Nice hotel, affordable, fun activities though few amenities, friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet, breakfast could include some hot foods.

First this is really a motel with some improved deco in the room, which is why we were deceived in booking it. The 1st room that was assigned to us had a terrible musty smell and no light, being hidden behind a staircase. We got another room on the 2nd floor, which had a better view but had the same terrible musty smell. Since this was in August we could open all the windows and front door and leave them open for hours so we could breathe. Obviously this would not be feasible in the winter We walked around all the rooms and we noticed that many doors looked ragged and moldy. Breakfast was sub par. Staff could not care less about anything. Photos of the pool were deceiving and it was minuscule. Frankly we don't understand how this place has such good reviews.

A very nice, clean room … and overall a nice stay … Breakfast was simple (bagels were a bit stale) … the walkways were noisy in the evening (little kids running …!). But quiet the rest of the night … lots of early risers (hikers?) on a Monday morning … we’d return another day for sure!
