I was super impressed with the security car in the middle of the night in the parking lot. Thank you. Dirty carpet and the smell of cigarettes was gross. As far as the breakfast by 8:30 there wasn’t much left…no protein to gather, bread was out. Staff at front desk was amazing.

The room was fine. I am 71 years old and handicapped. For a hotel with 3 floors there was no elevator or cart for luggage. We were on the 2nd floor with no assistance.

Everything was perfect. Barry the manager is very personable and professional. Grounds are very well kept. Rooms are clean and quiet. Well lit parking area…I’ve paid more and gotten less at many hotels. This place is a keeper, and a good deal.

This is an older, very basic property but it is very reasonabl priced and was clean. There is a grassy area for dogs, mini-fridge, mini waffles for breakfast. The front desk people were very pleasant. Minimal noise from other rooms. Good shower. Room a/c worked great. Ironing board/iron/hairdryer. Cons: thin blankets, some thin towels some thick. Minimal soap/shampoo. We were there 2 nights, slept fine.

I did not like the fact that there was blood stains on my sheet and one pillow case. Obviously someone is not doing their job and it certainly reflects on everything else. We used Wyndham in Washington state for almost 20 yrs.and never had a problem even close to this.

The room was large, but extremely dirty! The floor was sticky and so dirty you could see the dirt. The walls need washed, absolutely disgusting! The bed and pillows were old and stunk. The plus, the shower kept its hot water. It was also extremely noisy and housekeeping was very loud. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were old, new paint would help a lot. Corners and doors/walls had dirt in/on them. Decor was nice. Beds were very comfortable. Floors thin, we could hear our 2nd story upstairs neighbors getting up and leaving at 6am which made our 7 am wake up obsolete. Stairwell smelled of weed, yuck. I should have paid the extra $50 and staid at a nicer hotel. I mean…what can you say…it’s the Super 8

Ac was not working. Dirty bed sheets. When walking in the facility the smell of mariguana coming out from other rooms. I didn’t last 30 minutes I lefts with my family to other hotel across the street.

There were four of us. We drove to Chico for my nephew to take the SAT at a test center. The Super 8 was spacious and a good size for all four of us. The staff was nice, and the stay included a light, simple breakfast with waffles, juice, fruit, yogurt, etc.

The water pressure in the toilet was pretty bad, would rarely flush properly. The TV kept disconnecting from the cable, I’d have to go unplug then plug in the box behind the tv. I could tell there had been a pet in that room before because there was dog food pieces under the bed and on the spring box that is under the mattress, there was a dog pee stain

We liked that there was a fridge and a microwave because we came in late and only have easy-to-heat foods. Nice room decor and comfortable bed and pillows. Decent continental breakfast, or if you want a full hot breakfast there is a Denny’s next door. There were old stains in the carpet, but the bathroom is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Overall, everything was good. The place is outdated in terms of sheets, pillows, carpet, and bathroom. It serves its purpose for a day stay but not sure I would do it for like a family vacation. We just stayed for a night while visiting my student. Breakfast wasn't bad either, they had continental style, and waffles. Nice people and it wasn't too loud either which made it nice.

Just needed a place to sleep, but they failed because the bed was uncomfortable the pillows were clumpy and there was a lot of noise from the nearby freeway. The breakfast was also poor. That really didn’t matter to me, but I didn’t eat anything. I just needed water and they were out of that as well. Just an overall bad experience.

Did not use room due to condition. I keep being told that i reserved a smoking room in a state that is is illegal to smoke in hotels. The room was so disgusting that we couldn't stay in it and they where un willing to either change our room, or cancel the rest of our 2 night stay. Every time i tryed to talk to anyone about the issues i was told that the manager was un available. I had to get a completely different hotel. This was by far the worst experience

Dirty the housekeeper took my bottles and cans i was saving. Beds were horrible you could feel the springs. When it was time to check out i needed a paper receipt for work and the girl was very rude and would not print it so i had to go baxk after work and ask for it.

While the desk personel were pleasent. The Motel has NO ELEVATOR, normally we wouldn't care but my wife has MS and I'm recovering from major Hamstring Repair Surgery. So stairs are not our friends. It said nothing in the online App and our Reservation was non-refundable. Also every day a Major odor of Marijuana which gave us a headache. Then with our DO NOT DISTURB sign still on the door this morning the housekeeping person knocked and tried to walk right in on my wife while I was taking things to the Truck. So there are some things that need attention and proper etiquette.

The place was clean but in an area near the 99 Highway that was frequented by homeless types. I enjoyed my stay but the road to the Super 8 is very rough and needs to be re-paved! I liked the location which was close to Denny's (an affordable breakfast). The "free breakfast at Super 8 was pathetic....waffles and processed pastries....NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

At check in the lobby smelled heavily of marijuana. I asked the front desk person and he casually said “I thought I smelt it”. Which tells me it was probably from him. At check out there were two people trying to get a room (and did) who obviously were under the influence of narcotics. It was just sad. I t was NOT safe for a single mom and her son.

I was in Chico for graduation, the price was seriously hiked for this weekend. Normal fees were around $100 this weekend $350. Not really close to the University, not walking distance. The room was subpar, stained carpets and damage on the doors and in the shower. I won’t return nor would I recommend. The upside the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This Super 8 is to be in a class somewhere between a Motel 6 and a Best Western. The room was clean enough. Towels were terrible, they were scratchy with little fluff. I had to fix the toilet seat because the bolt had become loose. This was obvious. The air conditioner was very load and outdated. The most significant grievance was the lack of anything close to a Continental Breakfast. What was available, was not much, there was such a poor selection of offered item. It was pathetic ! Now.....if the price point was right, I would stay there again.

After driving across 3 states I arrived at 8pm. I checked in and went and got something to eat. When I went to my room around 10pm I was immediately met with a very strong cigarette smell. Like chain smokers house kind of smell. I was exhausted and didn’t feel like moving rooms at that point. Even leaving the fan running all night didn’t help the smell. I got up early the next morning to make the 9am deadline for breakfast. I should have just slept in. The breakfast room is tiny and people were lined up 10 deep for the one waffle maker. I went next door to Dennys and paid for a good breakfast. Even if the room didn’t smell I would have been disappointed. Very dated and just gross. The towels were thin and stained. And if this place has elevators they keep them hidden, I never did see any. I thought this was a step up from Motel6 next door. I wish I would have stayed there!

Thank you for getting rid of the homeless situation. I felt safer this visit. The waffles and other items made for a great breakfast. The room was very clean. Great bed, sheets and towels. I appreciated a clean set of towels every day. Most places do not do this. This why I will return in the future.
