Location location location makes this a great place to stay. Being on the beautiful beach at Lake Tahoe was wonderful...beautiful views out our window...and all rooms have this view. Liked the gas fireplace flickering & heating the room. Good location to start multiple hikes and activities around the lake too. This was clean & very comfortable. Nice pool & hot tub as well.

Rooms are comfortable, with a kind of a cabin theme. Older strip mall next door features a ramen joint, Mexican restaurant and cannabis shop if that's your thing. Large CVS drugstore and Heidi's pies also. Supermarket less than half a mile away. Short easy drive to stateline and all the shops and restaurants in between. Live music on the beach Thursday nights during the summer. Bring your own food and drink, and have a great time.

Great location with lake views from every room! The private beach is excellent- clean, large enough to accommodate everyone, and provided places for grilling, picknicking, playing volleyball, or just laying out. Staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I liked that it was right on the lake so the view was great. The TV was larger than expected. The onsite Elements Spa & Massage was great. I did not like how old the property is making it dark and cramped; no laundry onsite; no blender in the condo; seating for 4 to watch TV was not super comfortable; the pool & hot tub were not open. I'm not saying it was terrible - I just expected nicer but there are a lot of old places in Tahoe.

This is an older property but the rooms are well maintained, the beds are comfortable and most of all the view is amazing! It really is a lakefront property. You can literally see and hear the waves from your bed. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the view and the fire pit. We also used the fire pit to roast s'mores. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Jacuzzi was very hot which we enjoyed. The bathroom is tiny but there is a sink and vanity in the room.

The rooms were big, and had a great view of the lake! The staff are very nice and welcoming! BUT The lodge is old and noisy especially when you walk. We could not sleep because people on top floor were walking constantly in their room causing the wooden floor to creak. The carpet was dirty in the room and there’s no housekeeping during stay. Nothing in vicinity so you’re pretty much stuck in the room. would not stay there again!

Staff were friendly and nice. The view is worth a million dollars but the lodge is old. They need to update the property. Rooms are dated. Lighting is poor. Carpet feels dirty. But the bed sheets and towels are clean.

Was a great stay with a beautiful view. My boyfriend and I fully enjoyed ourselves. The only thing I noticed, which wasn’t really a big deal, was sand in the carpet that hadn’t been vacuumed from the previous guest. Otherwise, everything was great.

This was our second time staying and we loved it. Chose to stay in a condo this time since we were traveling with a larger group and it was exactly what we needed. Great price, clean and well outfitted room, and friendly staff. Plus the hot tub was great after a long day of skiing.

We loved that the back door leads right to the beach. It is a family friendly place and it was so nice to be able to let the kids right outside our room. The pool and hot tub was very nice and clean. Everyone is super friendly. It was very nice to have a kitchen in the room so we could save some money on food. The room got a little warm because there is no AC, but there were fans. The pillows were not very comfy, would definitely bring pillows.

The hotel was in a good location, the beach was nice and clean, and the pool was okay. However, the rooms themselves were DATED. I mean, they should have been upgraded 20 years ago. The towels and utilities were old, as were the bed sheets. The carpet reeked and was begging to be replaced. The staff was very nice and polite, but that couldn't make up for how poor the rooms were. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it.

Beautiful view of the lake. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Lack of insulation/sound proofing and active family above early in the AM - definitely interfered with my sleep. Overall good value.

Loved the ambiance, staff was super friendly, and the lake side view was amazing. It was rather cold and rainy when we were there so we couldn’t take advantage of everything but I know we’d enjoy it next time. Close proximity to a lot of shops and activities. We’ll be back!

Stayed here a few times never had any issues! And what’s better than a beautiful lake view and walking out your room back door right to the beach!? The only 3 star I gave was because the phone cord in the room was broken, and then eventually the toilet handle had issues. But other than that, super friendly and attentive staff and great location!

Great property with a private beach. Good resturants withing walking distance. The staff was helpful and responsive when we needed help moving rooms because the water heater wasnt working for our room.

Front desk staff are excellent because of their friendliness and service. They handled everything with professionalism and warmth. The condition of the condo was as clean as could be but it needs a complete renovation. Furniture old and worn so we didn’t want to sit on it. Bed was a bit too soft and the sheets were a bit scratchy. The view and location were prefect because the lake was outside our patio and restaurants within walking distance! Even CVS is in front of parking lot !!! Couldn’t ask for more! I hope they update the condos before we return.

Great location with lake views from every room! The private beach is excellent- clean, large enough to accommodate everyone, and provided places for grilling, picknicking, playing volleyball, or just laying out. Staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent lakeside location with fantastic sunset views. Heavenly Village is a 3min drive, as well as numerous restaurants & activities in all directions. We loved it!

This is our favorite property when visiting South Lake Tahoe and we've been here multiple times. It's right by the lake and every room has an incredible, breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains. The beach itself is fun to visit have have snowball fights or build snowman. The rooms are always clean and with a mini-kitchen, can be used to have hot breakfast or dinners when everyone doesn't feel like going out. We also love the location, which is walkable to the village and all the dining and shopping as well as a short drive to Heavenly.

Great property with a private beach. Good resturants withing walking distance. The staff was helpful and responsive when we needed help moving rooms because the water heater wasnt working for our room.

Property has beautiful views of the lake. Great location near CVS, Safeway, Breakfast. Lighting in room could use upgrading but the patios/balcony windows allow light in. Would definitely stay here again,

Location, location, location! Right on the beach. Literally. Sweeping views of Lake Tahoe. Outdoor amenities include picnic tables, barbecues, beach volleyball, fire pit and swimming pool. Rooms are comfortable, with a kind of a cabin theme. Older strip mall next door features a ramen joint, Mexican restaurant and cannabis shop if that's your thing. Large CVS drugstore and Heidi's pies also. Supermarket less than half a mile away. Short easy drive to stateline and all the shops and restaurants in between. Live music on the beach Thursday nights during the summer. Bring your own food and drink, and have a great time.

there is a Mexican restaurant in walkable distance which is good, this hotel is a bit away from heavenly ski resort, so the traffic was not bad around it while its close to the prime areas, private beach is good and well maintained I wish the bath area had a tap or movable shower, something like that , they only had a top shower which is hard to use if especially if you just want to wash off sand from your legs after coming from the beach, and the cold weather made it inconvenient, I wish they had coffee too. But its close to many restaurants nearby so there are a lot of food options.

First and foremost, the views from our room were absolutely incredible. This property sits right on the beach and has Lake views for miles. That said, the property is older, certainly not updated and you would need to stay on the third floor to avoid excessive floor creaking when people are walking around in the room above you. We were on the second floor and the noise from the floorboards above was so loud it woke us up,.. So loud in fact we actually recorded it to show to the staff. Worth the money? Probably. But third floor only.

Great old school 70’s feel property. This property is one of less than six that is right on the lake shore in South Lake Tahoe and has a private beach, pool, and hot tub.. The views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains are absolutely world-class. I will definitely stay at this property the next time I visit South Lake Tahoe.
