the Lodge twice to make sure a handicap room was available with Lake view and access to elevator and was guaranteed it would be. When we arrived, no communication between front desk staff members. The room that was available was dirty and had to be cleaned. We waited over 3.5 hours to find two of the maids in there sitting on the chair and one laying on the bed with both tvs on as they watched their telenovela and were chit chatting. Dead bugs were found in the drawers and on a towel, place was still dusty and dirty, toilet didn’t work nor did sink as they were both plugged. Shower had hairs in it. Went to front desk again who were very rude, busy gossiping, and sighed multiple times as if we were bothering them. Put us in the third room in which was supposed to be our reservation from the beginning, mind you we had waited for it for over 5 hours, no one had eaten and they knowing I was with someone who is medically disabled, and finally given a room. I wouldn’t suggest this Lodge to anyone else as there are better ones that are cleaner and take better care of its patrons in the area and on the Lake.

I did not appreciate hotel staff knocking on my door at 10:06am angrily telling me that check-out is 10am. I was literally walking out the door, had to deal with limited parking so loading my vehicle was very difficult. It turned a positive experience into a negative one, I haven\'t felt that uncomfortable in a long time. Even the cleaning lady was rude, repeating "Check out is 10 o\'clock!" Not sure If I\'ll stay here again.
