Super friendly/helpful staff. Large room: clean, well appointed (fridge/microwave), looked recently painted and bathroom seemed recently remodeled. Easy location and parking. Only real demerit is continental breakfast: basically just cold cereal, some oranges, oatmeal packets and single-packaged danishes (very good coffee machine though) - some hot food and lower sugar options would uplift this...but this is really the only (and relatively small) issue with an otherwise very good stay in a very clean and well equipped room. Would stay there again.

The Miramar is a nice place to stay. It was difficult for my wife and I as we are in our mid 70’s with physical restrictions and had a room on the second floor with no elevator. It was very difficult getting our luggage up a down the stairs.

Very easy to access and a short drive to the beaches and downtown of Half Moon Bay. The hotel staff changed our rooms for my elderly Mom saving her a climb and walk upstairs. There are no elevators. That was greatly appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful.

1st room we checked into TV didn’t work. Was moved to another room, tv would work, but had to be turned on and off manually and volume the same. Shower was very slow to drain as well. Was standing in a few inches of water before shower was over.

We stay here often. It is a good value compared to other lodging in Half Moon Bay. Rooms are clean and our King bed came with 5 pillows. Continental breakfast offered complementary included yogurt, several cereals, juice, prepackaged danish and coffee. The mattresses are pretty hard. I wish they had pillow top mattresses like they do at another motel nearby.

Checked in for two nights for my bday. Made sure to out in comments I needed a bottom floor room due to medical reasons. Lady at desk stated they didn’t have one anymore and that I would be on the second floor with no elevators. Not ok. Room was outdated and dusty. The shower had the worst water pressure and the tub was chipped. Carpet needs replacing badly. When time to check out, I was so exhausted from going up and down those stairs that I barely made the drive home. Not a great birthday at all. Live and learn I guess.

Terrible room #100! Highway noise, stained and frayed carpet. Dripping shower head, and mold & mildew in bathroom. The whole room smelled musty. I will never stay there again.

It was a nice hotel to stay out. We stayed for 2 days. Room comes with built in dispensers for shampoo l, conditioner and body span in shower area. Handsome and lotion dispenser by sink. We stayed in room # 208 and it was very spacious. Outdated furniture. Bed was very hard. If you like a hard bed. Couldn’t sleep well on it. I do have back problems though. Easy access and close to the beaches. Staff was very nice. Breakfast is very simple.

This is a solid place to stay if you are looking for a bargain. The staff is nice. It is quiet. The continental breakfast is very simple. The room is clean and simple. The main issue would be the mattress. I love firm but the bed i had was like sleeping on a kitchen table. I can't imagine anybody being comfortable on that bed. Hopefully ownership sees enough of these posts and puts a little money into the beds.

The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was great until we retired for the night and we realized that the noise we we hearing was the loud sound of someone snoring! I'm not sure what insulation properties were used in the construction (if any), but all I can say is I'm glad I packed earplugs ! I am a light sleeper as it is but to be able to discern someone snoring in the room nextdoor, well personally I find that unacceptable. It's really too bad because most everything else about this stay was very good....

The property is clean and airy and we were pleasantly surprised. It is cleaner than most hotels in this range. The rooms are decently sized and everything works. There is basic coffee provided in the room which is nice. Breakfast is supposed to be included, but the dining room was locked and there was no one around when we left at 6:30AM. We arrived early and were told gruffly ' We don't do early check-ins'. We went away and came back at 3:00. There was a different person at the front desk who was absolutely sweet and made up for the rudeness of the first person.

There is nothing on hotel website or the reservation I made and pre-paid Expedia stating there is a $100 deposit charged at check-in. Failure to disclose that charge is very troublesome to me. There was no need for such a deposit as my credit card was presented at time of check-in Also, there was no reply to 2 emails sent requesting early checkin and complaining about $100 deposit charge. Finally, TV remote control in my Rm 209 did not work and had to have it replace.

The staff was super kind and helpful. They were able to check us in early. The rooms were huge and very clean. There was a fridge and microwave in each room. In each room there was lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Great place to stay!

After 9:00, there's nowhere to eat close by. I had to go to Safeway to pick something up. Also, on Tuesday morning, the lobby did not open or serve the continental breakfast as promised.

Totally overpriced. Wall-to-wall carpet in front of the bathroom sink- yuck! Ceiling paper thin, could hear the conversation and snoring from couple above. Toilet flush and shower powerful and as loud as a rocket blast-off. Breakfast area extremely small. Continental breakfast on the lower side of average, as in plastic wrapped danishes

Liked the friendliness of the staff, always accomodating. Breakfast is adequate but it would good to have bagels and cream cheese and a toaster. Liked the coffee machine and juice machine, and frest fruit that was supplied. Will come again!
