Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn

Walking distance to food, by walkway. What we didn't like was the tile around the pool. It became VERY slippery when it got wet.

This hotel was amazing. We chose a room with a Mountain View and it was perfect and beautiful. The hot tub was big (12 person), hot and clean. They always had pool towels available. Coffee was always fresh and hot in the lobby and the full breakfast was good with many options.

Our family had a great stay at Best Western Saddle Inn. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection and hot options varied slightly every day. All staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure food was warm and everything was wiped down. Rooms and facilities including the pool were well maintained and clean. Being able to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub was a key part of our family trip.

Very nice room. Pool and tub were a big plus on a cold winter day.

Really liked our roomy 2 king bed room. Very very clean. Staff here is wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is divine! Seating can be tight at times. Would return but the heavy chlorine in the pool room was too much. There’s no fans or ventilation. I became very congested and asthma kicked in

Good place to stay. Easy access to local attractions. Pool was nice and CLEAN. A little confusing set-up with two main lobbies. Breakfast was hot, fresh with attentive staff. Only bad was housekeeping failed to stock toilet tissue.

Beautiful location and nice hotel. There was no elivator in the back building but they offered some one to take luggage up the stairs. This was helpful as I have an injured knee

We were very satisfied with the BW Silver Saddle. It was very clean, the service was friendly and it has a good location relative to "downtown" Estes Park. Our room was roomy and comfortable, including the beds which were just the right amount of firmness. And we had a balcony that opened onto some quiet open space with a great view of the fantastic mountain peaks. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed a week. Cheerfully greeted every morning by front desk as we walked past on our way to breakfast. Kind and welcoming staff with every interaction whether passing in the hall, asking questions or friendly conversation. Breakfast prepared and served by gracious, thoughtful and cheerful hosts. Cleanliness on whole property inside and out was exceptional. Thank you.

Main part of hotel seems much nicer but they put us in what they called the "annex". It was clean but that was the only thing decent about it. Old, musty... not worth anything close to what we paid for the room. I won't ever stay there again but if I did I would be 100% sure I wasn't in an annex room.

Beautiful hotel at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park We stayed at the Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn in Estes Park and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is located in a peaceful area at the edge of the Rocky Mountains, with spacious rooms, a large outdoor pool and whirlpool, and a very good breakfast that exceeded expectations for a hotel in this category. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the entire property was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we did not get a room with a balcony, which we had hoped for – it would have been the perfect way to end the evening with a view of the beautiful landscape around Estes Park. One important thing to know: The front desk closes at 10:00 PM, so if you’re planning to arrive late, be sure to arrange your check-in accordingly. Overall: A great place to stay, with excellent facilities, lovely surroundings, and warm hospitality. We would gladly return!

Same thing with all these hotels, the carpet is disgusting, time to get rid of it. ITs old and dated and time to do a little upgrade with the price of this room

This property seems a bit dated but that did not affect the quality. It was very clean and staff were constantly checking on cleanliness and stocking things at breakfast and pool towels. Our stay was wonderful and we all slept very well. We could have easily stayed a few more nights and been very happy! Overall I was very impressed.

Bed sucked. Couldn’t sleep the first night and I had a 4 hour flight and got up at 4am that morning.

The rooms are definitely not soundproof. The man checking us was unfriendly and abrupt. The room is very small and the decor is old.

The check-in was very convenient and fast. My room felt brand new and very tastefully decorated. It had a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. Fantastic views and two separate entrances to the room, a separate sitting area, and large TV. I was here on a work trip and the internet was, by far, the fastest I have encountered at any hotel. Connections were via WIFI and Ethernet, but both were exceptionally fast. I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Also, everything is within short few minutes drive from the hotel. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice hotel with convenient location to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our room was clean and spacious and we loved having two doors to access either inside the hotel or street access. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

We’ve stayed a couple times and had great experiences. They accommodated a special request for a room which we really appreciated, everyone is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and quiet and the sound proofing is quite good between rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is also good - my family loves the green chile. All around a great deal and pleasant stay!

If you are heading to Estes Park with kids, luggage, and the need for more square footage than a shoebox — this is the spot. We’ve got two little ones, so the extra bedroom was a lifesaver. The service provided here was great and the cleaniness was superb. I have to give a high recommendation for the included breakfast: literally, one of the best (included) hotel breakfasts we have had. There was hot items (eggs, potatoes, pork green chili, and a revolving meat item), pancakes, waffles, yogurt station, pastries, juices, coffee, etc. As other reviews have mentioned, the pork green chili was amazing and a must-have! The overall selection and quality of food was impressive, even satisfying the most discerning palates of my kiddos! But here’s the real MVP: the breakfast staff. Sylvia (and her male teammate- did not catch his name) were truly next-level. Courteous, kind, and somehow made hotel dining feel like a fine dining establishment. They even tweaked a dish for my wife’s diet, and kept everything spotless and fully stocked. Honestly, I’ve never seen such A+ service at a hotel breakfast before. Please give our sincere compliments to Sylvia and the other dining staff members! Verdict? Spacious rooms, killer breakfast, and staff who deserve a standing ovation. As the vast majority of reviews on this website, we highly recommend!

Beds and pillows were great. Loved that our room had an outside door and an interior door.

The property is set in the mountains and is surrounded by natural beauty. One afternoon we even had elk eating right outside our building. It's conveniently near the shopping district and entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were in the annex building which is not attached to the main building. This was inconvenient for pool access and breakfast. The beds are not queen sized, they are doubles, so if size matters for your comfort, be aware. Also the streaming for the television really struggles. I don't know if the main building experiences these same issues but in the annex building relaxing to a movie in the evening was a challenge in and of itself.

Front desk agents are very friendly, polite and professional.

It was great but the person who checked us in was not very welcoming and made me feel like we were way out of line because we got there early. Our room was ready and he got us in and we liked the hotel…just that one gentleman was maybe having a bad day.

Was helpful with late check-in. Would have been nice to get Best Western points for my stay.

This hotel was very clean. The housekeeping staff were great and made up the room very well everyday. The hot breakfast was good but not great. We only had one issue where we needed room service in the middle of the night and could not get ahold of anyone. We called the front desk multiple times, walked down to the front desk to find the lights out and doors locked. One of us eventually walked outside to the entrance door of the main lobby and found a button to contact someone, on the outside of the building. This worked, and we were able to get the room service we needed, an hour later. No staff, including the manager, offered any apology at all for this and repeatedly asked if we called the front desk and told us they were at the front desk the entire time. At checkout, we were asked how our stay was, so i brought this up, and again no apology. They continued to tell me that i didn't do what i was supposed to to get ahold of someone when i called the front desk. Apparently, after the front desk phone rings and nobody answers, and after the automated system answers to tell you nobody is available, it gives an after hours phone number. Maybe i got impatient waiting on the phone every time i called and hung up before getting to this point, but i never heard that part of the automated system. It really doesn't matter. It shouldn't be this hard to get ahold of someone in the middle of the night, and not offering even a simple apology has resulted in this review.

Great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful in so many ways. The building has had many addtions so the room layout is kind of a maze. Our room had been updated and was clean and functional. Pool area was well cared for, clean and well stocked. Very nice breakfast with staff constantly replenishing the food and beverages. All the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out.

The breakfast there daily is excellent. Love the Pork Green Chili to put on the eggs. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk was especially nice.

The room was excellent with many amenities. Only 1 snack/pop machine. Also there was only 1 person ahead of me and it took 20 minutes to get waited on. Long day and my back was killing me.

We had 4 Adults traveling together. Shortly after check in we went to dinner. While we were gone we had a water bottle leak on one of the beds.So we called, maybe around 8 pm, front desk to ask for a set of bedding so we could change the sheets. I was told that housekeeping would be up shortly. They showed up very quickly and change the whole bed for us. They even changed the waterproof cover. Everyone was so nice and super clean.

Spotless property with great location and parking for spending time in Rocky Mountain National Park. We liked that it was a two minute drive from Estes, but away from the bustle and traffic of town. Our room had everything we needed and the breakfast was very helpful. I only have one small suggestion: switch to larger toiletry bottles or refillable wall mounted ones. Although the toiletry smelled lovely, our family felt guilty about using 10 tiny bottles of shampoo for our four day stay.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Silver Saddle Inn. Nice staff, and the property is very well-maintained. Rooms were very clean, and included a Keurig-type coffee maker, a small microwave, and a min-fridge. Breakfast had a lot of variety,and was very well-staffed; food was replenished, tables were cleared right away, and everything was very clean. Inside pool was nice too. We did not hear any traffic noise at night. Not much of a view, but location is convenient to access dowtown or the the roads to RMNP, other destinations. I would highly recommend this place.

Good hotel. Comfy bed & pillows. Bathroom good. Ok but not great breakfast. Eggs were kinda nasty, maybe instant? Gross looking sausage. Good coffee, orange juice, muffins.

Fresh and wonderful breakfast, awesome attendants at breakfast and room service

This is the second time we have stayed here. Its always clean and well maintained!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with tons of choices and they keep the food plentiful. The coffee is delicious!!!! We will keep coming back here!
