Having a working AC is great!

The first room that I was assigned, we were not able to access. It was like the door was locked from inside. Even the clerk was not able to get into it with the screwdriver. When we did get to the room, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast could use some upgrades. It did have the waffle machine, no yogurt and some questionable eggs and potatoes. They could work on upgrading the breakfast, but the room was very quiet and comfortable as was as the shower. I’m staying a second night and would stay here again.

Staff was great even with confusion about booking with a pet. Hotel was clean and charming. Didn’t get a chance to go to pool or hot tub. We will book again .

The staff were not rude but not particularly kind nor helpful. When I asked to check out the person at the desk pointed at the key return box and said “Right there” she didn’t ask how my stay was, thank me for staying or even bother to look up and make eye contact. The room was clean but not well kept. There visible rust under the bathroom counter, the sink drain didn’t open, there were big scratches on the floor and a dark grey spot next to the smoke alarm that looked like a burn mark. Breakfast was ok.

This is my “go to” hotel when we come to Sacramento. Always have excellent service, rooms are clean and location is quiet. 100% recommend!
