Older hotel, but clean and kept up. No elevator to second floor. That would’ve been nice. Nice breakfast. Waffle maker, cereal, breads, yogurt, etc. The town’s free shuttle stops literally across the street. Bath towels are nice and fluffy, but don’t dry you off, AT ALL. You have to stand there and air dry before you can get dressed. Staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable for the most part. Perfect central spot for all the surrounding attractions.

Both front desk gals were not the more friendly .. not willing to go out of their way when we asked questions. They were annoyed each encounter and really seemed like they did not enjoy their jobs. Also, pool was freezing!

Well kept, older property with friendly staff. Free shuttle stop access across the street, a park nearby and lots of parking with a great view of Pike’s Peak. I would stay here again.

Front desk was nice, check in was easy. Not a whole lot of options stocked for breakfast. They had some muffins, bread, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt as options. So not horrible. Hot tub was nice, pool was freezing cold. Over all it was a good place to stay for the price.

Our room wasn't the cleanest. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed after the previous occupants. Our room also wasn't cleaned while we were out for the day. There were also drunk people out in the parking lot being super loud all night. I wouldn't stay here again.

The place is older but clean and comfortable. The rooms are large and have a larger than dorm size refrigerator and a seating area. Beds and linens are good as well as towels. Lighting is great. We enjoy the seating outside, and depending on where your room is, there is a great view of the incline and Pikes Peek. Always had a place to park and everyone that we ran into that worked there have been great!

I liked the clean facilities. of particular note, the pool and hot tub area was very nice, there was plenty of light in the room, the air conditioner worked well and it's thermostat was accurate. I would have liked a microwave.

Nothing to do with the hotel really but there was a local in the area that night who was on something more than just marijuana and he was wandering the hotel grounds. There is no one on staff after 10pm.

We were driving 10 hours from Utah to our hotel. The man at the front deck kindly called to check in on us and even offered to make arrangements for after hours check just in case we were running late. The bed was soft can comfortable. The hot tub and pool were clean and had towels available for us. They had a variety of breakfast options as well. They even offered a small map of the area witj coupons. The staff were the nicest hotel staff I've ever interacted with.

Property was easy to find, room was clean, but the a.c unit was noisy, bath towel had a hole in it, soap bars were tiny and hard to hold while using. Front desk only had one person so at check in I was left waiting for 15 minutes while the young employee had to answer question after question from someone on the phone looking to book 4 rooms but obviously had not bothered to look online first before calling the hotel. However, in all fairness, having a second person available with only one computer would not have helped my situation. A second computer would have also been needed. I did not use the pool or partake of the breakfast. so I can’t review those items.

All as advertised, so good. A little far from town center so not walkable for us, and in-town parking is about $3 per hour. Manitou is not quiet anymore, not the hotel's fault. Not sure the difference between a hotel and a motel these days--room entrances are on the outside (not inside halls). Lobby furniture is very worn--not a great first impression.

We would have loved a few more protein options for breakfast. Nice to be able to make a waffle, toast, cereal, etc tho. The rooms are clean but if you're a light sleeper bring some earplugs as noise travels through the walls.

We had a good stay in Manitou Springs, primarily because it is so close to Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City, and the Red Rocks Open Space (all of which were terrific). The two Magnuson hotels are better than most in Manitou, but could use a face lift and a hot breakfast.

Nothing special for this price. The price is base on two occupants, so expect additional fees if you have 4 people. We stayed there one night, 2 rooms. The offered breakfast... I will not call a breakfast. The staff was quite nice and patiently answering my questions.
