Harbor Inn & Suites Oceanside

This place had broken window in the bathroom, furnitures had chips and cracks, walls had stain and light had rust an corrosion, most of the outlets in the room did not work. Only Lamar the checkin staff was friendly and professional. It was nothing as they advertised it on hotel.com website. I was disappointed and they charged so much for a dump, its like slum lord building.

Location is good, near the water. While the room was clean, the overall feel was rundown. Big cracks along the ceiling, poor patch jobs on the wall as well as some not patched areas. Really needs to be gutted and redone.

Very dated property. In need of interior makeover. Paint peeling, one grate was on the floor when I walked in. The drapes blocked the airflow from the a/c unit so the room didn't cool down. Sheets smelled musty. Had to leave early due to family emergency and was told no refunds, not even partial. Will definitely not be back here. Also had limited parking available.

The property is right next to interstate 5 which is 5 lanes both directions and heavy traffic day and night. I was fortunate to have brought earplugs. There was no one at the front office when I arrived at 8PM and I finally had to call the hotel to get someone to come out and give me my key. While the gentleman was quite kind, I have no idea why he had not answered the night call button.

The room was trashed The walls were broken The floors were lifting the shower has a camera pointed directly into the shower head The top of the shower is completely peeling off there's holes everywhere they also took a $170 charge on my card and overcharged me for my stay and are not releasing those funds if you have anywhere else you could stay stay there The shower pressure is so high that it is actually painful so in your sensitive areas be careful it's a warning lol only it's really not funny none of it was funny the staff was extremely aggressive lied about the charge that was put on my card said he only held $100 there was $120 that was taken from my card would not look at the fact that I had proof and I could show him what was taken off my card and what was being held Those funds have not been released he also overcharged me for my stay this day was $353 in total with tax he charged me over $400 be careful he's also aggressive will not listen will not look at your proof and will not actually help you. Good luck getting a hold of anybody on that phone because they do not answer it I've been trying to get my funds released all day.
