it is a welcoming hotel with wide and tall areas, nice reception and service very professional, the bar is nice and open, the rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant brunch is good, the location is excellent and plenty of free parking, I would love to return with more time to enjoy the pool and the gym.

Double tree resort was a true resort. Very large facility that never felt crowded. Lots of activities available, bike riding, tennis, pickle ball, golf, gym swimming. Just walking around the whole facility takes over an hour. Despite desert it felt very lush. Complaints are very few. Pool towels are small and you need two for lounger, but not significant. Housekeeping rules a bit confusing. You have to ask no problem, told staff we wanted room cleaned each day. They did it twice then didn’t the 3rd again handled by hotel in 5 min which we really appreciated. Lastly again super minor, maybe wipe chairs on balcony because we sat down and had sand over our clothes but i know with the wind and desert it’s a hard thing to do. None of these would keep me from giving hotel a 5* rating and we want to stay here every time we come to Palm Springs. Location is great 12 min from downtown Palm Springs and 10 min from airport, 20 min from tram and 40 min from Joshua Tree. I could stay here a whole week. Only ate at hotel once. Breakfast buffet okay, but coffee was average. Starbucks across street just went there each day for our coffee and tea afterwards.

My stay was awful. It’s sad no one cares anymore about customer service. My room came with one towel for a 5 day stay. I asked both housekeeping and the fri t desk daily for more. Wasn’t given more until the 4th day. The ducks from the golf course fly over into the pool. Cute until they poop constantly. I asked how they clean this and they couldn’t answer. We didn’t use the pool because of this. It was so gross. The beds were like motel 8 - so uncomfortable along with the pillows, not a Hilton expectation. Every time I tried to mention I was not having a pleasant stay they wouldn’t even apologize for the inconveniences. I won’t be staying at a Hilton again

Resort fees of $40/day are the highest I’ve ever seen. No refuting even though we are Hilton members, the golf course was closed and we don’t use the pool or workout room. They only will clean rooms every other day and didn’t say anything about that. Finally, the shower tub wouldn’t drain so you wade in standing water during the event. Too many other choices and will try a different resort next time.

This is an older dirty hotel, older hotels are fine if management keeps it clean. This property has dirty carpets, walls, dusty rooms and our room had dirty/stained sheets. For the price we paid it was not worth the stay. Never going back.

We stayed on the first floor and the hallways, doors, baseboards were very dirty and worn down, The carpet needed a deep cleaning. They need to do some basic maintenance at least on the first floor.

The landscaping was beautiful, however the chairs on the balcony was absolutely disgusting, old and filthy dirty! Couldn’t even sit on them! Also thought we paid for a balcony over the pool or golf course! Instead got a view of a rooftop! Would never recommend or stay again

My room was incredibly dusty. It was clear that the cleaning staff had not cleaned that room since the last time it was cleaned. I went and dusted everything myself because it was bad. Additionally, the room was filled with bugs. Told the staff and nothing was done or offered. Avoid

Sorroundings is really nice, the golf area. Table and chairs are dusty. Trash can has no plastic bag in the restroom. I hope theres a microwave inside the room.Swimming pool needs cleaning maintenance.overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel itself is nice, as are the staff, but the room itself left much to be desired. For starters, though we booked a king room with a balcony and mountain view, what we received was a king room on ground level, an open patio with no privacy, and a terrible view. The curtains were only drawn for light, otherwise they remained closed. The next issue was the mini refrigerator. It wasn't doing anything. We had bought beverages for the sake of keeping them cool at the ready, and we brought leftover pizza to the room with the intent of preserving it over the night, so you can imagine how disappointing it was to find warm beverages in the fridge many hours later. And those weren't the only things not staying cool.... For the first warm weekend of the year, i was excited to beat the heat with a cool room. However, the unnecessarily loud A/C -- set at the minimum level of 60 degrees -- yielded luke warm temps at best. I had trouble keeping dry after each shower, and while cuddling my partner at night was still enjoyable, the A/C played no part in that. My advice? Demand you get what you pay for and stay away from Room 111. We were too tired to bother requesting the changes, if that was even possible on a holiday weekend, and we didn't know the extent of what we were in for until it was too late.

When we stayed here, there were several issues with ambient noise : 1. Wind was howling through the patio doors constantly for the first 2 days of 4 days of our stay 2. Adjacent to our hotel is the Desert princess country club for golf - right from 5 AM the golf maintenance machines start droning 3. If not the above, the AC from the adjacent rooms start off noisily The resort pictures on Expedia or on the Doubletree hotel website pages show as though there are acres of greenery around for walking and relaxation. In reality those belong to the golf club nearby, where you are not allowed technically to walk around. Its just any other hotel with a large parking lot and "dressing" in the front. The "bike rentals" advertised in the resort amenities are of no use, as they are to be used only on the road, there's no biking path or trail in the "resort".

We stayed at this Doubletree property for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The view of the golf course and mountains beyond was stupendous and that is what caught my attention to book to begin with. Everything was very clean. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. It was a very large spacious one bedroom with just a mini fridge. I would suggest a microwave if not a kitchenette put in. There is certainly room to do so. Plus the room space was very big so maybe abit more furniture and lighting. It was quite dark in the living room in the evening. but we loved the view during the day and my husband loved the golf course beside it. We ordered food from the lobby bar one night and it was very good. Nice and central to other restaurants. We hope to come back.

This is the second time that happens when I am using hotel.com/Expedia. When I checked in online, the hotel charged my card and when I spoke with the front desk, her name was Mila. She stated because they did not see the rsvp was paid. She released the funds after they took it out from my credit card. When I checked in, the front desk guy was not very friendly, it looks like he was extremely exhausted. He greeted me with how can I help you?… and when I stated my issues, didn’t even apologize or showing any type of remorse toward my issue. Now the hotel held $310 from my credit card. Otherwise the hotel is decent, had a great view of the golf course. Has the buffet breakfast, they were ok. Nothing special about it.

The rooms are fine, the food is terrible, can’t get hot water or room service until 2pm, no one is going out of their way to make your stay better. With the sand storm we were shut in our room for two days with no decent food on the property. I had to wipe every surface free of dirt( probably due to the sandstorm), but still a new experience at $500/night

Checking in was great the customer service was really nice ,made us feel welcomed. The resort is huge staff walking around was always nice. Elevators are really fast. Parking is easy. There’s free bike riding, definitely do that it’s really fun.

I had called twice to confirm we had adjoining rooms but when I checked in there were no adjoining rooms available. They apologized and gave me credit to use in the hotel bar/restaurant which we were happy with. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The pool area was clean and well maintained. Our rooms were very clean. Overall, very happy with our experience despite the slight hiccup with the rooms.

Our stay at this DoubleTree was a mixed one. The property itself was in a beautiful spot with a great view of the mountains and the wonderful Golf Course next door. The pool area is first class. However we encountered a number of problems with the hotel simply not being kept in good shape. Our room had numerous problems including the toilet, electrical outlets that did not work, a sliding glass door that did not have all the weather stripping, other doors that were in poor condition. The front desk staff was really one of the worst I have seen in any upscale Hotel. They were indifferent to guests for the most part. I saw them at one point talking to each other and complaining loudly from behind the desk while customers were waiting and could hear everything they were saying. Numerous times I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. The small store that contained beverages, snacks and other items was out of stock of a number of selections. When we left I got a very indifferent thanks from the person who checked us out. As we walked out the door we said we would not be coming back to this DoubleTree again. Rude and discourteous behavior plus seen a number of very unhappy guess during that our stay, some having open conflict with the front desk, did not bid well for our experience.

Yesterday at check in we were told as Gold Members we get a $30.00 credit, today they told us we were misinformed. There was no shampoo or body wash in shower, had to call twice before receiving. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, absolutely nothing special, carpet in living was filthy. Don’t say here unless you are use to 2 star experience.

The overall property was nice (room size, cleanliness) and was very family friendly. However, they need to upgrade the AC unit as our room was stuffy. A friend was staying in another room and experienced the same. They also need to switch to a smart TV system so guests can order/watch movies. Finally, there is one kitchen that serves the same and very limited menu throughout the property - despite them advertising having different restaurants on the property.

The whole experience was disappointing, there was never an answer when room service was called. Front desk personnel were not helpful or friendly. It took hours to get items needed like towels and toilet paper. The only night we decided to try the food for dinner from the hotel restaurant my daughter got food poisoning and was sick all night. The staff did nothing to rectify it when I informed them about it.

We had a wonderful experience at the Doubletree! The pool was a wonderful experience, and we appreciate Alyssa at the front desk for a cabana rental for our baby moon. We did have an experience of food poisoning from the Mira Bar that soured our last day but the amenities were wonderful otherwise.

The rooms are fine, the food is terrible, can’t get hot water or room service until 2pm, no one is going out of their way to make your stay better. With the sand storm we were shut in our room for two days with no decent food on the property. Love that it is pet friendly. They hallway in the second floor smells really bad. I highly recommend the breakfast at the Polanco. It was delicious! We loved the pool was open till 10 pm.

The pool was super cloudy, food was okay but it just seemed like the resort was stuck in “we just opened after Covid “ mode. I’ll try another resort next time, but the warm greetings cookies were nice but not worth the $30 a day resort fee for self parking and a restaurant that’s only open for breakfast
