I love this hotel and everything inside was lovely and clean. We were a bit disappointed by the state of the pool. There were no towels available and when we asked for some, we were told it would be 30 minutes before any would be available. There were cups and menus in the pool and hot tub, and the pool had a lot of debris and needed to be vacuumed. However, the young lady taking care of the pool bar did an excellent job. The food and drink service was great, and she was very attentive to guests. We did go back to the pool area in the evening, and the cups had been removed from the hot tub and pool.

The spa area was so crowded, I couldn't get even to my locker. The sauna only fit 4 people at best and it is always busy. We purchased an expensive massage which was mediocre at best. The property is beautiful but overall it not worth the price.

Best part of our trip to Georgia! Elegant facilities and the staff was so professional. Sipping delicious wines on the winery grounds was so surreal and tranquil. The pool/hot tub grotto was perfect. Definitely coming back!

In the weeks before check in, I made 3 calls to the property to ask if the outdoor hot tub was open. I was told to tell them upon check-in that we would be using the hot tub, which I did. That evening as we were getting in the hot tub we found that it was not hot but very cold. Very disappointing as I had checked multiple times because this was an important amenity that we wanted for our girls weekend.

I would expect more facilities, things to do from a resort. Also didn’t expect to get charged for 3 days resort fees for. 2 night stay!? And this place is in the middle of nowhere, not in a metropol.. why do they charge for parking??? I relocated here from NY and am quite used to paying for parking in the city, but just not in a small town in GA!

The exterior property was well maintained; however, the bedroom pillows were filthy and the room furniture was dusty and there was debris on the bathroom floor and bedroom area. It was not worth the money it cost for the room. I expected superior and quality experience, especially since this was a first for me.

Very classy getaway. Hubby and I really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was smooth. Our room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The service and food at their Versailles restaurant was Five Star. The pool was very nice and the water has the perfect temperature.

No water glasses in the room. Had to ask twice.Broken lamp.Had to contact the front desk twice. Black mold in the shower around sosp dish. No shsmpoo or conditioner on last day Had to use body wash. All this for $400 a night.

Stayed at Chateau Elan for a business conference, absolutely fantastic. The rooms were so nice, so spacious, great amenities. The conference area was also fantastic. But i have to say, the highlight was the food!! Bothvour evening dinner at the Cask Room and our buffet lunch were delicious, extensive options all delicious! Sadly it was a short stay so i didnt visit the spa, but it also looked so nice!! Cant waitcto visit again!!!

We had a nice overnight stay at Chateau Elan. Our room was clean and we liked having a view of the pool, but one complaint was that the beds were too hard and the pillows were very lumpy. We did enjoy our time at the pool during the day, but the overall cost seemed very pricey for what we got for food/drinks. I was also surprised that we had to pay for self parking given the price of the room. However, it was a nice, short getaway for one night for a girls trip.

This was the first time I’d been back to Chateau Elan in several years. I was very disappointed. I wanted to book a spa appointment for me and my daughter, and they had nothing available until after our checkout time on Sunday. You also could not stream on their televisions. You had to pay $22.99 to access a limited number of movies they selected. I complained but only received a call from the spa to offer separate spa appointments for me and my daughter that were unreasonable. Also, when guests or housekeeping near our room open/closed doors, it caused our room door to rattle loud enough to wake us up multiple times during our stay. The best part of our stay was our visit to Sarazen’s restaurant. Our waitress, Victoria, was amazing! She went above and beyond to assist us in making our meal and wine selections and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. She and the manager were very helpful and friendly. The other good part was the shuttle driver—an African American man from NJ. He took us to Sarazens and back to the resort and waited at the winery so my daughter and I could see the fireworks without getting off the shuttle. We are grateful for the extra care and kindness these individuals showed to us. I am also an iprefer member. Receiving a room upgrade is based on availability, but we had a room w/no view and again, a rattling door. It’s just not what one would expect at a resort at this price point, and no real effort was made to resolve issues.

I was all hyped up with this hotel and when I got there, I was disappointed. Virginia at the front desk was wonderful and went above / beyond to be welcoming. The room was very average, no have robes were provided. You could not utilize the spa unless you did a service. We had dinner at the Marc restaurant, where our waiter was rude. Food was overpriced and very average! I would not go back there and I wouldn’t recommend.

I didn’t get exceptional service it was below average! For the cost I was expecting better, you’re paying for aesthetics in my opinion . Upon check in , didn’t receive complimentary champagne or get any info about property like WiFi code, amenities the hours etc. When I inquired they told me to check website..We were suppose to get escorted to our room nobody came to assist. Room had no robes, I had to call and ask. There no microwave in rooms, so you have to inconveniently go to lobby’s cafe & warm it up & they close at 6.. Housekeeping came late during the evening finally & barely cleaned. I had to verbally ask to fix the bed if I didn’t she wouldn’t have. I also found hair on “clean” towels. I don’t typically write reviews but I hope this review helps someone else. I don’t think I’d pay to stay here again

We were celebrating our anniversary and it was the WORST experience EVER. We were told the shuttle runs by the golf course every 10 minutes and we waited or over an hour. Dinner at Versailles was a disaster. Took 3 attempts to make a martini (the manager ended up doing it) and the food took over an hours so we got up and left. Got back to the room at 3pm and room wasn't clean. Asked the maid to clean it and went to the pool for 2 hours. Came back and still wasn't clean, so didn't have time to get ready for our wine tasting and dinner reservation, so we checked out a night early and were denied a refund even though our experience was horrendous. STEER CLEAR!!

The concierge Bruce was amazing. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. My husband and I spent our anniversary here for the second year in a row and we will continue to visit on special occasions. Our dinner at the Marc was delicious and the staff was so amazing!

The food, room, location, experience, and views were great. The problem was with our final night. The room next to ours threw a party. Loud music and loud people at 11:15 pm. We called the front desk two times for help. The people left, then returned around 1 am. Proceeded to crank up the music again and talking and arguing loudly. We called again and security came up. Apologized to them and asked them to turn it down. As soon as security left they once again started up the music and loud talking. We called once again and security came to ask them to turn it off. Around 1:45am they finally stopped carrying on and it was quiet. We received no apology from staff or the desk when we checked out. It's unfortunate that one bad night put a damper on our anniversary weekend. Other than the horrible night, the rest of the experience was great.

I stayed here while doing the Skip Barber Racing School at Road Atlanta, which is less than 15 minutes away. Super convenient, and after a hard day of racing, it is so nice to be able to relax at a resort like this.

This property was above and beyond what I expected. It was very safe around there and we came in to visit our family member and it’s right off the freeway. The staff was so phenomenal, but one of the drivers took us on a tour of the property and the little bit of time that we had to spare. It was just exceptional.

The Chateau Elan is a hidden gem located in Braselton, an hour outside of Atlanta. The resort is so elegant and the decor is classy yet inviting. The fireplaces (burning during the summer) gives the area a cozy and relaxing enviroment. This was great for a girls weekend getaway to relax and rejuvinate. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by a great staff and the service throughout the stay does not disappoint. The spa facility and services were impeccable! They make you feel so comfortable, and the champagne is a plus. Another great feature is the wine tasting and the different restaurant they have on property. This was one of the many highlights while there. I cannot wait to return...so if you are looking for a place to stay I highly recommend The Chateau Elan!

First time guest from Charlotte, Chateau Elan met all expectations for service and cleanliness. The grounds were immaculate it felt as if we were thousands of miles from Charlotte/Atlanta. Will definitely visit again.

The property is beautiful and serene. The dining options are very pricey other than Sarazen whose food was good and reasonably priced. The shuttle to the various places was very very helpful and the driver was very nice. The loud music at the pool stayed on till past closing time and started before opening time and since my room was near the pool it was unpleasant. However, once I reached the front desk and informed them of this nuisance they immediately asked maintenance to turn it off which was helpful.

This place was very nice! It was spotless. Fireplaces everywhere. The restaurant was very expensive so be aware. Breakfast cost us $93 dollars, it was $39.99 each without drinks. We also had to wait 10 minutes for the cook to finish talking to the waitress before he would cook our omelet! We ask twice! That was crazy! You would think that in a high end restaurant that the cook would be waiting on you! They need to address that with him. It was on a Saturday morning too! Other than that it was a pleasant experience!

Booked hotel thru hotel.com; was unaware of an additional "resort Fee" until arrival; final bill came, and there was an additional "self parking fee" added. Would have been nice to have known all this on the front end. Also, we felt food and drink was severely over priced. Presentation and taste were good, but $85 for a steak was a little much.

Will never go back. No restaurant onsite, even the steak house, could cook a medium-rare steak. Walls were thin enough i had to listen to my neighbor's blast music until midnight. Then to top it off the COUPLE message was booked for one. We booked one couple massage and were told when we arrive that it was only booked for one person. The guy says he's had this issue alot. Then change it! Had to pay a a cancelation charge. I will never go back and will warn everyone to spend their money somewhere else.

The food was great. We did 2 tastings. One was the Sommelier Tastings. Matise was wonderful. His wine knowledge and paring with cheese really taught us about the wines. If you do nothing else you must do that tasting. We also did a self guided tasting and fortunately we had the wisdom from our tasting with Matise to help guide us . We order charcuterie and set off on our own …. it was fun. We ate in Marc’s and it was great…. the fried green tomatoes were perfect. We ate twice in the beautiful atrium restaurant and both times delicious. We did a quick mixology class at the bourbon bar and ordered flat bread….. it was ok…. it didn’t call me back. Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Front desk staff always helpful and shuttle service was excellent. Now I will say , this was a mini vacation as we usually go to europe but weren’t able to so we figured we try some wine tasting in our country. I’m not a fan of domestic wines so I was thrilled and so wonderfully surprised at Chateau Elan. It was lovely!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a one night getaway for our 11th wedding anniversary and everything was wonderful. The staff from check in to check oit were very warm and inviting. The food was delicious at every place we dined and the wine was exceptional. I'd love to go back and stay longer.
