The room was really nice but there was no soap in the shower dispenser. We showed up 5 min late for breakfast and the woman wouldn’t let us get any even though it was still out. We had to buy a $7 water because we couldn’t get any from the breakfast. Construction outside made it hard to park. Both stairwells were blocked off for construction. We came in late and the sound of drilling from construction work woke us up at 8AM.

Building under construction so drapes of grey everywhere. Bed was hard, bath could not hold water due to malfunction with hardware. Gym was closed for construction. Very poor!

Front desk staff were very nice (Amanda & Nicole). Nice indoor pool/spa and big outdoor patio area. Across the street is one of the largest food truck options I have ever seen. Great options for food within walking distance besides the food trucks. Great place to stay if you want to avoid the mess of Sacramento.

Seemed like it may have just been unfortunate timing. The hotel was undergoing renovations which meant a lot of the facilities were closed down (pool, jacuzzi, fitness center). The beds weren't comfortable in the room, the tub in the bathroom didn't seem to be installed properly it kept shifting under foot. The elevators weren't operable luckily we were on the 2nd floor. If I was aware of the conditions I most likely would have booked the hotel across the street instead. I wasn't informed of any of it ahead of time since I booked via Expedia. I guess I should have read the recent reviews. The breakfast was decent at least and the staff we interacted with were nice.

Everything was great clean room nice staff but my niece got stuck in there elevator and she called on the help button ten or more times and when they answered they reset the elevator as my niece went to walk out the elevator door don’t have a safety sensor and almost smashed her in the door I went down stairs to let front desk know she was oh I know the elevator company called and all the stairways are closed to construction so how would people get up and down from the floors

Overall it was a good stay. Only issue I had it the swimming pool was freezing. The only reason we stayed here was the indoor pool. But it was so cold we couldn’t enjoy. Thankfully there was a play area outside we got to enjoy

After checking in, we eventually went to our room, I told my children to each take a shower. We were appalled to find the bathroom had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The shower was full of dirt, and hair. There was pubic hair inside the shower where my kids were supposed to bathe. It was midnight and we had 5 hours to wash up and sleep, so I took photos of this and had to clean it up myself so my kids could shower and go to sleep. I’ve attached the photos. This is absolutely unacceptable and made me and my children extremely uncomfortable to bathe and sleep in this dirty room. I do not feel it is appropriate for me to even pay for this night at all. I am certain these photos don’t do it justice because the feeling of having your kids find this filth is terrible.

Check in and check out was quick and easy, rooms and overall facility was clean. Beds were fairly comfortable. If possible, avoid the freeway side of hotel for a quiet experience. Hotel breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. We will definitely stay here again!

Pros: Room & hotel were clean, except for laundry room which smelled damp. Cons: Breakfast, average, biscuits were hard and seemed old, could not eat. Room was noisy since it was facing the highway and a gas station. The basketball court was below our room and some young men started playing around 9 or 9:30 and the sound of the ball bouncing seemed like it was never going to stop, just as I was going to complain the boys quit playing, but this was at 10:30pm. I had to use the laundry room, washer worked find but the dryer excepted part of my change and than wouldn't work. The staff said it was probably full and I could wait until they could fix it in the morning, I told them my grandson needed his baseball clothes and I had to leave early so they called the sister hotel across the parking which I was able to use their laundry room which was clean and had newer machines, which I was thankful for but it was also inconvenient.

Arrived around 2:40am for a checkin on a prepaid reservation and the hotel had cancelled it because I hadn’t arrived, hotel never attempted to make contact prior to confirm. Took agent at desk about 40 mins to get me into a room after having to charge me a second time at a higher rate because it was “day use” whatever the heck that means. The customer service at this location is non-existent and I am very disappointed, Buyer Beware. Clerk was rude, argumentative and disrespectful with ZERO consideration for the customer and their needs. I stay at Hampton Inn frequently when traveling and have never had such a poor experience. I will definitely be considering other brands as I embark on a 10 night trip mid March, very doubtful I will be choosing Hampton Inn. What a joke!

I checked in to the Hampton Inn & Suites Lathrop on Wednesday evening, October 4, 2023. I was assigned Room 214. Upon settling down inside my hotel room, I realized there was no Wifi connection and thus no streaming capability through the TV. To make matters worse, there was no cell reception from my room. When I called the front desk that night, the concierge claimed that it was a city-wide Internet outage and that there was nothing that could be done. This made no sense, since the concierge computers seemed to be working just fine. Also, the woman who checked me in made no prior mention of an an Internet outage. The next day, October 5, I checked out on time. As I handed in my keys, I told the new concierge about my issue and that I was there for work (hence the need to connect to the Internet), and she said that she would relay the message to Daisy, the manager. I left my name, number, email address, room number, and a brief written statement. Daisy did not bother to contact me. Last night, October 11, I called the hotel and re-stated my issue. I asked, once again, that Daisy contact me. The concierge told me that Daisy would be in today starting at 9 AM. It has been a full week and still no reply. I find this to be extremely rude, lazy, and apathetic. Very unbecoming of a business that is supposed to specialize in hospitality. I have been a loyal patron of Hilton/Hampton Inn resorts for a long, long time. I think it’s time to reconsider said loyalty.

It was under renovation when I stayed, but that means when it’s done the hotel will be improved. It was kind of odd construction workers were still working at 8 pm, but they didn’t make much noise so all good. It’s a good exit to chose off I-5. The hotel is right next to the on and off ramps so it’s easy to get back on the road in the morning, but did not hear freeway traffic at all. Plenty of gas stations and restaurants right around the hotel. There’s a strip mall that has Sushi, Chinese, Mexican, and Pizza that is next door you can walk to. Great convenient location. The hotel room was comfortable and clean.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean and well appointed for a mid-tier girly and it includes breakfast. While it’s close (and convenient to I-5) it’s well insulated and quiet. This is our 3rd stay at this hotel and the remodeling done recently makes it an even nicer location!

This was second time staying at this location. Chose because it is convenient access to highway. Breakfast included is an added bonus which makes it an affordable hotel. Recently remodeled made it even more appealing. Very attentive staff.
