Liked location, access to restaurant, parking in garage. Didn’t like the fact that anyone could access the hotel elevator from garage without a key card. Should have another layer of security.

There were minor cosmetic issues in the room and the message light on the phone kept blinking. However, the air conditioner at times was very loud because the return vent rattled. Also, the water cover outside was broken, a hazard. There were no coffee pods (only decaf) but they allowed us coffee from the breakfast area. The staff at the check in counter was pleasant and helpful. The gym overlooked the pool but it was small and one of the treadmills was out of service. Maintenance seemed to be a problem at the hotel.

Great stay. Loved pool and deck. Too bad hot tub was broken but they had an alternative next door. Only negative was their rigidity around check out not allowing us an extra hour stay which should have been very easy to accommodate. Bathrooms are tired and old but lobby really nice and inviting

We loved our marina view balcony room! We spent so much time out by the pool or walking the channel and seeing so much nature right in the water. We saw a manatee, jellyfish, sharks, jellyfish all right there. This isn't the newest or fanciest hotel in the keys, but the location, the friendly and helpful staff and the super easy parking under the hotel put smiles on our faces. We walked to Skipper's Dockside for dinner one night. Also we walked down to Sharkey's for live music and cocktails. It is right across the highway from Snook's which we enjoyed a different evening. If we are ever lucky enough to get back to the Keys, and specifically Key Largo, I would go back and stay here no question.

The hotel is very well located for activities in Zoey Largo. The staff and Bistro workers are terrific! Nice pool, jacuzzi and artificial beach area for sun and fun. I would go back.

The property was clean while a bit dated. The pool was small and crowded. The alarm in the room was already set to go off at 6 am and then there was A LOT of noise from folks in the corridors just after that preventing us from sleeping!

If I could give this place a 0 star I absolutely would. This was absolutely disgusting in every regard. The checkin staff was kind however, the rooms were absolutely foul. When we entered the rooms (we got two as we were travelling with family), it was hard to ignore that the walls were filthy, the bathroom was disgusting, the AC unit was so accumulated with dust it was unusable in room 1. The duvets on one of the queen beds had blood on it and my daughter had to sleep over top a basic bed sheet. When she woke up, she had a bunch of bites all over her legs. In room 2, besides the filth of the room and accumulated muck on the walls and doors, the AC unit was dripping so severely that the floor was wet and mushy. We asked the staff to assist and all they were able to do was to put several towels on the floor to help mitigate the dampness. The shower in this room also did not work at all as in, no water running. Rooms were incredibly outdated as well and it was clear the cleaning job was less than subpar. Terrible experience and would not recommend anyone to stay here at all. It looks nothing like the photos, please save your money.

Our rug was wet in different areas of the room. We asked for another room but they said they were fully booked. They had maintenance come up and he agreed the rug was wet and thought maybe they did a rug cleaning that day. He said he will speak to the front desk. We never heard from the front desk so I called the front desk and she said he never gave her the info. There was no resolution- we didn’t get offered points or any discount and we had to stay in room and wear slippers if we got out of bed. Unacceptable. Thankfully we were only there 1 night.

We arrived very late as our flight was delayed (2am) and was told that we were a no show even though I had called the hotel twice to let them know. The room that was given to us wasn’t very clean. I found someone’s hair tie on the floor, carpet was stained, and under toilet seat had a small urine stain I cleaned up myself. I will say that the front desk staff were very nice and accommodating when we requested an extra cot, towels, and blankets.

There was a huge stain still very much wet, which i actually stepped in when i kicked off my flip flops, in bare feet , as i was unloading my baggage cart. Called front desk, the cleaner tried, but left a towel over the area. When I went to the pool, there were Cheetos from a fallen bag scattered at the top of the pool stairs, which I picked up myself by hand , as staff had no nearby broom and pan. When I attempted to make front desk aware of children behaving badly and not respecting other guests, security guy, I think his name was Frank, said yeah I’ve been watching them and then said he to go to bathroom and never addressed the issue, which I then called corporate to make them aware such things seemed to be unacknowledged and staff seemed to be unaffected. One of the pillows had mold on it. They charged me $75 for my dog, which the site only said, pets allowed. It did not give me the option of selecting anything that would make me informed if I was bringing a pet that it allowed, that there would be a fee. Only when I was complaining was I informed I could go to the Holiday Inn pool, as it was a sister property. I know first hand from formerly living in Key Largo, those pools are more accommodating to bigger groups of family as their pools are significantly larger than the one provided at Marriot. My experience , and my expectations, as a guest, in the very first hours of my stay, were absolutely not met.

Very dated property. Definitely not worth the money. Very dingy rooms. A/C unit dripped and leaked on the floor from the ceiling the entire stay. Bathroom door in rough shape, cracked, chipped, very small bathroom had to maneuver around toilet to shut the door. Tub drain clogged entire stay. Not impressed.

We had a second floor balcony room with a great view, this is a an older property but I liked it alot, the A/C wasn't working properly so it was kind of hot, we only stayed one night so there wasn't really anything they could do about it. A very good location on Key Largo.

Marriott is always dependable for quality. The staff was very friendly inlcuding the porters/cleaning staff. The room was great, however the bathrooms definitly are in need of upgrade. My family really enjoyed the pool. Caveat: The rooms facing Overseas highway are noisy. The cars/motorcycles zooming down the highway start at 8:00 am. The buses and RV's that park on property pull up early. would definitley stay again on the pool side of the hotel.

Nice marina views. Walkable to several restaurants. Very large rooms. Comfortable beds. Negatives were not very sound proof. Could hear noise from other rooms easily but it was mostly a quiet crowd. Room did not have a microwave only a fridge.

When we attempted to check in, we were told that we were being moved to another hotel. Our one night booking was being given to 2 or 3 night bookings. An email was sent to us earlier that day, but we were driving and didn't see it. The staff member was not very welcoming or sympathetic to our situation. I wrote to the hotel manager, but did not receive a reply.

We came here for the weekend and were disappointed with the hotel. The room was dirty in the walls, bathroom tub, mirror. There were certain staff members that were very rude, I don’t remember the name but she gave us a hard time when checking in with our service dog. She kept asking for proof that it was a service dog and charged us a pet fee. We had to contact the manager on duty for tnat day and luckily she helped us to remove that fee as it does not apply for service dogs. I will not be returning to this hotel as it was not a good experience just by checking in.

Check in is listed as 3pm. We arrived at the property around 240pm and I decided to check if our room was available. I was told that it was being cleaned and the staff member that was checking me in took my phone number and said I would receive a call as soon as the room was available. She told me we could use the pool or wait in the lobby area.We left the property to get a snack then came back and lounged by the pool. We were bumped from the Courtyard to the Reefhouse. Notified a couple of hours before check-in. The property was considered an upgrade, but because we were only staying one night, and our room wasn’t ready until almost 3pm (we had requested an early check-in at Courtyard), we were not able to enjoy it. We were given an interior room, with a view of the back of the building in front of us. Room was small, but clean. Would have thought, for the inconveniences, a room with some sort of view would have been more appropriate. Certainly hope bumping guests isn’t SOP for properties using Hotels.com.

Great location around plenty of restaurants. The marina was walkable and quiet at night. The marina view is a must. It faces a bar that has live music and really adds to the atmosphere while enjoying the balcony.

We loved our marina view balcony room! We spent so much time out by the pool or walking the channel and seeing so much nature right in the water. We saw a manatee, jellyfish, sharks, jellyfish all right there. This isn't the newest or fanciest hotel in the keys, but the location, the friendly and helpful staff and the super easy parking under the hotel put smiles on our faces. We walked to Skipper's Dockside for dinner one night. Also we walked down to Sharkey's for live music and cocktails. It is right across the highway from Snook's which we enjoyed a different evening. If we are ever lucky enough to get back to the Keys, and specifically Key Largo, I would go back and stay here no question.

The hotel is always in perfect condition, service is excellent. It has a small restaurant in the lobby very convenient if you do not want to leave the hotel in the morning, has hot breakfast with lots of variety. There is a restaurant just steps from the hotel for lunch and dinner and a large bar with live music. There is also a marina next door where they can take you fishing at a reasonable cost. If you don't have a car to get around, you don't need one. The hotel is very centrally located in an area where there are many different restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, several shops in the surrounding area and shopping malls all within walking distance. Every time I am in Key Largo I always stay at this hotel

It’s located in the middle of town which makes it convenient to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful (we forgot our cards in the room). Plenty of parking. The coffee shop was convenient in the morning, friendly staff also. We will definitely be back!

Staff was very helpful. Location was great and the quality of the hotel was nicer than most in the area. Beds were comfortable. Its almost too quiet at the hotel, not much going on but they did have some games outside. Unfortunately the fire pit didnt work while we were there and you couldn't hardly hear the speakers at the pool, I believe only 1 was working. Balcony was nice, we were able to see boats come and go. Never found any access to a beach or fishing nearby.

The room was nice and roomy and clean. Had a nice balcony that you could sit and relax. The breakfast was very expensive and only one person working to take orders, prepare food and drinks and serve, making the wait time for your order lengthy. Had a nice under cover parking garage for free.

Hair on pillows. Add 10 minutes to get hot shower water. Paper thin walls. We heard conversations and loud partying at night. Air conditioner kicks on and it sounds like a rocket launch. The room gets very cold and then hot. Furniture is worn in the room and lobby. Forget the 6:30 AM breakfast. At 6:40 AM the lights were off, no food was out and the set up person ignored us. RUN.
