Hotel is ok. Location is close to beaches and harbor. It is sandwiched between two freeways and back side rooms are boring and noisy.

We were not happy that the only way to get to the beach was to cross a busy street and walking through a campground to get there. There was a longer way to go but requires a longer walk. Pillows and sheets need updates. Pillows were so soft they didn't give your head and neck any support. Fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the bed. The mattress cover had stains in it. Hallways and elevators were hot. I ordered the French toast one morning and it took about 45 minutes to get. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is decent. We had a nice ocean view. The room was very nice with a balcony. It’s in a good location across from a beach and at $300 a night it’s a fair value. Nicer than other hotels we have stayed at in the area. We had an issue where someone came into our room without knocking, when we had the do not disturb sign on our door. We told him to get out which he did. I tried to call the front desk but the phone was dead. We called on our cell phone and asked for the manager. He was in a meeting but we were told he would call us. He never did. We went by the desk again and were told he was out. We never heard from him. When we checked out I asked for him. The desk clerk said he didn’t work weekends. I told her today was Friday, not a weekend. I ended up with an assistant manager. She apologized and said the workman went into the wrong room. He was supposed to be going to the room next to ours to repair the shower. Not a good excuse and how about knocking before going into the room? That was it. They did not seem too concerned. I won’t hold my breath waiting for the manager to call me.

Check in was horrible. I prepaid the week in full and they gave away my room and were super condescending about it. The hallways smell heavily of drugs all the time. Parking is $55 per night. For the price we paid it was not worth it.
