Great property. Nice pool and hot tub. Even though they're outside, they're heated, so nice to go in, even in the cold and rain! S'mores and popcorn in the lobby, and staff was super nice and helpful. Room was good with a cabin vibe.

We had a wondeful 2 night stay at Hotel Estes. Complimentary s'mores and granola bars were a hit with the kids. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking in RMNP. Town is close by and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

Haley at the front desk was amazing for check-in, friendly polite had all the information I needed. She was truly a pleasure. The facilities are not new, but they were rustic and charming, and the view from the window of my room was spectacular. The pool and hot tub were a lovely addition. The hot tub could use a little work, but it was hot and that’s exactly what we needed. the extras the s’mores the popcorn, and the continental breakfast were very nice touches. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

This place is very family oriented. The staff is great, there is a laundry and they even provided detergent and dryer sheets and they had popcorn in the lobby every day. There is a nice pool and playground area. The hotel is older but comfortable. My only complaint would be the very limited electrical outlets and an A/C that works okay but because of the location of the unit, it doesn’t cool as well as I would have liked. That being said, the bed was comfortable and I would definitely stay there again.

Bed as so lumpy & uncomfortable that we woke up with sore backs. The room above us was upper loud waking us up at 3am. Worst of all, we paid for a room there because it said there was a hot tub… but it wasn’t available… and didn’t tell us at check-in, we had to ask about it. The fix was we could walk 1/4 mile down to use another property hot tub. This was our anniversary trip… was super disappointed

Hotel Estes was perfect for our family. Great location, walking distance to Lake Estes, a mile from downtown, clean clean clean! Everything was fresh and clean. No mold or nasty smells. The view from our patio was spectacular. The workers were polite, friendly, attentive and present. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom had a musty smell probably because there’s no fan in there so we opened the window and that seemed to help. Other than that the place was great for the price we paid.

The room was not cleaned properly. The wife found hair in the bedsheets the first night and had to clean the bathroom herself. She refused to let the "cleaner" come in the rest of the trip because of the how dirty it was the first night upon check in.

Overall the rooms were clean. We had a room with a kitchen. The floor was sticky and a mop with a dirty cover was available for me to clean it ( was faster than having to wait for service). Could hear some road noise due to location. If you’re on the first floor the people above you sound like elephants. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and it was convenient to have the provided breakfast available. They also provided popcorn and s’mores in the afternoon. Great location for Rocky Mountain national park.

Very clean and comfortable stay - great location too! Had a quiet room and good night's rest both nights even though hotel was full and lots of folks on property for hiking,etc. but respectful of quiet hours. Conveniently located not far from downtown, grocery, and the entrance to RNMP. Our room was updated, very clean, and beds were truly comfortable. Heat & A/C worked great. Plenty of room for 2 with hiking gear, etc with good drawer space, and small fridge and microwave in room which we used. Liked the 'small touches' such as additional hand-held makeup/shaving mirror in room, water bottle refilling station and trail snacks available in the lobby all day. Smores and popcorn available too! Breakfast was enough for us with bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, and coffee. Outdoor pool and hot tub looked clean but we didn't get a chance to use them (people were though).Overall very happy with this stay and will stay again on a return trip in the spring!

It was located in a nice location. It was very clean and well kept. I would have no issues with staying here again. The cooling of the room left a little to be desired as the AC ran continueously but never seemed to really cool the room. The room could use more outlets

The property provides average motel facilities. Room was clean but the AC unit was extremely loud, could not keep it on during the night. On top of it, the window’s locking mechanism was broken. No good options to cool down the room. Asked the manager to do something about either or but didn’t bother. Breakfast was basic, served in the reception area. Only one table for four. The rest of the eating space about 12 seats, was a counter top along the window. People had to sit shoulder to shoulder. I didn’t notice any cleaning in between one person leaving and other taking the seat. A lot of people took food out to their rooms. I would look for other places in Estes Park next time.

Miles at the front desk was amazing and super helpful. He was there the first 2 nights of our stay. There was a woman our 1st 2 mornings who was pretty unpleasant. She seemed bothered by our presence the 1st morning for breakfast. We didnt bother the second morning so we wouldn't inconvenience her. Overall it was peaceful.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy. Staff did a good job of refilling breakfast items and coffee when it was empty. They have the basic amenities - ice machine, water bottle station, washing machine, pool & hot tub. The popcorn and s'mores in the afternoon were a nice touch. Its close to town, restaurants, the lake & Rocky Mtn National Park. Only critique I have is that they said they would have a rollaway bed for my 5th guest and they didn't have one available. Someone from their staff even contacted me twice about it and said it would be in the room for an extra $10 a day. When we arrived, they didn't have one. We ended up going into town to buy a small blow up mattress for $150. On a positive note, my daughter will use it for camping trips so it wasn't a total waste. Other than that, it was a nice stay, location was great & I would recommend them.

Our stay at hotel Estes was fantastic! The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially the young guy at the front desk who went out of his way to help us. We loved the unique touches like nightly s’mores and a popcorn machine in the lobby—it really made the experience memorable. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding, and the views from the hotel were stunning. The shops and restaurants were just down the street and super fun to walk around. Overall, a wonderful stay—we can’t wait to come back!

10/10, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Sometimes small hotels/motels can be hit or miss, but Hotel Estes is far better than most options! So close to downtown Estes Park and 10 minutes from the National Park. The buildings are tidy and well kept. Onsite laundry, which was extremely reasonably priced and they provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Large capacity ice machine. The rooms are CLEAN! They are clean and smell clean. The staff is amazing, friendly, and they provide many extras that other lodging options do not- afternoon popcorn, evening s’mores. Daily housekeeping was much appreciated. There is a great area to hang out with a kids play structure, two fire rings, a picnic table and a dining table. They also had multiple grills that you could use to prepare food. We felt so at home and well taken care of during our stay. The only regret was not being able to stay longer. I wouldn’t hesitate making reservations here!

Hotel Estes was quite a pleasant surprise! The hotel is situated in a great location, accessible to many of the amenities of Estes Park, including the GMNP and includes a lovely view. The room was immaculate and quiet with all of the comforts of home. Breakfast was available but not until 7:00 on weekdays…I was hoping to get some coffee before then since I’m an early riser. The food available was just ok…nothing hot unless you toasted bagels in the machine. Staff was very helpful and pleasant…friendly all around. I will definitely be staying there again!

Loved our stay at Hotel Estes. Very convenient to everything and there is a walking path that goes straight into down. Miles, the evening attendant, was fantastic and really helpful. The only downside was that the curtains allowed too much light into the room. Light seeped in through the bathroom, near the sink, and also the front window. We just like it really dark. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great stay in Estes! The place was clean, had a hotel, and extra towels and everything for our stay. The room was spacious, had a comfy king bed, and great wifi and AC. The facilities were clean, the hot tub and pool were nice and cleaned every morning. The main lobby where breakfast was served was also clean, had a nice water filter to fill up your bottles, and had a breakfast consisting of hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, bagels/toast, muffins. Also they serve pop corn and smores. They also have a lot of board games you can check out. The staff was incredible nice and willing to help. Quick drive downtown, and also to the lake which has a great walking area, and lots of parking. Would recommend this location.

Great hotel! Very clean and comfortable. Really comfy bed. Hot tub had great jet pressure which was massaging on my back. Close to the downtown area. It's about one mile to walk to the Estes Visitor Center or you can catch the free shuttle. Liked the popcorn in the evening. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but worked since I don't eat hot or heavy breakfasts anyways.

Stayed here for two nights as we visited Estes area and RMNP. Hotel seemed older, but has gotten a facelift. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't hot, but enough to fill us up. Popcorn and s'mores in the lobby in the evening was enjoyed by my kids. Our room was SO clean! Cleanest hotel we stayed in during our whole trip around Colorado. Beds were comfortable. Shower water was hot- so refreshing after a day of hiking. There was some noise we could hear from the room above us, but it wasn't anything to complain about or keep us from sleeping. Definitely recommend this hotel.
