We have stayed here three times and two of those times, our room was not ready. It was after 5 pm and we had been in the car all day. We just wanted to be able to get in our room and refresh. Also, my kids were looking forward to the pool. It was Memorial day weekend, so we assumed it would be open, but was not. It was being opened on our last day and not ready to be used. It was a disappointment.otherwise, we were very hapoy wuth our stay.

The hotel staff here were very friendly and amazing. Always greeted us and were so kind of any requests. Only complaint was they held trash in a storage room next to ours and the smell lingered into our room and was horrible entering and exiting our room. Also no indoor pool. I did not realize this when I booked that the pool listed as an amenity was outdoor only. Other than that was a great stay!! Thank you Colin and team for the amazing customer service.

This place was clean, felt safe, and had washers and dryers available for guest to use. The staff was friendly and you will love the nice lady serving breakfast, talk to her she has a wealth of information about fun day trips.

The staff were friendly! Breakfast was good for continental style. The community printer didn’t work but the staff helped me print out a shipping label on their printer. The room was clean and was perfect for my week long stay. Trash seemed to be hard to remove from our room on our own. The dumpster was not located in a convenient place but the staff was accommodating and understanding. The tv was a nightmare but that’s because of the brand and not because of the staff. They helped me figure out the “trick” to make sure it worked. Overall I really liked this property and would recommend staying here.

We had two rooms. We were supposed to have a two bedroom suite, but those were overbooked so they put us in two studio suites. That was completely fine, it was nice to have two bathrooms between 4 people. Both our rooms looked clean, but one room smelled funky. We opened the sofa bed in that room and the sofa bed had been peed on and had blood stains on it. Everything else in that room was spotless… I think the staff just forgot to check the sofa bed. We checked the sofa bed in our other room and it was brand new.

This was an extremely poor experience for a Marriott property. Upon check-in the front desk area seemed good. However, once we entered the building where our room was situated, we were greeted with an overwhelming stale cigarette smoke stench. There were bags of trash outside a couple of guest rooms as well dirty linen/towels rolled into a piles on the floor. As we got closer to our room we could smell animal poop. The level of cleanliness was below average.There was a big white stain on the carpet next to the bed and the walls very dirty especially next to the bed. We opened the sofa bed and found a dirty towel rolled up in the mattress. As we left to get dinner, some guests were smoking marijuana with their room door slightly open and the hallway was reeking of marijuana smoke. We spoke with the night manager and he said he would check up on it. We would have checked out immediately but it was late, our kids were tired from travelling all day and just wanted to get something to eat and get into bed. The next morning we spoke with the day manager and he was very nonchalant about it and said that they cannot control whether guests smoke marijuana or cigarettes in guest rooms even though the hotel has a strict no smoking policy. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone, we slept with a chair pushed against the door because we felt so uneasy. Definitely not the standard you would expect from a Marriott hotel.

Stinky, stinky, stinky. Halls either smelled of obnoxious strong cooking, or had a musty odor. No good way to ventilate anything either. But my room smelled even worse. Not sure what it was, mold, sewer, pet odors in the carpet, carpet odors from guests that partied too hard, old food smells stuck in the ventilation system? Really couldn't tell what the gross smells were, but it was a terrible smell, gag inducing, and in the main living areas of the suite, it was miserable. Turned on all the fans in the unit, opened the windows (the crack allowed), and ran the ac and heat back and forth to keep some fresher air flowing, all of this the whole stay. Still didn't want to spend much time in the main living area, one of the bedrooms was off and on, bathroom was gross majority of the time, and one bedroom was tolerable with this effort. Also kept my bags sealed the entire time and would get dressed right before leaving the unit in fear of my clothes absorbing the foul odors. Pillows were these weird plasticky things that were noisy, and with weight on them would decompress to like a quarter of the size. The non-carpeted floors had a weird slimy feel. Even the coffee sucked. The packets didn't seem to fit properly with the coffee maker and made super weak, watery coffee. All this for $180 because finding a decent room is tough with the current supply/demand issues. I get inflation and all that, and that this is a 2* hotel, but with the money being charged they can do much better.

We had a 2 bedroom suite. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly . Decent breakfast provided. The kitchen was fine, but the dishes that were provided were gross. They had food caked on them -all of them - glasses and cups too - and that was disgusting.

The room was great as far as amenities are concerned since it has a full kitchen. The downside was that we couldn't fall asleep due to a large amount of people partying in the grill area right outside of our room. Once we fell asleep we were woken up very early by the room above us. The walls were way too thin.

This was a great property. We chose it because it was a direct drive to Red Rocks. There were restaurants close by. It was nice and quiet. The 2 room suite was perfect for us.

Took 4 times to get to our room. 1st time gave us a key to a room and walked in to someone already in the room. Scared the crap out of them walking in at 11:30 at night!! 2nd time sent us on a long walk to the wrong building. 3rd time gave us a room with only 1 bed and the 4th time back to the office where she then took us to a room with 2 beds. Couldn't comp us anything because we didn't book with Marriot and it was a 2nd/3rd party which was expedia...so not to happy with that answer. other than that it was a good stay.

This was one of the worst stays I've had at a Marriott property. The TV in our room did not work unless I unplugged the power cords and the cord for the cable service then plugged them all back in. It wasn't until our third day that a "technician" came to the room and fixed the problem. We reused our towels and asked for fresh towels every other day at the front desk as we left for the day. When we returned in the afternoon/evenings we did not have fresh towels. I had to go down to the front desk and get them myself. We asked for the bathroom to be cleaned on the fourth day of our stay. It was not cleaned during the day. We called and more-or-less demanded someone come to our room to clean it, which they finally did. We were very disappointed with the service at this property and would not stay here again.

The person checking us in announced our room number out loud with others in the lobby. As a woman who often travels by myself, this is a huge safety hazard. Your room number should never be announced out loud. Staff needs better training.

Too frustrated to go into detail here after just spelling this out to Marriott corporate as I cannot even work with the employees at the hotel itself - we had multiple issues the employees could have either prevented or handled better but they failed on all fronts, leaving us highly inconvenienced and even feeling unsafe at one point (fire alarm went off and despite 3 employees being on site, no one from the hotel was offering any info or direction to us or the other hotel guests who were forced outside in the middle of the night, concerned about the possibility of fire, etc.)

Serviceable suite in an excellent location for taking in all of the natural beauty in the area. Nothing fancy at all, but if you want a comfortable place to make your own dinner and sleep well after a long day of hiking, biking, or just riding around in the Colorado mountains, this is a really great choice. We took in a show at Red Rocks and made it back to our suite in just eighteen minutes! This is a really great location.

Great option, especially if you're headed to Red Rocks. Easy access from the highway. Remote location, but many restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes. The property could stand to be updated with modern, newer finishes and furnishings. Overall, it was nice place to stay for the price.

Amazing stay in chilly Denver visiting family, going to museums and enjoying the snow capped mountains all around. The hotel was excellent (staff, rooms, service) though breakfast was average. However, they accommodated my wife by buying gluten free bread so she could really enjoy her breakfast!

Totally charmless hotel. Very functional. Double bed was uncomfortable. In room ac was loud and kept turning off and on. Tv was difficult to operate. A 400 pound person was in the room overhead one night and we heard every step. Breakfast was unappealing. The seemingly one person staff (he was there night and day) was friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated in a semi industrial park so nothing is walkable. Lots of restaurants, stores exciting a short driving distance. In spite of being a Marriott this brand is not one I would stay at again.

I was initially disappointed that they only had Queen bed options. The hotel inside looked very 1990 vibe but it grew on me over 4 day stay. The breakfast did not have many options. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked.

We had a five night stay at this hotel. It was great! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and I really appreciated the 12 cup coffee maker. The hotel was pretty full but it was quiet. The area was businesses and it had easy access to the highway and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very good and had something different every morning. I highly recommend Townplace Suites.

Overall a very run down property, everything was dingy, sticky, stained, etc. I had to move rooms because of several live wasps in my first room. My new room had live bugs in between the window and screen and a pile of dead bugs in the window sill. It’s obvious they don’t do regular exterior maintenance. I couldn’t open the windows at all. The evening/night staff lady was excellent and friendly in helping me move. But otherwise bad experience and would never stay here again. No trash removal. Halls stank all day and night. No housekeeping that I could see for FIVE days. Bathroom drains were clogged, I complained and got no response throughout my stay. My TV never worked. Sheets had blood stains (and other random color stains). Breakfast was horrible. Raw oatmeal, frozen egg omelet things being served, regularly out of coffee. I felt dirty staying there. There are clearly serious maintenance issues here being ignored. I feel bad for the staff.
