Rodeway Inn Austell Six Flags

There was 9 cars broken into in the parking lot.everyone had a window busted out. My family want be staying again.

While the hotel's location is convenient for Six Flags visitors, the lack of working amenities (closed pool) , the subpar breakfast, and the observed pest control issue are factors to consider when making your decision.

Family trip to Six Flags. It was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The grandkids loved swimming in the indoor swimming pool and practicing their vocals since the acoustics were amazing. We will definitely stay here when we go back😄

The hotel was very outdated the best thing about it was the pool the indoor pool was great but the people staying in the hotel behind them kind of sketchy people living in a hotel behind them you can see it out your window they're grilling it's just a bad look good location if you're trying to go to six flags but overall if you're planning on staying for a length of time you're better off going somewhere else

What I did not about the property was only selection of cereal for breakfast along the side with milk and juice. The pool sign says 10a-10p but they don’t open the pool until 5-6pm and make it sound like an inconvenience about opening the pool. Not only in the pool area but inside our room there is black mold to be seen. For the price we paid I feel like the mold should have been taken care of as well as more points than just cereal. With that being said they charged a $50 deposit for my son’s service dog which is against ADA laws. I hope that they continue to fix this place up their is definitely potential.

The continental breakfast was just a couple of dry cereal options, coffee, and watered down juice. Convenient walk to Six Flags. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Indoor pool was convenient.

Facilities were in very poor condition and not well maintained. Ice machine was broken. Vending machines were out of service. No elevator. Whole building smelled like strange smoke.

Breakfast was just cereal. Pool was broken Staff was friendly.

Our vehicle was vandalized and window broken. There was 7 other cars vandalized. Would be nice if staff could alert us of the happening but nothing.

This hotel is warn out. It is shabby, and dirty looking. We would never stay there again!!!! The receptionist employees were NOT friendly. Didn't smile, or make you feel welcome. We have been traveling for 3 weeks, and stayed at numerous hotels during these 3 weeks, and this was the worst one. The towels in our room had marks on them. Not just one but several pieces had black marks. The material on the bottom of our bed had black marks on it, like someone had scribbled on it. The refrigerator made a lot of noise. Their breakfast was a total joke. 2 kinds of dried cereal. Frosted flakes, and Trix, apple and orange juice, milk and coffee. That was it. We were at some other hotels, and their breakfasts were very nice. I should have taken some pictures,

We love that it was so close to six flags over ga and the staff was very friendly and tje riom was very clean.

They have ants everywhere inside the facility. And must be infested with stink bugs. Someone came to the room with bug spray but instead climbed on the bed to kill it and did not offer to change the bedding. After I asked the bedding be changed he took the cover off and brought me a fresh cover. Later on the stink bugs came back out. He said they were not infested just that the guest prior to our stay must have left the windows open to let them in. I didn’t even bother to see what breakfast was like.

No elevator. Had bed bugs. Weird smell in tue lobby.

Hola si busca cercania al parque six flags es ideal. Es un hotel de pasada. Si busca lujos no es el adecuado. Pero para lo que yo necesitaba fue perfecto. No es moderno pero es limpio y tranquilo. El personal muy profesional y educado. Si necesitas ayuda te la brindan. El desayuno no tenia variedad pero al menos el cafe y la leche no faltó. Si vas a estar varios dias pues lleve su champu y cremas. Pues aqui solo te brindan un pomito super chico de champú. Son detallles q se pueden resolver rápidamente. El aire acondicionado funciona muy bien asi que pueden descansar sin problemas. Lo recomiendo. Gracias.

We love it. We stay to go to six flags and have stayed 5+ times so far and every stay has been perfect. Rooms are clean and staff is nice.

Although it isn't a major hotel chain it was very nice. We didn't get the chance to have breakfast because we overslept. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. You feel safe. The only drawback is the room we were in most of the outlets didn't work. There was trouble connecting to the wifi which isn't secure so I was wary of that. But overall i give it a 4 out of 5.

I completely realize that hotels want to save as much electricity as possible but, on extremely hot days, it would be nice if they would go into a projected hotel room and turn up the air conditioning slightly. When we arrived yesterday, late in the evening, our room was very, very hot and the air conditioning worked, it took a good hour to an hour and a half to get it down to a tolerable temperature. That made it difficult for us to go to sleep until late. I know that is a money issue, but it would be a great service to their guests. Also, the breakfast consisted of two types of cereal only. Not much of a breakfast, but it was appreciated, anyway. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well after I fell asleep.

Light fixtures were hanging out of the ceiling. Property was old. Very thin walls, people yelling at 4am in the morning. Staff was very nice. Ok for a quick stop over.

I chose Rodeway Inn because it was inexpensive, but also seemed like it would be safe, clean and appropriately "nice" for the cost. It did not live up to that expectation in all ways. First of all, the facility itself is not as well kept as the pictures indicate. It's not dilapidated; but it is showing a lack of attention throughout. Our students entered a hallway of rooms where they had to immediately contend with the smell of marijuana. One group were given keys to a room that was already occupied. The workers at the desk were moderately kind and helpful. *Breakfast: The hotel promotes a free continental breakfast. Again, pictures show a fairly nice setup. In reality, there were two types of cereal, two types of juice and coffee. They sometimes had milk. Extremely disappointing - especially since the breakfast was one of the things for which I was specifically looking when booking lodging. We had to go elsewhere and purchase breakfast for the two mornings we were there. On the positive side: The rooms were appropriately clean and comfortable. Everything in them worked properly. If the hotel were to address even some of the issues above, I think they would be fine. We were not expecting luxury in this price range; but we WERE expecting better than we found. In its current state, I will definitely avoid returning to this Rodeway Inn.

Stayed 2 nights with my teenage son and his friends. The walk to Six Flags is no longer than from the parking lot, which was super convenient. This place is not new, so don’t expect much. I was impressed that the beds were made and fresh towels brought on the second day. Not many hotels do that anymore. A solid option if you are not too particular.

Stayed here for two nights for 6 flags. Had 2 beds very uncomfortable. Room was nice. Friendly staff. Half ways and front smelled aweful! Room was fine tho. If your needing a place to stay I would say this would be a okay place as long as your not looking for a big nice area.

Beds were very small. It’s hard for 2 people to sleep. The continental breakfast was a joke. It was 2 types of cereal that is all…. Very weird and kinda creepy. Maybe as a last resort. Should have looked at reviews more in depth.

In reality, there were two types of cereal, two types of juice and coffee. They sometimes had milk. Extremely disappointing - especially since the breakfast was one of the things for which I was specifically looking when booking lodging. We had to go elsewhere and purchase breakfast for the two mornings we were there. On the positive side: The rooms were appropriately clean and comfortable. Everything in them worked properly. If the hotel were to address even some of the issues above, I think they would be fine. We were not expecting luxury in this price range; but we WERE expecting better than we found. In its current state, I will definitely avoid returning to this Rodeway Inn.

Our stay was pleasant and the accomodations were satisfactory. The hotel's definition of "breakfast" is very basic. All that was offered was 2 types of cereals, milk / juice and coffee. There is no elevator for those staying on the 2nd floor. When we asked if there was an elevator, the person at the front desk smugly stated, "It's only 2 flights of stairs". The distance from Six Flags at Georgia was a pleasant surprise. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

Easy check in process. It’s super close to Six Flags so we didn’t have to drive far when we left the park. The staff was friendly.

The front desk was very helpful very professional and absolutely just wonderful. They made my stay there one of the best I’ve had.

The front desk charged me a$35 deposit and refused to refund at checkout and said no one gets back deposit. When I checked in the clerk assured me that I would get my cash deposit. What a racket they got going on there

The staff was friendly. Place was pretty decent. I must have missed the part where they posted NO STAIRS. Breakfast consisted of your choice of 2 different cereal and juice. I walked to Six Flags from the hotel, I would not recommend doing that after dark. (Was just me)

This is the perfect hotel for a six flags trip. Walking distance to the park (actually closer to the main gate than it is to walk from the six flags parking lot). Very clean room, cereal for breakfast and great coffee.

When we arrive it was latw and the receptionist got us checked in and up to our rooms. Thwre down side is there is no elevators so you have to tote all your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Rhey said they have breakfast, but it's 2 kinds of cereals with juice and coffee.

Great stay. They shouldn’t advertise “breakfast”. Offered only Frosted Flakes and Fruity Pebbles….which both were probably generic.

The property was well maintained and our room was comfortable. Biggest complaint….the complimentary breakfast was cereal, coffee and juice. Please add to the breakfast.
