This motel needs some assistance or to be taken over by new management. the Pool was closed my entire stay, no additional bedding was provided when requested, no additional towels delivered to the room upon request. Room amenities werent in full working order at all

The rear door to the parming lot had a key card reader stating the door was secured. The door was not secured and you could just pull it right open.

For the price I paid last minute I got an amazing double bed room, only two things I didn’t like one was that the elevator didn’t work from the second floor up and the second was that there was an industrial fan in out bathroom bathtub? Not sure why but we left it since we wouldn’t use the bathtub. But overall loved the short stay!

DO NOT STAY HERE !!! It's a complete Dumpster fire. Paint and paper peeling off the walls. Have an old metal hospital chair at the worst table I've ever seen. Drawers are broken. Blankets have burnt holes all over them. My smoke free room reeks of smoke. I didn't even want to sit on the toilet. Bathtub shower I won't even step in. Hallway carpets are disgusting. That pretty pool pic ... it's mold encrusted. No phone or alarm clock. If I could give zero stars I would

I’ve stayed in this motel at least 25 times within the past two months and it’s back and forth between good and bad but this time it was horrible because it was disgustingly dirty. I’ve seen two roaches walking on the bathroom floor. Pubic hairs on shower walls. Floors not swept at all. Towels look like they were washed with towels coming from pet allowed rooms. Nasty.

I’m not one to leave a review for most places. But this was such a bad experience that I just can’t help myself. This is not the place for families or people staying for longer than one night. The room was disgusting. It smelled like cigarettes and had burn holes on the comforter. There was hair in the shower and a used paper towel that was stuck to the wall. The walls had holes and the floor was dirty, with visible dirt in every corner. The staff was unfriendly, and there was a large presence of drugs. Including the front desk agent that checked us out at the end of our stay, who , along with the rest of the people in the lobby, were nodding off while standing up. I picked this because it was close to the beach and was in a convenient location. This was a bad choice on my part. I should have done my homework. The icing on the garbage cake that was our stay , was the large rat that we saw scuttling into the bushes as we were leaving. I’m telling myself that the rat is an outdoor rat, to give myself peace of mind about my terrible choice in hotels.

Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed the presence of roaches—not only in the bathroom but in the bed as well. This was extremely disturbing and created an unsanitary and unsafe environment for myself and my family. We were shocked and disappointed that a nationally recognized brand like Motel 6 would allow guests to stay in such conditions.

Though the hotel is “non-smoking,” the hall reeked of tobacco smoke. The room itself was unclean, reflecting, poor housekeeping, and disrepair. The room we were given, did not look like the pictures on the website. Though we travel to the area frequently, we will not be booking again.

Outside the hotel entrance was a crowd of people smoking. The lobby and the hotel halls had a strong cigarette smoke smell and a weird odor. Seemed outdated. The room was not clean. Bathroom had visible hair every where, the door would not shut, the microwave cabinet was filthy, the bed was clean but uncomfortable and needs replacing. Although our room was “ Smoke free “ it had a strong odor. Personally would not stay here not even for a quick sleep. The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly receptionist - the gentleman was friendly and polite.

Non smoking room but you can smell the cigarette smoke and see on vents that cigarettes were dashed out in it. Not swept or mopped. Hair all over sink, tub, shower walls and toilet. Dirty toilet seat. Dirty fridge. Microwave stinks. Electrical outlet near sink for hair dryer didn’t work at all. One washcloth and one towel in room and they were both dirty. Complained to desk but they refused to switch rooms.

The person who checked us in made no eye contact & treated us mechanically. Fire alarm testing began at 7:30 am. The telephone in the room was disconnected; there was no dial tone. The sink was clogged; there was no way to unstop the sink to allow water to drain. Overall, this was an inhospitable experience. Please do not recommend this motel in future.

The bed was rock hard didn’t even get 4 hours of sleep. The towels had hair on it. The ac didn’t work but the guy came up and fixed it. The staff was very nice but the bed was terrible. Would not stay here again

The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. They had complimentary shampoo, lotion and 2 bars of soap. The shower worked well and the hair dryer worked well. It was a comfy bed and clean. I only have 3 things to talk about that really didn’t make me comfortable. The lighting was very bright more like a fluorescent color. A softer yellow glow would have been nicer. Also the air conditioner and toilet made a whining sound when used. All in all, this was the cleanest motel 6 I have ever stayed at. I would stay again because it was a great price as well.

After a horrible first night at a different motel the kindness and professionalism at this Motel 6 was top notch. It can be a little noisy but it’s not too bad. I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in CT.

Booked 2 double rooms and received confirmation for two doubles and one was handicap accessible. First party checked in, receptionist said there was a king and double. I heard about this and called ahead to make sure that was a mistake and that there was a second double for us, and I was hung up on. When I checked in about 3 hours later the same receptionist was there and she was unbelievably rude and childish. She gave us a non handicap double and charged me $10+ more than my confirmation. When I brought that up and showed her my confirmations, she swore at me and told to go somewhere else if I didn’t like it. Loud music and banging on the floor above made it difficult to fall asleep.

the manager that was there for check in was VERY rude, and made us feel like we were bothering him. this was after we waited 15 minutes before he even showed up. we had to call 3 times for which we heard the phone ring in the manager's office and had to knock on the door twice before he even responded. then once he came out, he made us feel like we were a nuisance. not our fault that we are clients. The room was outdated, very much in need of repairs and updating, it looked like the "landlord Special" i was definitely disappointed, i stayed at the redroof inn across the highway last time, and i only went to the motel 6 to save 3$ a night, and i very much regret it. was NOT worth it. the lady that was there as manager the next day and there at checkout was a complete 180 degrees, she was so nice in comparison. The male manager needs to be fired, and the place needs to be renovated.

Lady at the front desk was not very cooperative. She tried changing my confirmed reservation from a double to a king, and I needed 2 beds that is why I booked it. She also tried charging me $30 more than what my confirmed reservation was. Not a very friendly person to work the front desk.

The front desk employee was the worst experience I've ever had. He looked at me almost as if he was annoyed that I even walked in. Did not greet or welcome me. Just said "name" after I gave him my name he said "id and cc" gave me id and room cards and said "to the left elevator 2nd floor". I come to the 2nd floor and the cigarette smell is unbearable! In the room it's coming through the walls! Now let's talk about the spider webs on window behind curtain. Disgusting! Just awful! Will never stay here again!

The room was not ready when I arrived at 4 pm other guests were told the same. No working phone to call front desk for an extra blanket then I was told they didn't have any extras. Very noisy and dirty and poor management.

I didn’t like that there was no breakfast available. I didn’t like that there was no extra towels or wash clothes replacements when the ones that was dirty. I didn’t like that there was no replacement bedding. I like the fact that the motel was clean and smelled like pine and bleach. Some of the staff were nice. I like the fact that the bus stop was a nine minute walk.

The common areas were not cleaned (specifically referring to the vent near the 3rd floor ice area). The vent was caked with dust. The furniture in the room needs updating. The ad stated coffee maker in the room (there was none), and there was no remote for the TV nor did the phone work when I went to call the front desk about it. When I went down, the clerk looked around his desk, picked up a random remote (with the batteries held in by tape under the cover) and said, "Try this one"; it didn't work either.

I was greatly bothered by the cigarette smoke that permeated throughout the halls, elevator and my non-smoking room. Even the smoke from people outside the entrance wafted up into the heating unit. They also don't provide any kind of breakfast.

Basic motel. No frills. Would have been nice to have a front desk clerk at check out actually converse. Alas, room was ok. It was clean and quiet. Pillows a bit flat. Wish breakfast were provided.

No elevator had to walk up two flights and I have a breathing problem. I stayed there a couple weeks ago and it was broke. Not friendly. Towels so rough and small. No coffee in morning was ready or all was gone.put coffee pots in room. Holes in wall patched but not sanded and painted.

The tub had a large crack by the drain and the toilet seat almost felt like it was going to come off. There was only two towels and one washcloth for a room booked for 4. There were clothes left on the shelf under the tv. When we asked about the breakfast, the staff was very abrupt and unapologetic, there was no breakfast available just coffee and tea. The hallways smelled very strong like cigarette smoke.
