Comfort Inn & Suites Fruita - Grand Junction

Good stay but it could use a little TLC. Fan in bathroom made all kinds of noises. Vanity light above sink, only half the lights normally came on. Light switch faceplate off color with non matching screws. 1st floor room window screen torn like someone tried to get in.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn for the Desert Gravel Bike Rave. The hotel was clean and conveniently located.

Breakfast ok, tho no whole wheat/whole grain anything. Only fruit was bananas. Our room was next to the elevator so not great.

The main reason for my mediocre review is that our room was pretty noisy. Cars in the parking lot were very sparse, yet we had a person next to us that we could hear their TV late at night. Additionally, we were assigned a room right by the lobby and laundry room. Around 3 am, we could hear what we assumed was the staff doing very loud tasks. It seems like they could do better at spacing out the rooms, and assigning rooms away from workers when it seemed that they had plenty of available rooms.

Poorly maintained. Bed mattress sagged to the middle. TV was not high def. Door to bathroom rubbed against the floor.
