We really enjoyed our stay here. The days inn was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the beach and a pool. Down side was the hot tub was out of order and there is a smoking area right by the pool so it smelled pretty bad when my kids were swimming. The front desk manager was so helpful and kind. Our son lost his phone that fell out of our car while checking in. She called everyone who had kids at the hotel to try and find the owner. So thankful she took the time to help. We will be staying there again.

Parking is tight up front but additional spaces in the back. All staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We weren't happy with one of the beds sheets, the cleaning lady swapped them out for us no problem. We were provided additional towels and wash clothes with no hassle. The water pressure in the shower is good. The pool area was clean, though on our second night the spa was cold. Easy access to the walking path leading to the marina. Try as we might - we were unable to connect to the free wifi. With small kids in tow this was kind of a deal breaker. We are planning another trip to Oceanside in about a month and plan to stay elsewhere in the marina so we can have easier access to wifi.

Pros: Clean, short walk to Harbor, plenty of parking. Cons: Terrible Wi-Fi, no extra blankets or pillows, and they lock the gate to Harbor very early—EVEN THOUGH IT NEEDS A HOTEL KEY! Super annoying.

Great location to Oside harbor swimming and shopping. The pool was great and the view was perfect. Walk to harbor and beach. Mile walk to OC pier and the strand. Plenty of parking and housekeeping was thorough. Will stay again!

Stay here frequently. Close to everything and walkable to the Harbor and Marina with shops & restaurants galore. Pool & Hot tub overlook the Ocean. Just off the Hiway but no noise to speak of. Will stay again.

I’ve stayed here multiple times cause of soccer I aways had good times never had issues but this last time the pool was dirty disgusting they didn’t clean it not only the front desk girl when we asked for towels she made a big deal outta of it but other then that you can’t go wrong with this hotel

For the price this was good. Hot tub was dirty and green color. Gate coming back into hotel from the harbor was locked when we came back from dinner which was an inconvenience. There was also some fighting going on late night. It's Oceanside but I would expect the hotel to know what's going on on their property. Probably would stay at the Holiday Inn or Best Western next time

Room was clean. The addition of a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in other than having to sit on the bed would be good. Also, the bottom support frame of the bed is thing metal and makes a loud noise if you accidently hit it with your foot.

Pool and hot tub were closed which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Parking was very challenging. Would try a different hotel next time.

I liked that despite the property location it still was fairly quiet and it felt safe. The bathroom was clean and the amenities were fine, nice fridge and microwave. The floors were dirty though and the breakfast situation was sub-par. The air conditioner unit was loud as well so light sleeper beware or bring earplugs if it is a warm night. I would advise people travelling and planning to stay in this area to maybe look at newer places to the east, I regret not researching area better before selecting this property.

I loved this hotel! It’s in a great location and we were able to walk to the pier and the beach for a little family activity. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only hold up was the floor in the hotel room. We were walking around barefoot on the floor and our feet got soooo dirty. Other than that everything was great

The motel is not what we expected paying over $200.00 a night. No grab bars in shower, bathtub dirty, sheets had a strange Oder , not clean, floor was filthy the entire stay. After showering and walking barefoot our feet were dirty. Pool was yellow with algae as was the “hot tub”. Pool furniture was old and ripped and the rattan had holes in most of the furniture. Walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors party until 2 am. They would not let us go into their “ cafe” to get our own coffee. We had to stand at a table in front of the cafe and the front desk clerk made our coffee and took our orders. This was their advertised “ free breakfast” It was very awkward. Tv remote could not be used from the bed. We had to get up close to the TV and change channels to point the remote to change. Trash was strewn all over the parking lot and rubbish bins in pool area were overflowing. Rubbish bins near front of motel were overflowing also. The night we checked in, 7/12 the night clerk was exceptional. She was the highlight of our stay.

Place is nice to stay, cuz it’s near the beach. What I was very disappointed in was that the sheets on our beds were dirty. They had debri and hair on the sheets. I asked for clean sheets and they gave me clean ones. The room was okay but lots of dead bugs on the floor and had to kill two big spiders. That is why I gave them a 4.

The walls were very thin! We had to use ear plugs AND white noise to be able to sleep. Besides that it was clean and comfortable and basic and as expected. The location was within an easy walk of the beach and the harbor which was excellent.

My son and I stayed for 2 nights. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds facing the pool. Loved our view of the ocean. The room was spacious and clean. Really liked having a fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly and helpful with checkin/checkout and any questions we had. Would recommend and will book again here in the future.

So close to the beach! We could see the ocean from our room. The room was spacious and clean! The staff was helpful and called us when the laundry room was available so we did not have to wait. There was plenty and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was essential coming back from the beach both days. The beds were comfortable and the AC was great. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Oceanside each year.

The proximity to the beach is great! They have a path that leads to the Oceanside Harbor. However, the hotel is in a noisy location with a train and highway. Since the walls are very thin I could hear everything, including my neighbors conversations. Great place for a short stay to save money!

I have stayed at this place multiple times because, although it's not in the best area, the rooms are clean and spacious. The backside has a view of the ocean and a path down to the harbor. It's easy access to the freeway, the pier, downtown and more. The pool area also overlooks the harbor, but needs a bit of updating on the poolside furniture. Generally when I stay here the staff is very pleasant. Unfortunately this time the lady that was working the desk was extremely rude and condescending. I had to visit her twice during my stay and she was worse the second time. She was very bothered by having to work at work and was not one bit pleasant to the point I almost asked for my money back to go stay somewhere else. I have not been treated that poorly from any place ever. It was very uncomfortable to be treated this way. I'm trying to look at the fact that this is the only time it has happened there that the staff was rude, and may possibly stay there again, but I'm sure she has turned people away with her attitude of wanting to stay there.

The young lady at the counter was not very helpful or polite. She did not seem to enjoy her job, and was not very welcoming or accommodating. We had a wedding to be at at four and were told we couldn’t check in until three. But when we told her that we had the wedding, she said we could check in at two. We showed up at 1:45 to find half the parking lot full of people that had already checked in before 2 o’clock. in addition, in the morning, coffee and pastries are provided but we were not able to help ourselves. She had to go back and pour our coffee and get the pastries for us. This seems ridiculous to me, since we are well past the caution taken during the Covid years. The price of the hotel was reasonable and we needed to be there because of the location. But if given a choice, I would not stay there again.

Out of all the hotels in the immediate area, this one I would guess is the best choice because it is farthest from I-5. The rooms are clean and have no carpet which is nice. Bed comfortable. Staff pleasant. Can walk 3 minutes to Mobil convenience store and Denny's. Beware breakfast is just a packaged cheap raisin roll. Coffee is good though. If you are on the backside it is quite pleasant and quiet---except when you have an adjoining door to the room next door. You hear absolutely everything that your neighbor says (and does) and vice versa. So be aware. I would recommend the hotel install heavier connecting doors to soundproof more between rooms. The best part is the quick walking path to the harbor. This made it easy to go have several meals at the harbor and even pick up food. I did not see homeless or drug addicts around, although it isn't the most upscale of areas by any stretch. I felt safe enough. Overall a nice stay and good value for the area.

Loved how close it was to the beach and the marina (10-15 minutes). Everything was in walking distance. The train runs through the back of the property, and I thought that would be an issue, but I really did not hear it. Breakfast was VERY basic, cold cereal, previously frozen Danish's, bread for toast (except the last day when they were out), oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and juice. Breakfast options, or lack of, would be the only complaint I had.

Admittedly I was nervous about staying at Days Inn because I've experienced some not so good rooms at Days Inn in other cities. I chose Days Inn in Oceanside because of the nightly rate offered on hotels.com and the reviews by other customers seemed encouraging. Check in was good. Our room was quiet, a nice size, and clean. Loved how close it was to the Harbor, and Oceanside Pier was only about a 5 minute drive and it was close to Camp Pendleton. My husband I will definitely stay here again next time we go to Oceanside. I would recommend Days Inn Oceanside for those who are looking for a reasonably priced accomodation and convenience of location. The only bad thing I have to say is the breakfast area needs a definite upgrade. Not very well stocked at all. The small refrigerator wasn't cold enough for the dairy products and the one time I took a container of yogurt out, it tasted sour, even though the freshness date was good. No milk available for cold cereal. There is a Denny's close by the hotel if one is seeking a better breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable but we had to be careful in sitting on the beds. No locks on the wheels. The beds kept rolling across the room. Disappointed in the breakfast. Thought it was continental breakfast. Instead coffee, juice, danish or muffin. Nothing healthy for a 3 year old or a diabetic.

Oceanside has lots of hotels, but this one is inexpensive and we walk distance of restaurants and the beach. They have a very light breakfast with mainly cereals, fruits and yogurt. What you really need.

The property is definitely older but ok. The breakfast was literally continental and no frills whatsoever. Yogurt (flavored.sweetened) and peanut butter were the only protein choices which for a diabetic doesn’t leave many options first thing in the morning. Only cold drinks was juice. The walk to the beach/distance is for people who are in shape. Not for older, out of shape folks. But it is very convenient to get to the parking area at the harbor. Stairs also if your room is a king

The Days Inn in Oceanside is average. The “FREE BREAKFAST” they advertise is s small room with few tables. The food is cereal, oatmeal, muffins, danishes, fruit and juice, coffee. No eggs, bacon, sausage or waffles. They had a kids soccer team there that attacked the food like locusts on a corn field. Took awhile to replenish the few items there.
