Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Monterey Beachfront-Marina, CA

Great Location and Secure Parking, but Disappointing Stay I wanted to love this hotel because the location is fantastic and the parking felt very safe and secure. Unfortunately, the room conditions, noise, and absolute lack of cleanliness made it nowhere near worth the price we paid. When I checked in, the door to my room wouldn't close or lock properly; I had to rely entirely on the metal pull latch just to feel somewhat secure. The noise levels were also terrible—the walls and ceilings are paper-thin, so I could constantly hear other guests talking and footsteps loudly pounding from above. The overall cleanliness was just as bad: both the floors and the ceiling in my room were filthy, and the pool outside was completely neglected and filled with green algae. To make matters worse, the shampoo dispensers were empty, the showerhead was awful, and breakfast featured incredibly runny eggs. For the amount of money they charge, you expect basic safety, peace, and cleanliness. I wouldn't stay here again.

The room is was clean. But there was no towels and toilet tank lid was cracked. The front door was missing weather striping. Can see through.

For the price we paid it was a good stay. Breakfast was decent and easy access. The exterior was clean, spa needs a bit of attention lots of debris inside water. The rooms were a bit dirty, brought my own Clorox wipes to wipe down desk areas. Fridge had dead baby roach inside and bathroom needs to be cleaned better.

The hotel was run down, trash everywhere and the rooms were disgustingly dirty. There was hair all over the bay and the floor was so dirty my socks turned black No phone to even call downstairs since there was only one towel in the bathroom. When I did go to the front desk there was no one to be found. Truly disgusting and disappointing

The room was nice just very small. The beds were uncomfortable. Overall it was budget friendly.
