Motel 6-Escondido, CA

Terrible gross smoke smelling room with a jankey door. Wierd thibgs going on and it felt 1000% unsafe. Cancelled immediately and was told it will be refunded, but now understand i need to circle back seeing this message because it must have been “overlooked”. Motel 6 was once a very reliable market player.. Now its straight up terrible. Run like hell.

Sll was good except for the waterbugs in the shower snd the bathroom sink falling off the wall

Roaches were popping up in my room air conditioner bearly worked

Staff was fine. Everyone did their job fine. My complaint is to the facilities in general. There was this roach I woke up to on the morning of me checking out. Where there is 1 roach, there are 25 hidden.

It a safe area lots of drug addicts stay here. Room was a non smoking but smells like a smoking room. Ended up cleaning the room myself as well as the sheets so it was livable for a few days. Shower barely worked. No water pressure at all. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything. Elevator is slower than walking up the stairs. Homeless people in the lobby selling things in front of the staff and nobody cares about that happening. Meth rvs in the parking lot that never move and dogs running around like crazy.
