There is a "gym", but it's just a couple of machines stuffed into a closet. The hot breakfast wasn't a winner. But, the room was clean and well designed. The people were all friendly. It's also a couple of blocks from the sand.

Great location, good lighting bathroom lighting, nice kitchenette area. Poor lighting in main room, small, stuffy fitness room, no towels in fitness room, no sanitizing wipes in fitness room, evidence of previous leaks in ceiling, additional charge for parking, housekeeping only every 3 days / not daily, a leak under bath sink (maintenance put a bowl under the leak for the night, fixed it the next day, left bowl of dirty leak water in the middle of the bath floor, left their dirty footprints all over bath floor. Room had water view, but no balcony. No service elevator, so hotel staff loaded cleaning carts, etc. in with guests in the elevator crowding an already crowded space. Pool area needs a refresh; looks dated.

The room was clean and bathroom is above average. Only two bath towels in the room for 4 people and staff was unable to locate more. We booked for ths pool, were disappointed that only one slide was operational and had clearly been that way for awhile. Breakfast was okay, everything needed replinished, staff was very helpful when asked for things to be refilled.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff, especially Sunny, were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was lackluster, but that seems to be consistent across Comfort Inns. My kid really enjoyed having a chocolate waffle vs plain or cinnamon. Minor problems were that our door had issues closing, window leaked when raining and puddled the floor, and the mattress was lumpy. Not sure if lumpiness was due to the mattress cover or mattress itself, but it made it hard for me to sleep comfortably. My kid loved the slide for the pool. However, it was questionable and appeared sort of loose. My kid cut her elbow going down and hurt her shoulder at the end. The hotel was so convenient and price was great. We would definitely stay again.

Staff was mostly pleasant and super helpful. Breakfast options were OK if you're not terribly picky. Pool was great. Gym sucked- super small and no weights- if this is important to you- skip this hotel. Simply put- its an old building

1. The elevator was broken for several days during our stay making getting our many items in and out of the room awful. The ice makers were out of order on every floor so we had to go buy ice for our cooler. The toilet flapper kept coming undone. Maintenance fixed this after day two. 2. The noise level coming up from the street was very loud, we could hear the cars at the intersection as if they were just ouside the window even though we were on the 4th floor. 3. The "free breakfast" was useless. Yogurt, over ripe bananas, fruitloops cereal, stale coffee, diy waffles are hardly enjoyable breakfast options. 4. Charged for parking even though Expedia said all fees were included in my resrvation. I will be discussing this further with management. 5. Room was clean, which was a surprise considering the age of the hotel. 6. Front desk staff was very plesant, but this hardly made up for the other things that made our stay dissapointing.

Older hotel, needs some upgrades. It is walking distance to shopping, food and the beach. It advertises a bar but it never opened. Staff was friendly. Did have a few rooms with an ocean view which we were blessed to receive.

Clean room, hallways and pool could use a renovation. Many parts of the hotel are broken, chipped, rusty, missing pieces, etc. staff was nice. Breakfast buffet could use some more variety; it was extremely limited, same with the bar.

Old hotel-but well maintained, solid cleaning staff. Clean towels, bedding etc. front desk- very professional and helpful. The location can’t be beat for price, Deerfield beach around the corner, partial views from window.

Hotel is very run down. To get up to our room we had to an elevator that had four flashlights in each corner keeping it from being pitch black. Once we arrived in our room it looked alright, until we took off the top blanket only to find a bug. The shower also only had burning hot water or freezing cold. Terrible pressure. The breakfast is sad. Hardly any options and did not look appetizing. Would never recommend this place. The pool was so dirty and full of sand. Not sure why? The slides also full of sand. Kids didn’t even want to go in it. The only good thing about this place is its steps away from the ocean! I advise you to find another hotel.

Resort is dated, not as clean as it can and should be. Especially since it’s older. Front desk was okay, nothing overwhelming in terms of service. They do charge a 16.50 parking fee daily so be ready for that.

Don’t let the lobby fool you. Very old hotel not well taken care of. Hallway was hot and smelled terrible of mold and mildew. Shower covering moved and hot and cold were written in what looked like nail polish. Paid an extra $20 for ocean view only to look at a giant tree and someone’s dirty back yard. On the positive side, staff was friendly, bed was comfy and room a/c was cold.

The beds were comfortable and showers were hot. Aside from that the towels were tiny and dirty. The elevator had no lights and I took the stairs on account of the droning sound it made. I cut my hand on broken tile in the rundown pool. The owners should feel lucky it was not severe but it could have been as the edges are sharp on broken tile in several areas. Unbelievably someone glued the tiles on and they're falling off. Breakfast was a limited disgusting joke. And last this is NOT oceanside. It is two blocks to the beach with buildings inbetween.. Overpriced and I will never stay there again I assure.

we were on the second floor and the carpet in the hallway is nasty... The ice machine looks like it is leaking and the had a rusty old fan on to try and dry the carpet..Next to the fan was a dehumidifier. The rest of the carpet in the hallway was filthy.and needs to be replaced.

My experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. The first issue was the shower—it simply didn't work properly. It made getting ready for the day a real challenge. Reported it to the front desk and nothing was done about it. Additionally, the room I was assigned was right next to the elevator and ice machine, which created a lot of noise throughout the night. Every time the elevator moved, I could hear it clearly in the room, and the constant sound of the ice machine added to the disturbance. It was hard to get a good night's rest with the noise constantly in the background. I was also quite disappointed with the breakfast. The selection was very limited—there weren’t many options to choose from, and what was available didn't seem very appetizing. It felt like the hotel wasn’t putting much effort into providing a decent start to the day for its guests. I ended up going out to find a better breakfast elsewhere. I did appreciate the location of the hotel—it’s conveniently situated near shops and the beach—but unfortunately, the issues with the shower and noise made it difficult to fully enjoy my time there. I hope they address these problems soon, but for now, I can't recommend staying there

The view of the ocean is okay not that you are on the balcony and enjoying the view. Complimentary breakfast is not up to the standard. Room conditions are ok but both ac and exhaust fan are old and make lots of noise. Couple of times got jerks while sleeping when ac suddenly turns on with noise.

The general manager does not know the meaning of the word hospitality. She was rude, inconsiderate, and when I protested her threat to have my car towed, she threatened to call the police. I have been a customer for over 10 years, but will never stay there again. She should be fired. In addition, the hotel lacks certain basic important safety features such as a bar in the shower. The so called free breakfast Is virtually uneditable. Go somewhere else.

The woman who was in charge of the breakfast area was quite rude. I asked her to see the ingredients in something ( I have allergies to food ) she was not helpful and replied “go in my car and go buy something I could eat “ i feel that ingredients should be made available to everyone. Check in was prehistoric, antiquated and took way too long. It was like checking into a hotel in the 80’s. Clearly the owner believes that location and pricing can offset technology investments at check-in. Maybe they are right, but it was slow. Vending machine only accepts cash! Hello 1986!

The room and hotel itself were fine, clean and nice. Very simple. The incompetence of the (only person) at the front desk was beyond anything I have experienced before. When I arrived she was hysterically crying and made for a very uncomfortable arrival. At check in, I was unable to use my business credit card without my boss present. Which was fine, I gave my personal card...which she charged 11 times!!! All for different amounts, which didnt reflect the agreed upon price with hotels.com. She said my bank flagged the transaction as fraud. I called my bank, told them it was not fraud and they cleared it. She then proceeded to charge me 3 more times and said it didnt work and it was a system error. The next morning, I went to the lobby and there was a line of people with the same issue. The woman could not handle this whatsoever, and said my boss had to come to the hotel and show his ID and physically give the credit card. My boss arrived later in the afternoon and had to wait 1.5 hours to finally speak with the woman who was nasty. She took his credit card and ID. The next night, I got back to my room and discovered a note under my door that said they were missing credit card information and to see the front desk. I also noticed they charged ME AGAIN 2 more times!!! And my boss twice. I asked the front desk what was going on and the same woman (who apparently is the only person who works there) what happened and she said my boss only authorized the room for 1 night, not 3.

This is a No Frills kind of motel. It was perfect what I needed located extremely close to the water and very affordable. I didn't need all the bells and whistles as I was in town for work. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and made my stay enjoyable.

I wish I could give the Comfort Inn & Suites in Deerfield Beach zero stars, because this place is an absolute disaster. We paid for a double double room with an “ocean view,” and let me tell you, the only view we got was of a grimy side yard featuring a beat-up white work van. Ocean? Not even a hint of it. False advertising at its finest. We checked in on Thursday and checked out on Sunday, and in that entire time, our room didn’t get serviced once. Not a single time. I called Friday night to ask why, and the front desk casually informed me that housekeeping is “by request only.” Fine. I requested service for Saturday, left the room at 10 a.m., and dragged myself back after an exhausting day at midnight—only to find the room exactly as we left it. Trash overflowing, no clean towels, beds unmade, nothing touched. I had to go to the front desk myself to beg for towels and a trash bag just to deal with the mounting pile of garbage. This isn’t some cheap Airbnb where you expect to fend for yourself—this is supposed to be a hotel! The poor old guy at the front desk seemed overwhelmed, and I almost felt sorry for him, but that doesn’t excuse this level of incompetence. If you’re charging people for a hotel stay, at least pretend to provide basic service. Save your money and avoid this dump at all costs. The staff was pleasant and the front office clerk said she would give us “2000 points” for a credit on another stay. I have yet to receive an email confirming that.

The hotel location is excellent since it's only a block (2-minute walk) from a nice, touristy beach and is surrounded by many nice restaurants and shops with a cool vibe. My check-in experience was too great. I arrived an hour early and was told I had to wait until 3pm, and couldn't even receive my parking pass, but when I came back at 3pm I overheard another woman in front of me stating she already received her parking pass when she arrived earlier. That wasn't cool at all. As far as the room, it was clean and comfortable unlike the hotel lobby and building exterior that was very old and run down. The location is great since only 1/2 block walking distance to the beach, and close to several restaurants.

The only positive was the location close to the beach. The TV didn’t work so I got moved to another room … which also had a TV with initial issues. The room keys were a constant issue. Property is dated and breakfast was poor. Room was either warm or extremely cold and had to sleep in a hoodie. Cheap rate real close to beach, but you get what you pay for.

The hotel is dated. The elevator was loud and squeaky. Rooms need a refresh overall. Ac unit was loud. We were in room 215, with a "city view". We literally couldnt see a thing. We had a view of the tile roof. Also, it was next to the elevator.... I would request a different room next time. Nothing was terrible, but everything could have been better. The pool was a decent size, went 4' - 7'. The water slides were a big draw for us, but they are basically inoperable. One was completely blocked/shut down, and the other one was only open randomly, but even then it looked like if you went down it, the bolts and seams could cut you. We didnt even attempt it. Breakfast was the exact same every day; blueberry muffins, english muffins, sausage patties, egg patties, plain yogurt, 2 types of cereal and hot waffles, and orange juice and coffee. There needs to be some rotation of options. The ladies working did keep it very clean though. They have beach chairs and misc beach toys behind the desk if you ask. That is a nice touch so you don't have to buy them. They aren't the backpack style, but they were easy enough to carry to the beach, which is a quick and easy walk to the beach too. The restaurant attached is only open randomly during the day also. We had sandwiches one day. They were good, but a bit pricey. 3 sandwiches and a pop was over $50. I think this hotel could do much better if they updated rooms/slides/breakfast. $15/day to park is crazy too, include it in the price.

Older hotel, needs some upgrades. It is walking distance to shopping, food and the beach. It advertises a bar but it never opened. Staff was friendly. Did have a few rooms with an ocean view which we were blessed to receive.

Clean room, hallways and pool could use a renovation. Many parts of the hotel are broken, chipped, rusty, missing pieces, etc. staff was nice. Breakfast buffet could use some more variety; it was extremely limited, same with the bar.

The room was clean, however, besidesthe water pressure being very weak there was no hot water in both of our rooms. The second room, I rented, the air condition rattled loudly all night. Of course, this started happening after we got in bed and being late, we thought it might settle down and resume to normal. It did not and continue rattling.
