The breakfast run out quickly…. They were low on supplies. My room didn’t get serviced the second day even though I was told it would be serviced everyday. The only reason I rented a hotel was for my daughter to use the pool. When we were ready to do it, I asked the front person how to get to the pool and then she replied oh it is in maintenance and it was closed (there were no signs about it) No one told us that when we checked in.

We picked this location based on reviews. Loved the pool and surroundings. Everything was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very nice and friendly. Will definitely be back. If you are cruising this is the best location.

Staff was friendly and responsive. Wish the ice machine on the first floor was working. Shower water pressure was amazing, but sink drain was incredibly slow draining. Bed was comfortable. Didn't take advantage of complimentary breakfast because I left before 5am.

I just stayed for five nights. The carpet in the room was not clean. I noticed lots of food from the previous guest on the floor under the table and next to the bed. The staff at the front desk were not friendly. The two ladies at the front desk that I interacted with always had their AirPods in and they were talking to somebody. Seeming agitated when I asked them a question. Although I did not eat breakfast every day, I did enjoy the service and food while in the breakfast area. The pictures of the gym are not accurate, the equipment is very outdated, and the treadmills are very temperamental. If you’re interested in running, they would completely shake as if there was an earthquake. The gym is very small as well, so with three people in it, it is crowded. The location of the hotel is very convenient, but the hotel itself, I would not stay here again.

Nice gym with good working equipment. Excellent full, hot breakfast that is constantly restocked and the area is kept very clean by hard working friendly staff. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels. Highly recommend making the extra drive from TPA airport to stay here. We are locals and know first hand that hotels near airport are no good.

First arriving took awhile for front desk rep. When we got to the room the carpet was filthy with lots of bad stains, didn’t want to walk barefoot. The beds were lumpy and felt very wet. Limited tv access, the room had a musty stale odor. Used to always stay at Holiday Inn's they have gone downhill.

The property has an excellent location. Easy to access from the highway. During my stay, the facilities were being remodeled. If the facility was at full capacity, there would have been issued with congestion on property. In addition, I found a live roach in the bathroom. My room could have used some additional cleaning.

Good breakfast. Workout area had empty sanitation dispenser, no remote for tv, just one towel. TVs were outdated with no guide on tv or provided in the room forcing the user to manually scroll to find a station or even determine if it existed.

Hotel was nice and clean. You can tell it’s been renovated and it’s well kept. I had only one issue and it was the beds. I got a double bed room & both beds were horrible. My fiancé and I left with the worse back & hip aches. This trip was to be for rest and relaxation and didn’t meet My expectation.

We were not able to check in until after 5 pm although my room was booked months in advance. We showed up at 4 pm (the check in time) and were given the run around that our room wasn’t ready due to them being short staffed and the fact they were hosting teams from a soccer tournament. If you can not accommodate the amount of guests, don’t book them. I asked to speak to the manager, who was not present. The elevator was noisy and when I looked into it realized the inspection certificate expired 08/01/25. We had originally booked the hotel for 2 nights, however left after the first night and went elsewhere due to the conditions of this hotel.

Made my reservation a month in advance and when I got into the property at check-in time there wasn’t a room available for me and my partner and the receptionist told us to wait 30-45min. After waiting the said time I went back to check in once more and was told they didn’t have a room yet and made me wait another 30min until they called and assigned me a room. Room service came in while me and my partner were still in the room in the morning so I told them to come back after 1 hour since we had plans to leave and come back later. When we came back we saw that they never came for room service and I even had to call the front desk for fresh blankets and a mattress cover. While we showered we started getting a weird allergic reaction to something inside of the bathtub and made me and my partner feel sick and sneeze all night long which wasn’t convenient for either of us. We tried searching to see if it was something that we had used or left but it was indeed the rooms bathtub and water.

Ken checked us in and he was welcoming and recommended places for us to have dinner. We chatted with him a few times on our way in from being out and exploring the area. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety of breakfast foods. I am returning to Brandon in a few weeks and have booked a room to stay again

I’ve traveled to this hotel multiple times for work. The staff, no matter the hour of day, is incredible. Everyone is just so friendly and accommodating. The showers are awesome after a long day. The patio area is a wonderful place to sit and relax after a long day

The stay was nice. The breakfast is amazing. HOWEVER, some very questionable people linger in the parking lot. I stayed for two nights and each day had encounters in the parking lot (1 from a literal crack head, like literally, & 1 from AAs who were smoking and seemed to try to follow me). Stand your ground and be aware. It’s a nice surrounding area, so idk how they get over there. lol but the hotel was notified.

The hotel is located in a great location. Restaurants, shopping center, movie theater all within walking distance of the hotel. And you’re right next to the highway, the hard rock casino is less than 15 minutes away. My room was great. Loved my very comfortable bed, and my room was very clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Check was very easy no problems at all.

Good hotel overall with large rooms, good breakfast and was clean. Biggest issue was with security. Homeless are sleeping nearby along with a lot of trash and abandoned shopping carts. Each morning I saw that an external door was propped open with a small rock allowing anyone to enter the building unseen by lobby staff. I pointed this out to the staff so they removed the rock but it was propped open again in subsequent days, so the problem was not taken care of. If I returned I would probable bring a device that would ensure no one could easily enter my room without alarming me.

The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices to choose from both cold and hot, which is great when traveling with kids, hey, even adults. For the coffee lovers, they have a machine that grinds it for you, hence fresh coffee always. And did I mention, coffee anytime….

Average hotel with some good aspects and some bad. We had 3 adults staying in a room with 2 beds. The room had very limited storage for clothes and very few places to hang towels to dry. The safety bar in the shower was detached at the bottom. Breakfast had great variety - muffins, pastries and yogurt were very good, however the hot food items were usually cold. The pancake maker was very good.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express, Brandon, Florida was very pleasant. The check-in process went smoothly and the clerk on duty was polite and efficient. Our room was clean, which is always a plus, housekeeping personnel maintained dozens of rooms in the most desirable way. Breakfast was excellent. It included a variety of choices for everyone. We truly appreciated this hotel and it's amenities.

Property is in a nice place next to a little pond. They had Ice Cream and Cookies at the front desk every night. Staff were always helpful when I had issues. The fitness room was decent and had a nice range of weight sizes. Downside is they had a 15lb and 25lb dumbell missing. Breakfast was amazing it alternated what options there were. Always meat and eggs though. One day they had potato's too. I’m also a big fan of Holiday Inn because they have the cinnamon rolls with frosting. Breakfast staff could have done better having food ready. A couple times we had to wait for them to bring out more meat or eggs. Overall great stay. Stayed for 5 days.
