Fire alarm went off at 8 am "because of the rain" so don\'t stay here if it\'s wet out! Also, pool closed until further notice, gym was closed, and ice machine broken. I was eating breakfast and instead of letting me know they were closing down, staff just switched the lights off without saying a word wth.

There was an incredibly loud couple that checked in around 1 am, having an argument, and the front desk person immediately moved me to another room. I was grateful since I had a very long drive the next day and needed good sleep. I am perplexed why they started charging $12.00 a night for parking. Their parking lot has plenty of spaces and Hampton Inns usually don’t charge for parking. They didn’t used to charge for parking, but apparently started to and I wasn’t told that when I checked in and it wasn’t noted on Hotels.com. To charge people to park at a hotel is just ridiculous. It’s just another way to eke out more money from you. As much I liked staying there since there is plenty of dining options. with BJs right next door and you don’t have to drive to grab dinner, I’ll stay at another Hampton Inn location that doesn’t charge for parking.

Room was fine and up to usually Hampton Inn standards. My only issue was you have to pay for parking! This hotel is in an area where parking is NOT a problem. It is not like it is in the city. Stayed at 10,000 of hotels and never had to pay for parking in an location like this. This charge was not mentioned in the Hotels.Com website. Be aware for the extra $12 charge.

So we paid 170 for this place and it wasn’t ready upon check in . The room Was not vacuumed and hair all over shower and bathroom , bed skirt was all raggedy , comforter was dirty and curtain is filthy went to shower and no shampoo in despensor and went to desk to get shampoo and they had no shampoo left to give , office lady was very nice and she was new and she just couldn’t do anything about it but was very sweet. The pool smelled like pee and was so loud and there were no towels for pool . Asked for two more pillows and there were no pillows left . Super disappointed in this room and would have drove home but have tournaments tomorrow that we have to go to in the morning for our kids

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here at the Hampton Inn- Tracy. We felt very comfortable. The 24 hours coffee, tea or hot water at the lobby is great and so is the breakfast. We enjoyed everything! Until next time Hampton Inn. We highly recommend this hotel.

It was an old room that needed cleaning badly! There were marks all over the bathroom door and the fan was full of dust and dirt. The body wash was empty. No option to pay cash at the end of our stay, very disappointing would never stay there again!

I had my face bitten by bed bugs. I called them to let them know but they never called me back neither they answered my message I sent via Expedia. Staff were super nice. The hotel looked nice.

The bathroom was disgusting. All the towels were dirty or stained. The entire room just wasn’t clean. We could not let our baby crawl around. So all we did was sleep and eat breakfast, then leave.

The air conditioning in our room had a terrible odor when it was turned on, Smelled kind of moldy. Some of the front desk staff were kind of rude. Although there was a distinct young lady, who was very nice.

I have stayed at this property about a dozen times. The last few times I stayed I was put in rooms next to the ice machine, elevator, and most recently a handicapped room where the bathroom smells like it’s the indoor staff smoke break room. I have continued to stay here for the fast WiFi, even though they charge $5 extra for it. But after being charged a $15 parking fee for the first time at my last visit and a $25 early check in fee for arriving at 2PM instead of 3, I will not be returning. The fees were an annoyance, but overhearing the staff say, “I don’t recognize him as someone who has stayed here before and he’s only staying for one night, honestly we can put him in any room,” I’ll go elsewhere. The water pressure isn’t great, and the breakfast is bare minimum for a hotel. It feels kinda like a Motel 6. But most other hotels in Tracy are pretty scary to stay at, so I give them high marks for safety and fast wifi. But Holiday Inn has both better showers and better breakfast. It’s worth a few extra $ to stay over there.

I booked through Hotels.com a king bed. Arrived to find I was put in a room with 2 queens. Manager and front desk had no power to accommodate the screw up and all they did was pass the responsibility on the web site. Despite the fact I had a screenshot showing I booked a king and that the rep from Hotel.com tried calling I had to stick with the “cheaper” two bed booking. So here’s the real kick in the pants, they could see I ordered a king, got 2 queens because of the “site”, AND still they charged for the king! They cant recognize that I reserved a king bed but they can sure charge me more for it! Again blaming the web site despite knowing the mixup. NO POWER to help fix this blunder and passing the blame led to a VERY unaccommodating experience. I wouldn’t have been so upset if they charged for the two queens (cheaper). To make things worse they gave me a room next to the elevator! NOT QUIET OR PEACEFUL! Horrible situation for 1 night! All I wanted is ONE NIGHT with no dogs in the bed and a solid night’s sleep! If management can see the problem and do NOTHING to improve the situation YOU ARE SCREWED! It’s just a paycheck for them. They don’t care, they take NO initiative to keep this from happening and all they did offer was a suggestion to sign up for their “Membership package”. So infuriating. Oh and the Wi-Fi kept dropping to force you to consider paying for it or having to use your phone as a hotspot. My car would have been more convenient had I not wanted a shower.

Worst bed I ever slept In. Woke up with a backache.It was like sleeping on a board.Noisy at night with people talking loudly In the hallway at 11:30 through 2:30 AM Pillows were like q tips,too soft (Maybe to make up for the hard bed) Mix up at check In as I was told I didn't have a reservation. Took about 20 minutes to resolve.

Need more luggage rolling carts. One is not enough. Bathroom could be cleaner. Front desk lady was rude, when i asked about a extra luggage cart. And it was a bother to her for more towels.

Our first experience when we arrived 1 hour before check-in time was abrupt sland rude. The front desk person, Pritka, was not very friendly ir helpful.However, when we returned at check-in time, Kayla, the next front desk person, was incredibly engaging, polite and helpful. Also, the $12 self-parking is a rip-off. There is plenty of parking there.

A next door guest checked in late and was yelling at his wife at 1:30 AM. CJ the front desk clerk handled everything with professionalism and moved me to another room immediately. He is definitely a keeper and I hope he is promoted. He knows how to take care of guests.

We stayed there on my birthday. My wife and i went out to dinner and when we came back they had left a gift bag of goodies and a birthday card signed by all the employees that were working. This really helped make my night. So thoughtful and appreciated.

Front desk staff was rude and uncooperative. Expedia had to call them to fix a problem with the reservation and the front desk agent hung up on them in frustration. It was the worst check in experience ever. We left. Thankfully Expedia issued us a refund.

My go to and favorite is Hampton Inn. As for This Hampton Inn was perfect. Great location right off the I-205. It is nestled off the main road that has a BJ brewing restaurant right next door, and several choices for other places to eat in walking distance with the West Valley mall walking distance as well if someone likes shopping. As typical for Hampton Inns, it was quiet, comfortable beds, clean, darkening window shades, great A/C, fabulous shower soaps and conditioner, and friendly staff. I’m putting this one on my remember to stay again list.

Overall, we were greatly disappointed with the experience. We travel a lot and like to stay at Hampton Inn because of a certain level of quality we have learned to expect. This was far below par. The room was just ok. The bathroom had repairs that were evident to detract from the renovation work that was done to it. My fridge wasn’t working and had to have maintenance come fix it with a maybe it would work and if not we could use the employee fridge for my husband’s insulin since they couldn’t get us another one. The breakfast was not appetizing and don’t ask me how hard boiled eggs can go wrong. Overall, I’m scoring a 3 only because there were a couple of front desk clerks that were nice. Just disappointing

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns. This location had the room numbers falling in the hallways, my door damaged, may bathroom would not lock, the sink was such that anytime it was used you would have to mop up water on the counter. At breakfast I had to go to the front desk and ask for someone to refill almost everything. No waffle mix, no syrup, no sugar, no milk etc. I received a cold response as if I was being pushy. If they don't want the job, they should find another. The pool had no towels, the exercise room left you in the dark on a treadmill after 5 minutes because the motion detector didn't pick me up. Also the surprise $25 early check in fee. Really, one hour early? I think I will find another hotel to give $550 too. I can't believe you would stick me for another $25.
