The only negative was that the hot tub jets were not working. I let the front desk staff know, but it was 7:30pm at night and there was no way they would be able to get it fixed that night, which is understandable. Maybe the hot tub jets should be checked every morning when the staff restocks pool towels

The rooms are nice. The jacuzzi needed fixed as back jets werent working. Maybe it had a little greening on the bottom part. I'd say it needs help. Its our 2nd stay here and we do like the rooms greatly.

It was fair, hallways smelled like urine, craftsmanship of border on flooring were uneven and toilet was old and had stains. Slept ok, felt the mattress springs. Towels were soft but too thin. There was an old washcloth in the bath tub that wasn’t ours.

When you arrive and unpack, go to the bathroom and find mice droppings out in the middle of the floor, nothing is going to help your mind set. This is an overpriced $25 a night hotel. No, I would not be recommending this place, and will not staying here again.

The room was filthy and disgusting. We changed rooms and the second was not much better. There was a terrible smell, ripped and stained bed covers and unclean bathroom. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to unpack our suitcases. The breakfast was terrible, they threw overcooked sausage patties in with breakfast potatoes. I told staff about my concerns and they were not interested.

The towels were small. We found a dirty baby bottle under the bed. The ironing board broke and would not close. The internet was hard to access and was off and on the entire three days. The pool was closed. However, the front desk staff were very nice.

The good - the room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and it was a short walk to the Fruita Trail where we could stretch our legs after being in the car for hours. The not-so-good - I'm not sure if it's because we booked through Expedia or not, the room was not in a good location as it was right next to one of the utility stacks. Showers being taken nearby on our floor as well as the floor above us created a lot of noise in the room. Additionally, the cabinet housing the fridge had a harmonic vibration that was noisy whenever the compressor ran. The bed and pillows were only OK, and all of the furnishings were a bit tired as you might expect from an aging hotel. It's generally a noisy location, which is out of the hands of the hotel. Overall, it was about value for the price and a place to sleep and have a light breakfast before moving on.

Apparently I did not specify that I had a dog so when I got here they refused my stay as they did not have any pet rooms available. The did let me know that Super 8 had one available, so we stayed there.

I was put in a room with two queen beds. I reserved a room with one king-sized bed. I was charged for that king bed room. I asked to be moved to the room that was booked. In the most mocking tone, the front desk person replied that she was so sorry (again dripping with sarcasm), but she would do nothing for me. So, I am due a refund for the difference between the cost of the room I reserved and paid for (a one king bed room) and the room she forced upon me.

On a positive note, the hotel is nice, well maintained and comfortable. The breakfast was good including hot and cold items. However, on a negative note, their was an issue with the check-in. When I originally made the reservation, I booked a king room, not seeing any option to choose a "pet room". I had messaged the hotel to inform that we were traveling with pets and this was the last correspondence with the hotel. We did not receive another message to tell us the room was changed nor that an upcharge would be applied to the reservation. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told our room was changed to a 2 queen bed room and there was an additional charge of $26 required before check in. The girl at the front desk then told us the difference was "the cost of the room" - the 2 queen was more than the king - and it was not a pet fee. This was an obvious lie because king rooms are more than 2 queens and there is a $25 pet fee. My biggest frustration with all this is that we were not notified there was a room change due to the pets nor an upcharge and the check-in clerk was more interested in proving me wrong than helping try to satisfy a customer. Poor customer service for sure!!

Don’t even bother if you have pets. I selected we had a dog when booking. We arrived at midnight and at check in they literally cancelled my reservation as I’m standing there because they didn’t have any more pet rooms available. Went across the street and got the last room at MIDNIGHT with two little kids and was told it’s very common for this property to cancel people cuz of pets last min. Will never attempt to stay here again

Hotel was alright. Been here before on several occasions. This trip I got up slow ( Sunday Morning ) and got down to "breakfast" at 8:55 am thinking that Breakfast went from 7 to 10 instead of the usual 6 to 9 am. WRONG. Staff was gathering up items and hauling them off to closet. About 15 people still in room ~ a couple was grabbing breakfast just ahead of staff. Asked front desk why so early on breakfast ~ shrugged and said that was the usual time. Wasn't on previous trips :-( gathered up my stuff, checked out and when to nearby restaurant for a better breakfast. Mentioned it to hotel staff but they didn't seem to care.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our bedding was dirty with stains and hair, so they provided new bedding. It seemed like they had painted recently, but the caulk around the tub was badly deteriorated. For free breakfast you are given tickets to turn in. Breakfast is only 6-9am and they are strict with that. We arrived at 9:05 and the hot food was already put away and they would not accommodate us. The second day we had to check out by 5:30 am for our flight, so we never got breakfast which was the primary reason for choosing this hotel. I also chose this hotel because of its 4 star reviews but it should be a 3star "average" rating at best. If we could have received a refund, we would have gone back to the hotel we stayed at in Grand Junction which was much more modern and clean. Finally there is not enough parking so if you arrive in the evening, you will have to park in the overflow dirt lot next to the property. I would not choose this hotel again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff assigned us a conveniently located room and were welcoming off us storing our bikes inside the room. Breakfast was terrible. At 7 AM, most of the food was gone. Later, staff brought out some egg soup mixture (severely undercooked eggs). My hash browns were still cold in the middle, the bowls containing fresh fruit were dirty and sticky on the bottom. The dining area was crowded and the staff had a hard time moving around. She probably just needed a little more help. Staff were irritated when we walked on her freshly mopped lobby floor. However, it was 10 AM, an hour before check out. It stands to reason that people would be crossing through the lobby at that time. Mopping an hour later would have made more sense.
