I loved the outside seating areas, and the wine & beer bar. All the staff was very friendly!

Look, this hotel isnt meant to be The Ritz, but for its price range and proximity to Stanford, it was great. Loved the outdoor space, the staff was excellent, and there is a Starbucks & donut shop 2 min away. Also the work out room was more than adequate- everything felt news

I had such a great day here! I arrived super early in the morning and they were able to get me such an early check-in. On top of that they had charging on property for my car. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely come again

Quiet and clean

When we first got there it was pretty good. When we entered the room at first glance, it seemed pretty clean but the rooms don't necessarily look like in the pictures. After looking around we noticed the bed was ripped, pillow cases were stained, and the box spring had dried blood on it. The first night we bought beer from the front desk we went back to the room and noticed the rims were very rusted. No hand soap whatsoever so we had to use facial soap. Considered staying one more night but came to the decision that it wasn't worth the price. When we told the last employee at check out that the beers were rusty when he charged the tab he just looked at us and didn't say anything. Location and parking lot was quiet and calm.

The morning of July 27 me and my girlfriend woke to crazy amount of ants all over the ceiling and all over our food. I’m sure not all rooms were affected but this had to be the worst experience. Never going back

There were bugs in the bathroom of our first room so we were moved. It was late so we went to sleep. This morning I noticed a few bugs in the new room. We were in a rush do I only took a picture of two small dead bugs by the door,

It was a pleasant surprise that they had breakfast in the morning. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the landscaping was beautiful.

The rooms were very modern and clean.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Very nice location and staff. They offer wine tasting and a nice patio area with outdoor fireplace and comfortable seating. The only issue is there was a small infestation of ants in our room and bathroom - which was on the ground floor. The receptionist said that they regularly sprayed for ants - however we think the ground floor rooms should be regularly checked before guests arrive. And that the ant service schedule is continued on a regular basis. The hotel receptionist did change us to an upstairs room and there were not ants in that room.

The hotel room was ok. A bit too dim in the room. Cleanliness was ok other than some dead bugs in the bathroom ceiling. There’s almost no noise cancellation I could hear the next room over talking. In the early mornings one of the families had their kids out and about playing too loud and no staff couldn’t at least told them to quiet down… The service was friendly but could do better on maintaining some privacy from sounds from neighboring rooms.

Reminds me of a boutique hotel! It doesn’t have the generic run of the mill vibe from other hotel rooms. Love the fireplace outside with comfy couches and seats. My fam and I hung out there and had our wine. Our room was pretty small though. Wish there was a fridge! Overall- we will come back.

The room insulation was poor, and I could hear noise throughout the night during my last stay at the hotel.

Very nice hotel. we love modern, which this is. MUCH nicer than the hotels near by, which we have certainly tried, so we are happy to find this place. Rooms are a little small, but then the price is worth it. Only real complaint is that they should give guests instructions on how to use the thermostat. That was very frustrating. We will come back.

Room was very tight. Had limited space to put bags, etc. sliding room to bathroom would not stay closed.

It is a cute property. However, the walls are thin! We stayed on the first floor and could hear the people above us walking around and in the bathroom. It woke us up.

Room was so empty and sterile. Not inviting at all. It was also loud. Did the trick but won’t stay here next business trip

Room was phenomenal. It was cheap, room was modern and comfortable. It is a motel style establishment but an extremely good one. The bathroom lighting and shower was the best out of all the places on our recent trip (10+ hotels).

I liked it, but it lacked basic amenities like a fridge, ice machine. Small room and I could hear my neighbors. I would stay here again but hopefully they offer more.

It was a nice room except the lighting could have been better in the 1 bedroom suite in the sitting area and you have to request a refrigerator. Also there was no streaming to the TVs only Directv cable access. A little disappointed.

The staff, particularly Fernanda, was very helpful. My son checked in and had been having trouble sleeping, so I asked for a late checkout. Or maybe to extend his stay if he was still sleeping. Fernanda offered to check at late checkout and let me know, so I could pay for another night if need me. Turns out my son got up and checked out. Fernanda called me anyway to let me know. That was all above and beyond. I am grateful!

On January 19th, the last evening of my stay I walked to the front desk and requested a late check out at 1 pm, stating I was going to sleep in as I was very tired and had not caught up on my sleep. I was planning to sleep in til noon then leave by 1pm. However, around 8am on January 20 the cleaning crew started knocking at my door and would not leave. I had to ask them to leave 3 times. As soon as they left, the room phone started ringing. So, unable to sleep at that point as it was around 8:30am I got up took a shower, packed my bags and went to the front desk to check out and told them I was checking out early because the hotel cleaning crew banged on my door relentlessly around 8 am and you subsequently rang my room phone. This cause me to lose my sleep. The person at the front desk said that another guest checked out stating their room number was 213 (my room number) and that's why they sent the cleaning crew to my room. I responded stating that they should have checked the person's name against the room number and that it is their job to do so. I was a zombie the entire last day of my trip and had to cancel my hiking plans as I was sleepless. I also felt sick by the evening and had a terrible day. I was to catch a red eye back east so missing on sleeping in really damaged my health. I asked for a refund of at least the last night's bill but was refused by the front desk person.

Staff was amazing

Grounds were clean and safe. Would definitely stay here again. Had an issue with the original room still having trash from prior guest. Notified Front desk, they immediately got us a new room and were helpful about the situation. Second room was clean and maintain the original accommodation, which was the larger suite. We felt happy about the speed and professionalism.

Appreciated the great customer service from staff, very clean room and amenities. I definitely recommend this place, and will return to stay again!

I arrived the motel/hotel about 2, met with friends and came back to the room to watched the raider game which was interrupted several times, as the tv was not working and missed the entire game. I called the front desk twice. The person they sent to the room was a random guy with a sleeveless tank, shorts and looked like house shoes. He spoke no English & it was hard to communicate and could not identify this person. Creepy letting this person in my room as a single female traveler. He took the tv off the wall did something, gave a thumbs up & left. 5 minutes later, it went out again. After bringing it to the attention of Fernandez at the front desk, the following day, she agreed to move me to compensated upgrade to a “king suite” after going back & forth they did not honor this & put me in a room exactly like the one I just moved out of. The different woman that came to the room stated they didn’t have a suite & the tv works in this room. Completely ignored the point of the inconvenience of the move as I was getting ready for a wedding. At this point I could have stayed put, as I didn’t need a tv as I was out of the room all day. Bottom line they were negligent in honoring what they were supposed to do to make up for no tv & never acknowledged my time, gave me a deadline of 12p to make up my mind about switching rooms, so I have to rush to get ready for the wedding & pack & move. Very stressful. Needless to say, I won’t return to this motel/hotel.

Friendly staff, decent free breakfast, clean rooms. Only negative is the shower noise that comes through the walls.

Room was great staff was great. Limited food or snacks. Very limited bar.

We chose this hotel because the Continental breakfast was included (advertised with fresh bread and pastries) BUT the breakfast was limited to plastic wrapped bagel and muffins with OJ, apple and non fat yogurt. Really disappointed!!! We had to find another place to have a breakfast.

The location of this property in Palo Alto is really good. The breakfast served in the office was OK, nothing special. But I will go back there on next visit to Palo Alto.
