The staff were pleasant and helpful. She also got me a quieter room when I asked for a room change. The room was clean and comfortable. There weren't enough parking spaces on the hotel site. As a woman traveling alone and arriving after dark, I had to find street parking. I circled around for many blocks several times till I finally found a space across 4 lanes of traffic from the hotel. This didn't feel as safe as parking within the hotel lot.

This property was very clean and let us check in early. The gym was out of service but other wise everything was well maintained. Our door wouldn’t latch shut unless you pushed it fully closed but that was a little quirk that was not a safety issue overall. I would stay here again

One of the few hotels in the area that had a room big enough, most others would have been 2 rooms. Room was clean & comfortable. Stayed here in the past & would definitely recommend. The only downfall would be the parking, I had to park across the street one night.

There was a sewer smell in the bathroom so we asked to be moved. The next room we were assigned had a strange odor smell, chemicals. Beds were comfortable but the noise from the street was like a freeway. Great price. Good for an inexpensive one night stay.

We usually stay here when visiting my daughter, she goes to school in Monterey, but this last stay was not our best experience. There was a dirty handprint on the white bed comforter and other "debris" on the pillows. That was disappointing. All night long we heard stomping and running around from the room above us. Literally didn't stop till around 2 am. If we stay again, we will definitely request the 3rd floor.

Front desk person was really helpful, the room is okay even the bathroom but quiet dissappointed about the cleanliness of the room coz we can tell that the carpet not vacuum well and the beds are not tidy enough then going to the bathroom the dirty towels are just folded instead of change it for new ones at least 2 of bath towels and 2 hand towels are all dirty.

Internet sucks. Doesn’t reach all the rooms. But there are a couple dining choices right across the street and the usual fast food and coffee places not far. The bed was comfy. Shower isn’t ideal, cold then too hot so I would wait a minute to get in, but fine water pressure. Available parking for no extra charge is good. Cleanliness is better than most other hotels nearby. Walls are not paper thin like many local alternatives. Felt safe. Overall this hotel isn’t amazing but it’s probably the best of the affordable local options.

Communication needs to improve. The first lady who assited us was nice but did not understand what we needed. The guy who helped at check out was rude. We had originally booked two rooms under mt name and needed to transfer one of them onto my sisters room, the lady who asissted us said she took care of it and at check out we come to find out she never did. And now my sister has 3 charges on her account. They just complicated everything and now we have to wait to contact our banks to verify the charges.

Great experience! Thankful to the staff for assisting us with our concerns during our stay. Very professional, timely and kind. Our suite was perfect size for our family stay. Area is walking distance to stores and restaurants. My dad enjoyed the coffee station and gym as well.

We were only about a little over an hour early to check in and we had a baby and the room was ready and they still wanted to charge us the $30 check-in fee. I find that ridiculous. I understand if it wasn’t, but the room was clean and ready.

Check in and out was so simple. I uploaded my ID. I had a late check in which I notified the property. When I arrived they recognized me from my ID and had everything ready so check in was less than a minute. Extremely fast. This was our second time staying here while we visit Monterey as a family. It’s only about a ten minute drive to a Cannery Row. The rooms are big and comfortable and clean. Starbucks, food and shopping are nearby if you need anything. This hotel serves our purpose well for a nice place to sleep for a good price.

This was a great place to stay - away from heavy tourist areas but a close 10 min drive to Cannery Row. Recently renovated and very clean room and bathroom. The complimentary coffee machine in the lobby was awesome - lots of choices! Lots of easy parking and close walk to a few dining options and shopping. We'll be back!

Great for the price. Already booked our next stay here. The beds were comfortable king sized beds and rooms were very spacious. Our room and bathroom were really clean. The coffee maker in the room wasn’t the best (not k cups) but they have a really great coffee (with reg coffee, cappuccinos, lattes etc.) and flavored soda water machines in the lobby. The only things we missed were that there isn’t a pool or breakfast but the savings in the price per night more than make up for the lack of those amenities.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We selected it because they had rooms that could accommodate our larger family. It is a bit farther away from the beach than we would like but it was a nice location for accessing everything. We generally like staying where we have benefits like a free breakfast. This hotel does not have that but does have free juice and a fancy coffee machine in the lobby.

My family absolutely loved this hotel! They don’t serve food but they have an amazing espresso/ hot chocolate machine and a juice/water machine that’s accessible 24/7. The manager and staff were so nice and welcoming, the hotel itself was also very clean! The bed and pillows were also comfortable, we plan to come back!

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only thing is their ice machines were not working. But the had a great selection of coffee's and hot chocolate. Would definitely stay here again.
