We stayed with the children, checked in during the evening due to getting rained out of fishing with them. We were an hour an a half away from home I might add. Thought we'll make it a mini stayca and the kids can swim in the morning! Wrong- pool was closed for maintenence with no sign at check in or up front communication from staff at check in. During this summer especially in Florida with kids, not good business!!!

The pool was shut down by the health department and left green for almost 2 weeks. The manager didn’t seem to care about reopening it. The rooms were still priced very high with no pool. The front desk staff and the kitchen staff was amazing! Excellent food. Very friendly staff and clean inside.

Its my favorite hotel when i visit Tampa. My only suggestion (and many others staying there) is the dlowness of the elevator. It takes a long time from one floor to another and the yime the door opens.

Place was very nice, well kept, but the elevator was dangerous. As it hit the bottom floor, it was too low, then raised back up to level off. If you try to get off of it quickly, you trip over it! And they’re very slow.

Clean hotel on the newer side for the area. Right by I275 which is convenient but can hear some traffic noise. Don't ho for a "pool" hotel, or gym, there is both but they tiny. Breakfast was very good for the value type of hotel.

Everything about the hotel was fine other than both the treadmill and stationary bike were broken. When I checked out and mentioned it to the person behind the desk, they didn’t seem overly concerned. I shared that I felt like I paid for a service I didn’t receive, and again, they didn’t seem to care.

Hello, So the room could be cleaned a little better. Carpet looked like they didnt vacum for some time. The most important things in my opinion are cleanliness. (most of all the bathroom) Not so much! Dirty shower walls,green all around the shower head. I dont clean mine that often and Ive never seen one look like that. The other is a cold ac. Its on an freezing you out one minute and sweating the next. However the bed was very comfortable. Usually one of the biggest issues. Now heres my biggest issue with this property. They obviously allow people to park and sleep there. Not an issue til one pulls in hits a vehicle then just leaves. Or out there robbing your car why you sleep. There is no parking lot security so definitely a possibility. There was a dozen or more cars each night with people sleeping in them.

We had to deal with a roach infestation in our room. We killed over 30 roaches in one night. Next morning, as we are going downstairs to complain I see they had a gallon size of roach killer in the cart of the people coming to fix the room. If they know they have a problem, they should close the hotel and fix the problem instead of continuing to book people. I am IHG member and I always stay at their hotels. This is the first time I have a problem with them. Would definitely not recommend.

This hotel had potential, the front desk staff was great, location was convenient for us but the housekeeping staff is not up to par and I had to go purchase dusinfeiwioes to wipe everything down, the room had not been vacuumed, there was food crumbs from the previous occupant at the shower needed to be scrubbed.

Good: Located in easy walking distance to Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Easy on/off from highway. Bad: Had room facing highway and was noisy. Room doors are noisy when closing. Heard other guests opening and closing doors.....made noise. Will bring ear plugs and request room not facing highway next time.

The only reason it’s scored lower on the comfort is was that it was under renovation and they had trash bags on the window and no blinds with lights shining into your window, so it was like daytime in your room when you tried to sleep that other than that, it was a great place to stay

The first thing that happened was that we booked this hotel because it was promoted as no pets allowed, when we walked on the 4th floor a dog with no leach came barking to my wife leaking her legs. She also found a piece of paper that had lipstick under her pillow. Toaster and pancake machine wasn’t working. Ceiling was leaking above the coffee bar. We contacted the person at the front desk and told her about the dog, and the piece of paper under the pillow, she offered to refund us, but could not refund us because it was booked from a third party.

Great hotel. Amanda at reception was very friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and Dove amenities were nice. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast buffet had lots of choices a was maintained well by hotel staff. Will stay there again when we come to St Pete!

Suoerb young ladies each time interacting with front desk. This is regarding check-in, early eve, AND for check-out in morning. Through any needs, a situation that needed a change and even with the likely 'anxiety' in my OWN voice, (@ check-in), these ladies handled everyrhing kindly, calmly with a smile & even helped 'soothed my soul', without kniwing it. Seeming to enjoy their job, respectfulness and kindnesses ARE important to experience from those helping us through our travels, as your paying customers. Thank you & God Bless.

All of the staff was extremely nice! Breakfast was good! Hotel was clean! We did have a problem with the air conditioning not working in our room the first night, but they were quick about the situation and moved us to another room!

Stayed 5 nights. Easy access from I-275 and only 20 minute drive to coast line in either direction. We just needed a bed in a clean and quiet location.....it did that. Breakfast was typical for HI Express or Hampton. Foyer coffee was automated machine that ground the beans and made it FRESH.....this was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful (tour guide advice).

Great staff. Didn’t feel super safe. There were police there late one night in the parking lot arresting someone. The hotel seems a bit outdated, the carpets were dirty. It was a good price, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Close to Hwy but no noise, Cracker Barrel next door, east drive to the beach without the traffic and high price tag of staying on the beach, 10 minutes to the PIE airport, great hot breakfast variety each day, wish the pool was in the sun in the afternoon but overall very pleased!

Was worried due to the area around the hotel but the stay was great. Clean room, great staff, very good free breakfast in the mornings. Cracker Barrel restaurant is directly next to hotel you don’t have to drive anywhere to get dinner. Would definitely stay again!!!!

Overall we had a great stay. We stayed for four nights. Our room was super clean and kid friendly. We got a room with two queen size beds, and the room was nice and spacious with adequate space for storage. The microwave and mini fridge was a nice touch. Pool area was nice with a few tables with umbrellas. Their breakfast they served was nice, with many different options to choose from. Would definitely stay here again. Love that it’s centrally located, there is a major highway close by and a bunch restaurants and shopping within a five minute drive. Staff was super helpful and friendly. There is a Cracker Barrel right next-door.

The bed was so Good to sleep in. We were here for a birthday party down the block, we didn't spend time in the hotel since we had to decorate and assist in other issues. The breakfast can use an update. Not crazy about the cheese in the egg.

Property was clean and close to highway. Staff was friendly. The pool is a bit small and breakfast was super crowded and kept running out of food. Pancakes was out both days we were there. However there was a cracker barrell next door. Overall not a bad stay for a quick trip.

Room was ok, however the guest next door had a horrible cough that was loud( connecting room type room) that kept on waking us. The breakfast area was closed by either the Health Dept. or a business regulation that watches hotels breakfast areas…..so no breakfast at all. Asked for a refund and they said that because it was through Hotels.com Holiday inn couldn’t give me a discount.
