The parking gate was a bit confusing because we arrived at night and couldn’t see the button where to tap your room key so you don’t have to pay exiting. We paid twice but they said they would refund the additional $25.

Place was plenty clean. Don't order door dash and expect it to come to your door. They make the doordashers leave it on the ground by the front doors of the lobby and they also don't let you know this. When I went to check out, the front desk person informed me that a total of (9) vehicles were broken into in the hotel parking lot over night, so keep that in mind.

Great pricing for Bay Area hotel on a holiday. Very nice Bay View rooms available facing West towards the sunset and SF City. Nice hot spa tub and well appointed tub. Downside, $25 parking for a sheet show excuse for a lot. Staff made up for that.

When you pull up, the parking situation is a little confusing…There is a parking lot for customers straight ahead past the lobby entrance with an access gate, or a small little round-a-bout to the right with a few spots if you need to check in. This caused a little traffic jam around the entrance when I pulled in because of clueless people who don’t know what to do when they are confused. Once parked though anfter glaring at these dummies, upon check in the guy at the front desk was great! Had me checked in and off to my room faster than any hotel I’ve ever been too(very direct with his questions) and that was nice after working a long day and just wanting to get settled in as quickly as possible. Then had to go out and use my room key to gain access to the customer parking lot and the clerk gave me a separate parking permit to throw on my dash to show I belonged there. Once inside, the place was clean overall and the restaurant/bar was open until 10 P.M. which was very convenient…Bartender was a little gruff but speedy and attentive. Room was nice and clean, nothing to complain about other than the bathroom was a little small and didn’t have a fan(which is one of my pet peeves but doesn’t bother most people)…overall very solid for the price, definitely would come back!

The hotel was nice, the staff was great, the location was great, the cleanliness of the room... not so much. I took one of the white hotel towels, wet it down and proceeded to wipe the counters, headboard, etc. I came back with black, nasty dirt on the towel. The floors were horrendous! I walked around barefoot for 10min waiting for my girlfriend to finish showering so I could take one as well. I stepped into the shower and found I had left black foot prints on the shower floor before I even turned on the water. Absolutely disgusting!!! We ended up placing towels along the path we were going to walk while we were there.

There was mold all over the walls after entering the room . I could smell it as soon as I stepped in and once I walked a little further , I was able to see the wall covered in mold . It looked as though they painted over it and it began to seep through . They moved my room but to know that this was not properly taken care of was crazy

Our stay was fine. My only complaint was that the fitted sheet had a few black dots on the edge of the bed, right next to the pillow. It looked like black ink. I didn’t complain because I think that it was still safe to sleep on but it didn’t look good.

Our room was a good size. It was clean but it did have a smell to it, we noted that there is no fan in the bathroom. When you shower the moisture remains in the room. Creating the smell. It’s not pungent or unpleasant but it is noticeable.

Called the Hotel's direct line to make sure they had a crib for our 11 month old baby. The Hotel confirmed they would have a crib. When we got there that location didn't even have cribs at all. So I found it very strange that when I called them directly not the general Hilton number the direct number to this location that someone confirmed that we would have a crib. We would have packed a Pack and Play for the baby to sleep in. Furthermore no one cared at all about our baby's safety. Not at all they just apologized offered no assistance what so ever. Asked if we wanted to cancel our booking and stay somewhere else. Which we were only staying for one night and it was 2 hours before we had to attend a wedding. There was not enough time to cancel and rebook elsewhere. Luckily there was a target 7 mins away. We had to run out a purchase a Pack and Play. The costumer service at check in was completely horrible. The staff had zero empathy and did not care at all about our situation. To add to things our baby crawled around the room and within 5 mins she was covered in black. The carpets were so dirty. The room appeared to be renovated and "clean' but I assure you they were NOT! We will never be staying at this hotel or any Hilton locations again.

Excellent service checking in. Interactions with staff has been great. Everyone is relaxed and friendly. The room is very nice. Everything is clean and well maintained. Our view of the Bay Bridge at night is spectacular. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

I loved our room 717 view of the bay .. but hated that the hallway was super noisey with other guest and employees. House keeping knocked at right before 8 am which was SUPER annoying but overall ok experience.

The night staff was probably the worst I’ve experienced at a hotel. The staff that I encountered at two different times of the day were good. I don’t have any complaints about them. Customer service was pretty good from the day staff. The area was beautiful and so was the scenery. It was also quiet and the room was great. Because of those positive things, I’d likely go back. I would sincerely hope that I don’t see the evening staff again.

Honestly I will never book there again. The staff a women receptionist at the front seemed like sge hated her job. I Didn’t feel welcomed. The room was not locking correctly so when I told the front it seemed like it was problem that I was complaining I was worried about my belongings and my safety and then I also paid for my pet 75 dollar fee and as soon as they heard bark they called immediately and requested to go back to the room.

I was getting a snack by the front desk with my kids when we were disturbed to encounter staff at the front desk being rude to a customer that could not speak English very well. The staff was sighing in clear frustration at the customer not being able to get her message across and said “what are you?” While asking the customer what ethnicity she was in order to attempt to translate on her phone. She said it in a very rude way. The customer asked for a pen to write and the staff member said “no” and did not want to give her something to write with. The whole situation was extremely unprofessional and made my family very uncomfortable. Everything else was great about our stay except for that experience.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden for 5 nights and thought it was an excellent stay and the rates were quite reasonable. All the staff especially at the front desk were great! Super helpful and polite. Andrea at the front desk was especially helpful for local directions. The rooms were really nice. The bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Overall the hotel is nice I rated this a 3 due to the service and room condition. I stayed 2 days upon arrival I informed the front desk our room was out of shower gel, tissue, hand soap, and we had one 1/2 roll of toilet paper. The desk stated they would take care of this on the cleaning the next day. Well next day comes I return to my room 3pm it was not serviced and we are still out of everything. I again called the front desk and was told they are short staffed and can’t get to this. They offered a single shower gel no tissue no toilet paper just a single size body wash. This is not what I expect from a Hilton. In addition we had 2 drinks (mules) at bar and 6 wings bill was $72 way overpriced. Breakfast is $25 each parking $25 daily. Yet I can’t get toilet paper. What am I paying for….

Always love staying at this hotel. A little out dated but it’s clean. The customer service is always great. The beds are comfortable and clean. We like that it’s close enough to San Francisco, just across the bridge. We love the area around it. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Property and staff are awesome. Facing the freeway i could hear traffic all night long, especially loud vehicles. The unsafe aspect is related to the city itself nit the hotel. Is bad when locals tell you not to wonder in to town after dark. I highly recommended this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable room. I arrived hours before the usual check-in time and was able to get into a room immediately -- excellent customer service. There's a walking trail right outside the hotel that's worth hiking, with a view of San Francisco across the bay.

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years.Right by the Bay Bridge so easy into SF. Berkeley and Oakland nearby for all the excellent restaurants. Good service, comfy beds, restaurant and breakfast in-house.

Room was very nice and front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The bar was missing ingredients and could not make menu options. Workers were watching television and were unprofessional. The food in the restaurant was practically inedible from the very limited breakfast menu. Better to not even have a restaurant if you cannot hire people that can actually cook a meal as basic as breakfast.

Excellent Buffet Breakfast, large nicely decorated room, surprisingly quiet (especially as it abuts I-80), decent bar food, and just a very nice service orientated staff. The ladies working the AM breakfast buffet were great! Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay. Everyone who assisted me was kind and attentive. It was nice that they had a restaurant on site because after a long day at work and then drive it was very convenient. The food was very good, no complaints at all. A little pricey for the kind of food but I didn’t mind because of the convenience and how quick they took my order and brought it out.
