Forest Suites Resort at the Heavenly Village

Unfortunately the photos on the book site do not truly look like the rooms. The hot tub Was dated, tiny and dirty. The site does not mention that the fire places do not generate heat and have an error message the whole time. The front desk staff was extremely passive aggressive and borderline rude. She wasn’t very clear about the directions of our room and when asked a second time for directions, she was very snarky. The breakfast was mediocre and cheap. For the price we paid, including parking- save yourself and just book Marriott or anywhere else for better service and overall experience. The only reason we stay is because we already paid and the room was surprisingly extremely clean. Outside of that, not worth the money especially if the front desk isn’t kind. The furnace is also extremely loud when it kicks on randomly at night and you can hear everything in the hallway

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was very spacious! Felt like a 1 bedroom apartment! The full kitchen with all the fixings was so nice; it made our stay feel like home away from home. Of all the places we've stayed in S. Lake Tahoe, this 1 is our favorite! We'll be back!

Breakfast was good. Sitting in lobby was nicest. Too busy in the breakfast seating and overflow bar area.
