I absolutely loved everything about Homestead. It’s luxurious yet comfortable like you’re at home…except a full service home that comes with a personal chef, house keeping, and a spa bath! The Innkeeper, Antonio, is an absolute gem of a human! He takes such beautiful care of the property and the guests. The home feels like you stepped back in time but it is meticulous and crafted with beautiful antiques for the period of the home. Then the rooms are fully updated and luxurious like you’re in a five star resort spa. I stayed in the Monroe Suite. It was the epitome of comfort. The linens are so comfortable as well as the bed. I took regular baths in the spa tub. I did not want to leave. Breakfast was decadent and delicious and they were so kind to completely accommodate my allergies and intolerances of certain foods. I wasn’t expecting that but they wanted me to have exactly what I could. I cannot wait to come back and stay in another one of their suites since each room has a different aesthetic. Thank you for the most wonderful three night stay!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Homestead Inn in the Monroe Room. Although we were a bit disappointed that the room did not include the towels shaped into swans, we were delighted by the comfortable king bed and jacuzzi. Breakfast was far from continental, but provided a good variety to help us get through the day.

The house was gorgeous with many interesting pieces of furniture, decor, and old photo albums. Nicole and Antonio were very gracious and welcoming. The house is run very professionally. Dining options within easy walking distance. Farmer's market on 1st Saturday of the month on the green was awesome.

Great attention to detail and very clean with excellent instructions upon arrival. We stayed in the Annex which was very nice, private and quiet. A-lot of thought has gone into the details, very comfortable bed and even a heating lamp in the bathroom.

This is a beautiful inn with rooms available in the main house. We stayed in the annex and unfortunately the room was too bright and stuffy to sleep properly for our one night stay. However, on the plus side the annex had access to the main house which had a beautiful sitting room with games and food and drinks available. I would conclude : consider paying more and staying in the house itself.

I was under the impression when you stay at a bed and breakfast that breakfast was included. Found out didn’t spend enough money a night to include breakfast. I think spending over $500 for 2 nights , breakfast should have been included. Also had to ask for housekeeping on second day. Will never stay there again.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in New Milford and at the Homestead Inn. First and foremost, the staff was wonderful and welcoming. We were greeted upon arrival and Antonio offered many helpful suggestions regarding area eateries and things to do - even places to park on our side trip to Yale in New Haven! Catherine was also very accommodating, going to extra lengths to assure that my daughter with food allergies was safe. The property was very clean and the area very charming. Restaurants, shops, etc. all walkable.

Super cute place. The onsite staff member was amazing. My only complaint is that our room smelled heavily of cigarettes. Not fresh. Like it was an old smoking room. We bought air freshener while we were out and had to spray repeatedly. Everything else was amazing

There was a bit of an error either on our end, or the online booking end from hotels.com. We thought we were staying in the main house and didn't realize until the day of that we were booked in the Annex. We didn't get breakfast, or to stay at the building itself, and instead we're booked into a different block of rooms off to the side. It was a little nosey being right next to the street. The room itself was good, a decent size, a comfortable bed, good working AC, and a TV. Overall it was fine for what it was, but if you're booking for a place to go based off the room itself and the breakfast, make sure you double check your booking, or call them directly.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in New Milford and at the Homestead Inn. First and foremost, the staff was wonderful and welcoming. We were greeted upon arrival and Antonio offered many helpful suggestions regarding area eateries and things to do - even places to park on our side trip to Yale in New Haven! Catherine was also very accommodating, going to extra lengths to assure that my daughter with food allergies was safe. The property was very clean and the area very charming. Restaurants, shops, etc. all walkable.

The house was gorgeous with many interesting pieces of furniture, decor, and old photo albums. Nicole and Antonio were very gracious and welcoming. The house is run very professionally. Dining options within easy walking distance. Farmer's market on 1st Saturday of the month on the green was awesome.

I was under the impression when you stay at a bed and breakfast that breakfast was included. Found out didn’t spend enough money a night to include breakfast. I think spending over $500 for 2 nights , breakfast should have been included. Also had to ask for housekeeping on second day. Will never stay there again.

I absolutely loved everything about Homestead. It’s luxurious yet comfortable like you’re at home…except a full service home that comes with a personal chef, house keeping, and a spa bath! The Innkeeper, Antonio, is an absolute gem of a human! He takes such beautiful care of the property and the guests. The home feels like you stepped back in time but it is meticulous and crafted with beautiful antiques for the period of the home. Then the rooms are fully updated and luxurious like you’re in a five star resort spa. I stayed in the Monroe Suite. It was the epitome of comfort. The linens are so comfortable as well as the bed. I took regular baths in the spa tub. I did not want to leave. Breakfast was decadent and delicious and they were so kind to completely accommodate my allergies and intolerances of certain foods. I wasn’t expecting that but they wanted me to have exactly what I could. I cannot wait to come back and stay in another one of their suites since each room has a different aesthetic. I can’t say enough great things about this place! It was so cute, the lady who makes breakfast is such a good cook but also she greeted me every day. It was my first bed and breakfast and I never want to stay in a traditional hotel ever again!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Homestead Inn in the Monroe Room. Although we were a bit disappointed that the room did not include the towels shaped into swans, we were delighted by the comfortable king bed and jacuzzi. Breakfast was far from continental, but provided a good variety to help us get through the day.

It turns out that the only way someone knows that a particular room doesn't include breakfast, prior to paying, is to surmise the same from the fact that breakfast isn't included as an "amenity," or, after making a NON REFUNDABLE reservation, reading the fine print AFTER paying a non-refundable reservation. When I mentioned my surprise, the proprietor also noted that my reservation, about $300/night, wasn't at a high enough price point to cover the price of eggs. (Yes, he really said that.) I wasn't actually in the Inn, but some in a row of rooms about 5 feet from the road. Worst value in a B&non-B I've experienced, alas.

The place was nice and the manager was very pleasant. The only problem was that there was no breakfast offered in the B&B if you stayed in the annex. This might be a miscommunication between Hotels.com and the hotel but it should be specified during booking.

I wish it was more apparent on Expedia's site that breakfast wasnt included in the annex rooms. I didnt realize until after I booked. Other than that the stay was fine.

The main hotel is charming and lovely but as we booked through Hotels.com, we ended up in an Annex room - property adjacent but no access to breakfast, etc. AND we were put in a room on a street that had a lot of cars going by, and was way too bright. The inn keepers were lovely about all of it and offered to move us into the actual hotel for our 2nd night but we stayed put though did accept their offer for homemade breakfast before we left. It was excellent and copious! If you stay, be sure to carefully check which room you’re choosing. The location is great, and lots of great places around!

The Inn was very nice. I had stayed there about 13 years ago and was happy to see that the original warm feel had not changed with their expansion. The ammendities were great with free coffee and water. Great location with the ability to walk to restaurants and shopping.
