Really walkable area and cool pool came in clutch on hit days. Can be a bit loud during the day but does get quiet at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and plenty will consider a spot when traveling to Chico

Great place . All clean . Jacuzy room was great and breakfast was good Just the pool hours it does not make sense I arrived at 8:30 pm and checked out at 11:00 the pool hrs is 12:00 to 8

It is a noisy street where the place is located, the room was clean but the wall plugs where in bad condition or broken, personal is really profesional.parking is on first come first serve basis.

I like the location and how convenient it was too walk to the plaza. I did not like how dirty the pool was, how they charged my card for my stay the night before arriving, or how minimal the breakfast was. The breakfast had the option between two small banana muffins, one raisin bagel, 3 pieces of bread, or cereal. (I didn't see milk.)

It is well kept and has a pool.

The staff was nice especially the lady at checkout. The room was a little gross (there were about seven dead flies in the window sill). The grounds were were also a little dirty.

The location was convenient. The motel layout was standard. The parking spaces were made for smaller vehicles. One big pickup truck took up two spaces. The guy next to me had his TV on too loud and was smoking pot, and I didn't think the management could deal with that. I tried to call them three times but the phone just rang and rang. I wound up telling the guy to turn down his TV, but he was a kind of scary punk. All in all, it was a good value and I slept well.

Property is nice staff is great. I am staying on a friday night so its busy. But the staff did warn me and let me know to get a good parking spot.

Clean room with nice full sized amenities in the kitchenette like a big sink in the kitchen andfull sized microwave. The staff was nice checking in

There was an oreo on the ground, dead bugs, the ac had no knobs and was unplugged, the tv box was hanging out of the wall ?? -- the bedding had burn holes in it, the couch had obvious ...stains. Another woman's hair was on the shower wall, the floor was sticky and left my feet black. Just grubby and nasty.

We had blood on our bathroom wall it was pretty gross. And our rooms weren’t ready at check in so we had to wait a while for them to clean it which didn’t even end up being fully cleaned.

The picture on the website looked very nice, but in person the place is horrible. The room smells of cigarette smoke. The walls were sticky and so dirty, there was so much mold in the bathroom and there were cockroaches! I would not recommend this place. It’s walking distance to downtown and great restaurants and shops which was the only good thing about staying there.

The floor was dirty. Had to ask for tissue paper and linens. There were cockroaches in the room. The continental breakfast - no milk for cereal, no fruit. The pillows were uncomfortable. Wrong size chair at the desk in the way of getting into the bathroom.

The dirty sheets were disgusting. The floors haven’t been mopped in a while, the light switches dirty, walls stained. I don’t care how cheap this place is, never ever would I stay here again.

One of the cheapest in Chico which is a nice option to have, but I definitely did not appreciate the cockroaches I had to share the bathroom with.

I got a suite and the space and amenities were great! However, the place was FILTHY! I think the only the bedsheets were changed because everything else was dirty. There were hairs all over the shower! And when walking around in my socks for just 2 minutes, they were brown at the bottoms. It's too bad they didn't clean because the property itself was spacious and nice. But GROSS!

This location was right down town. No ironing board, no hangers, no kleenex. We had to ask for towels. Only 1 small garbage can. Noisy and card keys had to keep getting charged.

I really like the spacious rooms, built-in wall liquid soap dispensers and King sized beds.

I can stay in a no frills hotel without an issue, but they say they have WiFi. WiFi connects but doesn't actually work. Girl at the front desk didn't seem surprised and just said there's nothing could be done.

The room was not bad, but you could hear your neighbor. Coffe was bad and the complementary/simple breakfast was not very good.

The staff was very friendly and cordial, and they immediately responded when we asked for more pillows. It is an older hotel that is in need of renovation. The beds are very firm, and the pillows provided were very small and not enough in quantity. The rooms were clean and all of the standard amenities (hair dryer, coffee machine, microwave oven, mini fridge, individual room AC) were provided. The room doors need weather stripping to help insulate road noise from the neighborhood.

Everything was okay except the internet was not working

Place was old and worn, but clean and didn't smell, which is good. . Staff was friendly but had to request housekeeping after 2 days. Fine for me alone. Couldn't expect perfection at the price point.

Very disappointed with my stay. Firstly my room wasn’t ready when I checked in at 3.15, was supposed to receive a phone call when ready but never did. When I got to my room that night the fridge was filled with food, and a door was open to a joining room, which happened to be filled with household items. Then as I’m laying in bed watching tv, someone entered my room, the key card wasn’t wiped. Thankfully I had the bolt lock on so they couldn’t fully enter. The man at the front desk said a staff member was staying in that room and they didn’t know it got rented out. Then who ever was staying in my room before me, kept entering the a joining room taking stuff out till after 11.30 that night. There is only a small twist lock between rooms, so didn’t sleep that night. I checked out early the next morning and wrote a letter to management to contact me and I want a full refund. Still no call from the management, even after I called the office today wondering why she hadn’t called me yesterday. The lovely girl in the reception said she gave my letter to her yesterday and will remind her again. I’ve stayed at the hotel for years as it’s dog friendly and close to my son who’s in college in Chico. But will never stay again. On a positive note the lovely girl behind reception was very sympathetic and amazing at her job.

Every time I went into the office, they had a will be right back sign on the door and the lady was very rude. The room was OK but pretty old and dated.

Had to put my son in a hotel off and on for almost a month and the two ladies at the front desk were absolutely amazing with me and my son.

Several issues happened during our 1 night stay. Our room was a non smoking room but smelled of fresh cigarettes. We were woken up by a couple entering our room late into the night, they had been given our room number and key incorrectly. Manager and housekeeper knocked on the door in the morning 3 seperate times asking for when we were checking out well before the 11 am check out time. I recommend avoiding this place.

Perfectly fine for the price and the staff is super nice

My check-in process went professionally and smoothly. But then I was told that they REQUIRE an additional $100 damage deposit to stay there, that will be refund upon my departure (hasn't been so far). They also had a very detailed four paragraph "contract" that I had to initial each paragraph and then sign the final document. Very unusual in my travels.

It is fine for the price. Very friendly and kind at the check-in counter. Close 10 minute walk to Chico State, great places to eat, and cute shops.

It was a comfortable stay overall, although the area and the security feels unsafe.

It was fine. Our room was clean. We were within walking distance of the university and lots of restaurants. The woman who worked the mornings at the front desk was very friendly.

Toilet seat was loose. Coffee maker leaked,breakfast was bland and phone didn't work. Furniture is old and looked like it was bought from a garage sale.

Older hotel, bedding is thin padding & old pillows. Missing 2 out of 3 lightbulbs in bathroom. Cable TV & channels were good. Decent water pressure in shower. Very poor continental breakfast. Basically coffee, plain bagels, small packaged muffins, some juice. Nothing served hot, unless you include your toast. Better off sleeping in & going to the AmPm next door. Friendly staff, low budget, inexpensive motel. Close to downtown dining & entertainment.

They had no breakfast and when they did the next day it was all frozen not edible at all it can actually be a health hazard having food out frozen with muffins I was in disgust and they were closed half the time in office couldn’t go in

managers are rude. They say we have breakfast but they Don't.

The property, and my room, was clean, comfortable and everything worked. The furnishings and amenities were no frills, but that was to be expected for the reasonable rate. I was impressed by the little extras such as organic face soap and nice quality shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. Both of the front desk clerks were very friendly, welcoming and made me feel valued as a guest. The breakfast was average for continental fare. Real juice was a nice touch. If you need a clean, centrally located, fairly quiet place to stay for a night or two, look no further.

I found a cucharache in the bathroom. Breakfast was not really as they described

This is a solid value motel. Yes it’s old, yes it’s in downtown, but the room was decent, the bed was comfortable, and I felt safe. The only negative was the breakfast selections. The coffee was mediocre and there wasn’t much in the way of food so don’t count on breakfast. That said, the room rates are very affordable and I still feel like I got more than I paid for.
