I usually stay at The Avenue Inn, but their prices are crazy-high these days, so I booked Brighton Suites. It was a very nice stay, and I have only one complaint (and I'm writing it to help others). When I arrived, I turned the corner and went into their underground garage. There was not one free spot. I found it odd, since there should have been enough spots to cover the number of rooms they have. I parked on the street in front of the entrance and went inside to check in. I told the man at the check-in counter that there were no spots, and he said to display the parking pass (which covered the length of my stay) and "park up here." Lo and behold, I got THREE parking tickets on my car during my stay. Apparently, he did not mean that I should park in front of the building (which is what I took his hand gesture and words to mean), but in a second garage they apparently have. What irked me is that he did not clearly explain that they had a second garage I should park in. He said "up here" and I took that to mean right out front since he told me to be sure to display the parking pass. Had I understood that they had a second garage, I definitely would have moved my car to park there so it wouldn't be out in the open on the street.

Last time I stayed in this hotel was in early 2000 when my son was little. It is a different hotel than it was then. The two rooms are bright and cheery, the bed is very comfy, the pool is small, but swimmable and staff was great. I was very pleased with stay this time and it was close to everything, including to my friends who were staying at the Star of the Sea condos. The toilet was even the kind for "older" people -tall and not found in too many hotels these days. I would highly recommend Brighton Suites as a reasonably priced hotel at Rehoboth Beach, whose rooms are similar to higher priced hotels I have stayed in.

Amazing stay. It was really great to have the suite with the extra space when traveling with a toddler. Hotel provided beach chairs and towels it was a very short and easy walk to the beach. Didn't have a chance to use the pool but looked great. Staff was very helpful with everything we needed

I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the parking garage was convenient, my room was clean, the free Wi-fi worked well. I also appreciated being able to cast my streaming platforms onto the TV. Overall, I highly recommend!
