Clean and easy to find. Disappointed to not know the pool and spa area was under construction.

I would've given it five stars, but the pool is not open the days we went.

Great. One small item. Peloton machine in gym was not working.

We chose this property because of the pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub were unavailable.

Rooms were very clean, the hotel over all was great. Friendly staff. Has a bar, snacks, breakfast. Parking well lit and spacious

The parking lot was being repaved, got no advance notice at booking or before arrival. Impossible to find a parking spot! Hotel desk clerk had to find us a place to park. Also the pool was closed for repairs again with no notice and no mention at booking or prior to arrival. Very poor communication!

Hot tub and pool out of order (again). Shower water not hot enough. No in-room tub. In room phone missing lables. Very nice sheets and pillows.

Dryer doesn’t work.

The dryer has been broken for over 4 months. It is an inexpensive appliance considering the total overhead costs of the facility. I don't think management understands how much they are hurting the business by not replacing the unit.

The pool was out of service. The restaurant did not serve dinner as indicated on website. The bar was closed earlier than the posted sign. We had chosen this hotel and made plans based on those specific amenities. The description was inaccurate

Room was not picked up and we had ants in and out of the bathroom.

Arrived in early morning, 1 am. Someone was there to open the door and greet us. She was very friendly and the check in process was quick and painless. The room was good, clean, spacious. Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean. The shower had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, without any additives, it was nice. The shower also had a shelf for your own products and even a long shelf towards the bottom for your foot, and if you’re a woman in a stand up shower, you know what kind of bonus that is 😉. Another bonus was the awesome bright lighting at the mirror, if you know, you know. Stayed for a passing through night, would definitely stay again.

Used soap from the previous patron was still in a soap box in the soap dish. There was an empty tissue container in the bathroom.

Almost everything in the room was either dirty or broken. Sink was broken, bathtub was broken, the tape used to pain the ceiling was still around the light fixture, extra blanket had hair and stickers on it indicating it wasn’t washed, no bags in the bathroom for trash. I’ve stayed here well over ten times and this time just wasn’t satisfactory.

It did not meet the standards of other Hilton Garden Inns that I have stayed at. Carpets through out were very dirty. Window screens in two rooms had huge holes and frames bent.

The employees were kind and helpful. The hallways stunk and the carpets needed cleaning.

This hotel is showing its age. Our window that looked out to pool had air between panes so hard to see out. They almost looked dirty. There were what I assume water stains on ceiling and unfortunately we had ants in our room. A few the first couple of days but on the 3rd day came in full force. The staff was on point. They were friendly and quick to support a request.

Beds are not comfortable and have horrible pillows and blankets. Does not feel clean. Table in room was greasy. Long waits at the front counter.

Save your money and opt for Motel 6. The AC didn’t work, the shower head was leaking, there was mold in the bathroom due to the lack of a fan and no ventilation. Carpet was stained.

Found a cockroach crawling on the bed

The staff were great at check in, very courteous and friendly. Access to the room was awkward, and I didn't love having to walk through the lobby and traipse to my room. The room temp was tough to control, and there was road noise all night. No sign of bedbugs, and the room was nice. It was ok, but I wouldn't stay there again, it was just too noisy for me.

Didnt like the windows not opening. Sure would have liked sone fresh air. The room was stuffy. Very comfortable bed.

Everything was great, especially the staff. But highway noise was obvious within the room at all times.

We were on the first floor. Eveytime other guests let their door shut, it was a loud slam. When trying to sleep it woke me up.

There was no tv reception, bed was too noisy, internet wasn't good.

They only clean the room every other day just lazy covet is over there's no excuse. Water pressure is terrible you can't get clean. The food is good here. Cell phone service here this is terrible and their Wi-Fi is even worse

Spacious room

The location was very convenient since it’s right off the highway. The room was spacious and clean. The AC unit was pretty noisy which made it difficult to sleep along with the fact that the room is not very sound proof. We could hear people talking and slamming their doors at very late hours of the night. Other than that, it’s a good place to spend the night.

Comfortable with a nice TV and efficient AC. Overall worth the stay and the morning staff were always so happy!

The room we were assigned has other guests still in the room.

Problem was on Sunday 5/14. We had 4 in our party whose key card stopped working at noon, but they were scheduled to stay the next night. The went to the front desk to find no one there. They had to wait over an hour for the employee to drive in, park and come to the desk. someone else must have called as well, as a non-manager employee was called in on her day off to cover, but she got there the same time as the one on duty. It's ridiculous to me that there was NO ONE in house to deal with issues. The cleaning staff was not happy either, although they tried to help. What if there was a real emergency?? Really unhappy

Keycard machine was down as i checked in. Waited nearly 45 minutes to get my key as I needed to be able to personally exit and re-enter the room. Lobby area is nice. Room is quiet.

Great staff!

When we got to the room the key card worked but the door was locked from the inside. Wasn’t sure if someone was in there so we went back to front desk and they said they’d give us another room. Went to second room, swiped the card and walked in to find someone was already in that room. One of the weirdest and most disturbing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Fortunately the person we intruded upon was understanding and not upset. Before going to the third room we had the manager go check to make sure it was unlocked and unoccupied. Would never go back to this property.

The staff was friendly upon our arrival, friendly at breakfast, and upon our checking out. The room was clean, it was quiet, and appreciated the amenities of the room.

We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Gilroy - large, clean room, comfortable bed, hot showers, cold A/C, lots of free parking and friendly staff.

I arrived at 11:30 pm to find out the hotel had cancelled all reservations that night without notice. I was stranded without a place to stay.

I booked a room with double queen beds and paid in full through Orbitz. Upon arrival, the front desk informed me they were out of such rooms and asked me to switch to a king bed, promising to bring a roll-in bed. I accepted the arrangement. After waiting for two hours without any roll-in bed being delivered, I went back to the front desk to ask for it again. The same woman claimed I had booked a room with one king bed, not double queens, and stated they didn’t have roll-in beds and never agreed to provide one. They blatantly lied to me and even suggested that if I was lying about my reservation and didn’t like it, I should leave. I had to request a manager to step in. The so-called manager stated that they often ran out of double queen rooms and guests had to accept a cheaper room with one king bed. She also mentioned that online booking agencies like Orbitz and Hotels.com often mistakenly reserve a king bed room instead of double queens. When I mentioned my extensive travel experience and rarely encountering such an issue, she mockingly said it was just unbelievable luck. After an hour of arguing, they suddenly found a double queen room available (at 10:30 pm). I had to wake up my two kids and move to a different room. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. The staff was unprofessional and dishonest, and the whole situation was handled very poorly. I will not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.

Close to the venue

Very nice hotel right off of the freeway. Freeway noise was minimal, though, which was appreciated. Overall, staff was friendly and location was convenient. Would stay again!

Good place to stay in Gilroy if you want.to be close to downtown

Good hotel near fwy with easy access

A little close to the main expressway and a lot of noise. Aside from that, staff were awesome. Very clean modern well kept hotel. Biggest thing was how QUIET the HVAC in the room was to most other hotels. Kudos on that.

All was good. Nice room, clean, up to date. Only BIG problem the $15 dollar breakfast, I wouldn’t feed it to my dog.

I've stayed here before and enjoyed it. The staff is always attentive and professionally cheerful. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding: cloth napkins, 4 hot entrees, everything you could want or need.

You have to pay for breakfast. The breakfast is ok, your usual hotel breakfast. If you order pancakes or French toast that is an extra charge on top of the fee you already paid for breakfast. The rooms are clean and the staff is great I love the texting option to request service. They check on you all throughout your stay I liked that!

Way overpriced hotel “buffet” breakfast $15 a person but adds ons are priced a la carte another $12 for waffles. carpets in hallways and near hallways were very dirty and stained. Beds were mediocre, conditioner was nearly empty in shower. Amenities included a laundry room but there was only 1 washer and dryer was out of service. Coffee was terrible and very watered down. Overall, disappointing.

No more breakfast included

Front desk and restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent quality even though limited selection. Food at restaurant was good as well. Will definitely stay there again!
