Ayres Suites Diamond Bar

The property is Great. The only issue was, the Hot tub was out of service on Saturday, but on Sunday is up and running.

Car Charging is no longer free.

Lovely room and facilities. Interesting layout as the fitness center is on the second floor. Excellent breakfast and small store for additional items.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The jacuzzi was a relaxing and bigger than we expected. Even with the construction, parking was easy and plentiful amd everything was clean.

It's a nice hotel. Front desk was especially helpful. I choose hotels based on their EV friendliness (it's extremely helpful do start the morning with a full charge). All of the chargers were vandalized and only one was working. Was told they have to wait on freeway construction before they can fix/replace.

Great check in service. Good breakfast. Clean and not overcrowded. Amazing value. And Tesla chargers!!!

The best part was the heated pool

Had an awesome time here! While it's not a luxury hotel, the free breakfast was fantastic. We loved the great little pool – remarkably, we had it to ourselves every time we visited. Plus, the pool boasts an amazing view of the mountains and a golf course. Truly tranquil. 10/10.

The place was decent, nothing special. Free breakfast was nice but selection is limited. Gym was really small and stinky but we were able to get our workouts in.

We typically enjoy staying at this hotel, chain, and purposefully seek it out when making our bookings for travel to Southern California. Check-in was easy. Walking down the hallway towards our room, we smelled a pretty strong odor of marijuana and cigarette smoke. As we entered our room it smelled like somebody was sitting in the middle of the room smoking a cigar. The odor was very powerful. I’m surprised the smoke detector didn’t go off. Opening the windows and blasting the AC did nothing to remediate the smell. After speaking with the front desk, there were no other rooms available to switch to. The next day, much of the same. Upon check out, I let the front staff know about the smell and it’s lingering effects (Now our clothes smelled like cigarettes as well). I was told that I would be contacted by management to discuss the issue, and then didn’t hear back from them at all. Definitely disappointing, and shifted my perspective on staying at this location, or others in the future.

The check in process was excellent. Now about the room and hotel terrible it smelled bad the carpets were so dirty i didn't want to take my shoes off. I only sat on the bed and the matress sinked in. I didn't stay, i asked for a refund and they refunded me my money. I went to the Doubletree in Claremont California

Overall, it was a great stay. The cleaning product smell was strong and came home with us, but we were glad the room was clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again

The Hotel was awesome and we loved the room we were assigned. It looked clean and the bathroom was great. However, it reeked of Pine-Sol cleaner. Later in the evening I started to sneeze and sneeze, and eventually developed a stuffy and runny nose. I only realized the next day that the reason for the sneezing and runny stuffy nose was because I was allergic to Pine, which the Hotel apparently used in our room, based on the smell.

When we came in the room, the door was unlocked. A used cloth was on the desktop. A used piece of soap was also present, should have been thrown away. Looked like the room was setup in a hurry.

This was my third time staying at this facility and I chose it because I was very pleased the other two times. Cleanliness is high on my list, and this Ayers meets my criteria. We were greeted nicely upon arrival, and check-in was wuick and painless.

We encountered a rude employee at the dining room on Sunday. Our room smelled like smoke, a filthy odor that left us with keeping the fan on all the time.

Nice and accommodating staff, clean rooms, quiet cooling/heat, free parking, complimentary breakfast. The plumbing is loud in some rooms - lots of squealing and buzzing when rooms around you use shower or toilet. The freeway is loud and constant if you are in a room along the freeway side. If that bothers you, it’s pretty bad.

We had a very nice room, was clean and quiet, however the AC unit was completely insufficient and we spent two nights sweating profusely. Staff was very pleasant, breakfast quite nice. But the AC unit is a deal breaker for us.

My stay was excellent. The room was big and clean. The staff was friendly.

They were quick to answer the maintenance call but however were not able to make the AC work. Thankfully it was a cool night in LA. Room 316 needs a new unit though

The property is clean and has the potential to be very nice. THEY NEED NEW BEDS! The beds are old, warped and not comfortable. The toilet paper in the rooms is the cheapest available, something you'd find at a roadside gas station. A few simple steps and this could be a very nice place.

We had room 119 and every time someone would close the door next door our door would rattle, you could hear opening and closing doors and you could hear people walking upstairs on top of our room.

Great stay, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Sylvia at the front desk was warm and welcoming every morning!

Took care of myself and my 93 yo father. The staff made us feel like family.

I've been loyal to Ayres Suites for over 13 years, and Diamond Bar was my first location. It set the standard for warm hospitality, clean rooms, and consistent quality across the brand. Whenever we’re in town for races, I book here without hesitation. During our recent Mt. SAC trip, we hoped for a late checkout due to a later race start. Breana at check-in was friendly and said it should be fine. But the next morning, Sylvia firmly denied the request, citing fairness to cleaning staff and other teams. She suggested that we leave the race early. (Insert eyeroll here. Perhaps only run 1/2 the race?) We respected her stance and returned post-race at 12:02 PM. Our room cards had been deactivated, but Sylvia reactivated them briefly, admonishing us it wasn’t a late checkout. She also said that she had sent another employee to our room to make sure that we were out and to ignore him. I wondered if she sent him to everyone's room immediately at noon? Yet, I saw him walking from my room only towards the front desk. Hmm? We grabbed our bags and checked out without issue, though cleaning staff were still working in other rooms. Despite that hiccup, the stay was excellent. Room 122 was spotless, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept pain-free for the first time in months. Breakfast was standard but satisfying, with friendly kitchen staff. I just wish we’d had that extra half-hour to avoid the scramble. We’ll be back for future races—and Ayres Diamond Bar remains my top pick.

Very rude staff and manager. John, a worker here would give my partner and I dirty looks and stood outside our door until we checked out. I felt very unsafe here and the manger does not make a safe environment.

Everything was great except for us requesting a shuttle ride for our event on Saturday evening and it was canceled without notification. Thankfully, it worked out but it would have been nice to get a call from the front desk to let us know.

Loved the location, right off the 60 freeway but it was still quiet. There is a target and dining not too far, a mile away. In n out very close as well. Nice and clean room, will stay again.

Heavy construction in area . Sits right off extremely busy freeway with heavy traffic at all times of the day

Convenient to freeways. Quiet with the double pane windows which is really important considering the location. We have stayed here three times in the last 2.5 months.

This property is tucked away in a nice quiet area but yet just a mile away from restaurants and shopping. We were going to a tournament at Mt. Sac and the drive was quick and easy no freeway required to get to the school.

Only a one night stay, but the location is perfect for anyone needing to go to Orange County or Los Angeles. It was 15 minutes to Anaheim stadium to watch the Angels play, and only 30 minutes to Riverside to golf.

I’ve stayed at a few different Ayres hotels and they’re always clean and have a friendly staff. The close proximity to the OC and LA of the Diamond Bar location is super convenient.

Note that there is road construction around hotel. I was facing the freeway and construction and did not hear a thing.

This was our first stay and we were very pleased with the accommodations. It was very clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was great and had a large variety of foods. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, conveniently located in college proximity. Terrible breakfast. Will not come back even if my child choose to attend a college in the area.

I really enjoyed the breakfast here. Can make your own waffles and there is always eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, cereal, etc.

Breakfast could end a little later. 9am is kinda early for retirees. Should be 11am
