Rodeway Inn Escondido Downtown

Mold in bathroom, broken tiles with black dirt showing. Heavy Chemical smells coming from what appeared to be an air condition site but you cannot reach it to use because it’s about 6ft ip on a corner. Reported these issues and was told they would let management know. Staff not friendly, in fact rude, the whole place smelted of strong middle eastern food, very loud.

A/C controls didn’t function properly

The shower curtain was torn and disgusting. The shower faucet was difficult. The electric outlet doesn’t work. The blanket was old and had many holes. There were no chairs or lamps. The heater was very loud.

Room smelled , did not have a working TV , the manager showed up at 9pm to fix it it worked until i changed the channel then back to an error message and blue screen ..there were no lamps so it was overhead lighting which was very bright ..the manager called about an hour after I arrived and askef of I had water in my room red flag ..but on a positive note the manager was nice enough to give me extra towels and was friendly so .. i will give the Staff 5 stars but the room one star ..i only paid 58 dollars so I guess i got what i paid for ..also the bed was very comfortable. . And there were stores and food nearby with in walking distance not a bad place but definatlely not for fancy folks
