Hotel Xola

I booked one night, I was looking forward to using the pool but we couldn't use it because it was dirty, disgusting. The page never warned about that. My family and I decided not to spend the night there because she disgusted us.

Pool was not available the whole stay. Had to switch rooms since there were several repairs that were needed in the first room. Staff was kind and accommodating.

Room is clean. The pool looks dirty. Gym is close

Stay was good, clean room, only issue was ice machine didn’t work again. Was our second time there, last time about year and half ago, ice machines were down as well. We didn’t use the pool so no review there. For what it was meant for( to sleep only) was priced good. Sure we will stay there again next time we are in area.

Elevator did not work. Pool was in horrible condition-the water was green and muddy. Out of service too

This hotel has a serious homelessness problem. The hotel shut down the pool, the gym, the back exit doors, the ice machines to deter homeless. Prison style breakfasts. All the good reviews are fake. If you’re looking for a piece of mind during your vacation, pay more and book some where else.

Ice machine did not work on multiple floors... had to get ice from the first floor.

When we arrived, we had a long wait to check in. The weather was 90+, very hot, the first thing we wanted was the pool. The pump is "broken". Apparently its been broken for months, nobody is coming to fix it. The room was a bit run down, but not horrible. The noise was loud, kids running in the halls and up stairs above us. Man coughing loudly at all hours of the night next door. Very thin walls. The "breakfast" if you can call it that, is ridiculous. Pre-packaged items, OK, that's fine, but there is a "breakfast monitor" with a check-off list, watching every item you take and keeping you to a minimum. They literally complain if they think you are taking too much. Unbelievable. Needless to say, we wont be back. Stay at La Quinta down the street, its lovely.

Neglected ? No towels , no phone to front desk. Dead roaches on the floor. No bottled water for purchase anywhere on the property. Other than that not too bad

The stay was ok. Rooms are abit outdated. Towels and blankets are abit rough maybe time for new ones. I did see 1 cockroach in the bathroom that I tried to kill but it got away from me. I had to keep my luggage zipped up so I wouldnt take any of them home. Breakfast was ok a simple muffin coffee juice and an apple.

We had to change rooms because the first room smelled a lot to smoke. The room looked damaged and not so clean. The second room was not so clean walls seemed like they had blood.

Very dirty, stained mattress, dust particles coming out of vents, broken molding with built-up dust, very unsanitary.

There was hair on the beds. Bugs in the bathroom and stains on towels. Checked out 20minutes after arriving.

Staff did not inform me of the continental breakfast, that the only working ice machine was on the first floor (my room was on the 3rd floor), that the phones in the room did not work, nor did they tell me the password for the internet. There wasn't an ice bucket in the room and when I asked for one, the staff told me they home they can find one. Well, they did, but I had to go down the first floor to get ice! My daughter had gone with me to check into the hotel. While there, my daughter used the bathroom, when she came out, she said there was a hair on the toilet! The continental breakfast was a joke. You are not allowed to get your own food. They have someone there that asks your room number and last name. She then proceeds to put food in a brown paper bag. I asked for more food and she responded saying "There is only one person in your room." She still gave me what I asked for, but what a nuisance! The worst was the live cockroach in the bathtub!!! When I checked out, I thought I would be asked how my stay was. I was prepared to say I would NEVER stay there again and would NOT recommend the hotel. But, I was never asked, I guess they knew I would give a negative response. The walls in the room were peeling and the ceiling tiles were cracked. There were NO black out curtains!! They only had sheer curtains that let all the light in from outside!!

The room was absolutely disgusting the bed sheets were stained and covered in hair so we requested another room upon which the staff were extremely disrespectful and told us to leave if we don’t like it. We were given a new room which was equally disgusting and there were roaches. We were exhausted and didn’t feel like fighting anymore so we just asked for new sheets but the staff claimed they didn’t have any extra and didn’t have a key to the storage closet with the extra sheets. We ended up booking another hotel and couldn’t get a refund.

I did appreciate the quality of the in room shampoo/body wash and lotion. For whatever reason, both rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom were soaking wet. The room smelled musty, and it could be because there seemed to have been water damage in the ceiling. Paint peeling off the walls because of that I suspect. The ceiling tiles look to have been affected. The vents in the rooms could use a dusting for/cleaning. The immediate area seemed to be fairly safe, but there were quite a lot of people hanging around outside. At any given time. But I did not feel “unsafe“. The staff was quite nice. And I did not want room service/maid service so I cannot comment on that.

The hotel was close to March Air Force Base Beds were comfortable. The Diner next door was EXCELLENT! Hotel itself needs some updating: Wall paper peeling, mold on the bathroom ceiling

This is a totally adequate hotel for a one or two night stay. The hallways smell like they’re trying to cover former smoke smell, but the rooms don’t smell. The rooms are surprisingly quiet even though the hotel is right next to the freeway. You will still hear some loud motorcycles or trailer trucks so if you’re super sensitive to sound, get a room away from the freeway. Overall, Hotel Xola offers a good value.

A basic motel next to the freeway. Quite a lot of traffic noise but overall, reasonable value for money but not exceptional in any way.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, Friendly staff, OK neighborhood, breakfast very limited.

Staff was excellent, but there is a need for an update to the rooms.

They gave me the very last room on the 1st floor, next to back door and freeway. Didn't get much sleep. Too noisy.

Hotel Xola is a good value for what you pay. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is amazing and professional. Plus it’s right next too the bowling alley, a diner, and other food places within walking distance. I feel this hotel has a lot to offer and is convenient. I will definitely be staying here again.

The room was big and the bed was comfortable but the glass closet mirror had a huge crack through it, the tv had minimal channels, there was no dark curtains so it was extremely bright in the morning but the worse part was the sensor light that turned on everytime i moved in bed and woke me up. Could have just been that room though.

Hotel needs a major make over. no vending machines or ice on any floor. The furniture in room was beaten up and paint was peeling off the walls in main room and bathroom. Was a quiet hotel though.

The hotel stay was decent. The lovely woman at the front desk is extremely friendly and happy to help out. Our room was good. The bed was comfortable. I will say the only thing that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars was the fact that I could hear people walking as if they were in the room. The full on lack of sound deafening kept me up through out the night because for some reason people decided to run around the hallways at like 5am.

Huge shout out to Shannon and the entire team! We love this property and stay here as often as we can! Highly recommend for a budget friendly but lovely stay!

We were looking for an expensive one night stay for a family. When we got to the hotel, the desk was unmanned for a half hour. We went to grab some dinner, when we got back there were othera checking in and people loitering outside the hotel. We checked in and went to check the rooms. One smelled of marijuana and one of mildew. We did not stay as when we went out to move the car closer to our rooms felt like the loiters were casing us.

Staff was really friendly.

This hotel was a good value for what you get, it was half the price of the Marriott I stayed in the previous night in that same area and a little bit nicer. Front desk clerks definitely need some customer service training. Not friendly in the least.. when I checked in the clown behind the counter stopped helping me at least five times to go do something else, total check-in time was probably 25 minutes.

Check in was stressful from the get go. I am a veteran and brought my service dog and the worker literally argued with me about charges and I stated it’s covered by the ADA and he just said “I just work here and that’s our policy” I said that’s illegal and he went on to proceed to tell me after he wouldn’t charge me so I can talk to the manager about it the next day. Literally checked my bank account and the charges were already pending. The room was not clean, bedding had stains, walls were peeling off, pretty sure there was a blood stain on the curtains. Only reason they aren’t getting a 1 star was because this morning the front desk lady took care of the charges for me

The staff very nice, but corporate needs to change rule of you have to ask for your room to be cleaned. Never in my travel have I had to ask for someone to clean my room. Gone all day to come back to a room with no clean towels no cleaned sheets and no trash empty. Then I couldn't even get clean towels to wash up with not happy at all.

The lady at the desk was very nice to us and very understanding and considerate. Switched our rooms when the sink in our bathroom didn't work. You might think that's generic service. I know there's hotels out there that wouldn't switch our rooms as quick as she did. She made our experience all more better. Thankful and grateful!😌

Courteous staff, respectful, and very helpful

we waited 45 min to check in, there was a long line, there was only one person in the check in desk at 3pm (check in time). The bathrooms in the lobby were locked, they would not let us use them. We had to go the the bathroom on the restaurant in the front building (while we waited to get checked in). Once in the room, we tried to call the front desk and house keeping, they never answered. i went downstairs to ask for non- feather pillows (I am allergic to feathers) , they said they didnt have any other kind (and i had to wait in a line for that too). In the morning, we waited in another line to get "breakfast", we had to give our room # ( they then checked a long list), then we got a brown bag (choices: bagel, fruit, oatmeal, or a juice). on the positive side, the room was clean.

Older hotel with signs of needed repairs. Clean beds and bathrooms. Shared parking lot with a bowling alley and restaurant. Breakfast provided was continental in a bag. In desperate need of upgrade.

Hotel was ok, the area is not great. There was a homeless guy sitting right outside the front door and then he was inside the hotel walking the halls. Pool and gym supposedly out of service. Sign on elevator door said they are short staffed so don’t expect room service. Hotel shares parking with Bowlero, the people hanging out in the parking lots looked very shady. We checked in at 3pm and checked out before 10PM. If this is your only choice rethink it.

The hotel location was convenient for me and the price was favorable. The check-in process didn't take long and check-out was simple too. The room was comfortable. The reason I couldn't give a 5 was that I was not that satisfied with the outdoor environment. There were always people smoking by the entrance. The breakfast was simple and limited. Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive but not that bad place to stay, Xola could be a good choice.

Convenient to the freeway, but "shady"looking characters hanging around the property at night. Room was ok, clean, but had some damages that needed repair. I took photos and notified the desk clerk, not wanting to be charged for the already existing damages. Pool & spa were closed, door to outside was broken and propped open.

Good price, convenient location. Very serviceable. Room was advertised as smoke free, on arrival stank like some and had cigarette butts in the windowsill. Management offered another room, but I declined seeing I was only there for one night.

Shannon great. Room comfortable. Big Unused cabinet in the room? No telephone. Sign stated ice and vending machines, no vending machine. At night, very dark, area around outside entrance on east side under staircase?? Not good. I was alerted by sheriff to be careful, not safe.

There was only 1 face cloth in the bathroom. The drying towels were thin and small...Oru window was right next to the freeway, very noisy... Lastly there was only coffee and apple's for breakfast.

It was ok had to move my room!! Wish we would get a real breakfast not the scraps they give us lately. When I first arrived you get a jimmy dean breakfast sandwich, or waffle, oatmeal, muffin, or bagel plus a apple or orange for fruit, and apple orange or cranberry juice now we only get a bagel juice or yogurt plus a apple or orange. I was happy with variety but to be Leveling to none you really aren’t giving your guest with multiple food palettes options. We couldn’t even get oatmeal they ran out. This hotel is always full and having parties left and right so I’m trying to understand why we are getting less and less food options it’s literally included online and says unlimited breakfast. That it is not. This is not ok. I’d say my favorite thing about this place though is your front desk!! Always so polite and helpful. Also if someone has been here for at least 7 days you should send someone up the 7th day to at least clean the room. It should be mandatory.

None of the outlets in the bathroom worked and the bathroom light would go off mid shower. Breakfast is underwhelming. Still operating like it’s COVID

Property is in great need of updating carpets are stained and dirt. paint chipping, wall paper coming off. Etc The grab and go breakfast was so sad. And the lady wanted to limit what we had. Or an orange or apple , not both. No protein all. Very disappointing.

Breakfast was the most minimum ever. Serve only allows one tiny choice of "breakfast" item. Pours milk only once and its less than cafeter food. They hid their tea bags, no toast, not like any other basic breakfast you get at every motel with the waffle maker and unlimited cereal. Room was new and best shower ever had.

they did not have an ava0ilable handicap room. Staff was excellent. Very little breakfast options.

Never go to this hotel for life. Don’t believe on their breakfast it’s not a buffet like other hotels you have show all you identity and you get one apple , one small cup juice , one Begal coffee for each person in queue. Dirty carpets , unworkable key cards ,smelly corridors etc.. I checkout the room my booking date ends booked in other hotel.
