The curb appeal is lacking. Grass was uncut and the weeds were bad. The furnishings are dated and well worn. The cleanliness was fair. A large live roach was found in the bathroom the morning we were checking out. The pool was not in service. Breakfast was very limited. The front desk staff were friendly.

Worst RedRoof ever stayed at. Not clean. Outdated mismatch furniture Walking to our room when noticed several dead insects in the other rooms window. Door jam room entrance hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Tv no stations had clear pictures (tv needs to be replaced). Needed ice and no signs indicating where Ice machine were located. Call front desk to ask no answer from front desk We travel this route a lot and always stay at the Red Roof in Calhoun Ga but when I booked the reservation I entered Dalton’s instead of Calhoun. WE LOVE RED ROLF IN CALHOUN it’s well worth the extra 19 miles

The property is in desperate need of an update. The upstairs ice machine had cob webs and dust 1/2" thick.... hasnt worked in a long time. Dead bolt didnt work, toilet tank leaked and left a puddle in the bathroom, towels were badly stained as well as the linen. 1 travel size bottle of shampoo/conditioner duo, 1 hand soap bar. Pool still had a cover on it, with vegetation growing on it.. Many large wood roaches outside between the hotel and the waffle house. Lastly, inside the office smelled strongly of marijuana, which I dont condemn it, just shouldnt be done at work. Staff was very nice, but thats the only positive i have. I would not stay here again if it was free.. i have been to worse, but not by much.

We walked in their was a musty smell, the chair to sit in was dirty. We wondered about the rest. Then while watching Tv a Hugh roach crawled up the wall. Didn’t look at microwave or refrigerator. The gentlemen at the front desk were kind and helpful.

I had a business trip I needed to be at close to the hotel. I read the reviews and saw they were mostly good so I went ahead and booked. The reviews are correct. Though the building is older the staff are very nice and they do they very best to provide a clean room. The carpet has been removed and replaced with faux wood flooring which is a bonus for me due to my allergy to dust mites. I will book again the next time I am in that area.

Let me start by saying the only reason we didn’t walk out after seeing the condition of the room is because of the amazing young man that greeted us! I believe his name is Dante’. He is the only bright spot in that place. The mattress pad had a huge stain on it, the sheets had what appeared to be dried blood and some other dark stain on them. The ceiling was cracked, the bolts on the back of the toilet were disgusting and filthy…dirt, dead insects and hair. The bedside chair looked like a coal miner had sat in every night for month! The arms were black and the cushion was filthy! The beds were hard as a rock and it felt like sleeping on plywood with sheets on it. We checked out at 4:30 am because it was just so uncomfortable that we couldn’t sleep. Dante’ was exceptionally friendly, swapped our room when we realized the first one was on the 2nd floor and gave us several extra towels. He was fantastic and deserves a raise! I do not recommend this place at all, but Dante’ deserves a raise!!

The stay was not worth the ultra inflated $150 (after tax $154) we paid because it was spring break weekend along I-75 and had no other options. I wouldnt spend more than $60/night for this place. For a $60 hotel, its what you would expect, but a massive ripoff for any more. I will never stay here again, but I happen to prefer a decent hotel. My pillow was quite lumpy, but the other persons was fine. The wall sconce was hanging and the bathroom door doesnt close when youre sitting on the toilet. When I was younger this stuff wouldnt bother me, but is a deal breaker anymore. If this stuff doesnt matter to you, it does the trick I guess. It was clean enough, just not worth the exorbitant price gouging.

Short summary: If you want a clean place to lay your head (and don't mind firm mattresses and pillows) and plan on getting breakfast somewhere else, this place is fine. I typically don't leave negative reviews anywhere, but I feel like people should have an accurate picture of what this particular Red Roof Inn is like. I've stayed in quite a few Red Roof Inns over the years. A lot of them have been updated and are pretty nice. This one is not one of those. Old mattress, old pillows, outdated. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing run down about my room. It was clean. I had great water pressure in the shower. Just old, firm mattresses and pillows. The biggest letdown, though, was the breakfast. **Ignore the picture of the breakfast area.** There is no cereal. The waffle maker is only available on Saturday and Sunday. The juice machine was out of order. A couple yogurts, meh hotel coffee, and cheap prepackaged pastries was it. I was just frustrated by my stay because I've been so pleased with other Red Roof Inns and this one left a lot to be desired. I had planned on eating breakfast there, along with my three kids, but we ended up having granola bars and bottles of water in the car anyway because of how the breakfast was.

The room smelled musty ok you get what you pay for I know no biggie there. I check in at 4 drop a bag and left 5 minutes in there come back tv doest and see the hair on towel. I ask to change rooms nothing available so refund my stay won’t do a full refund I said I was in room 5 minutes then clerk says she can’t check me out only manager can Really? So then call her manager says no full refund so now I’m going to dispute everything totally rude manager unacceptable service and I had witnesses to the conversation over clerks phone who agreed . SMH Stay away

This was an unplanned stop when we were on our to tennessee so we didn't planned it but we choose good because it was a great stay. The place was tidy,clean, and welcoming! The bed was comfortable and clean so is the bathroom the staff was friendly the cleaning staff and front desk too overall we will stay again!.

The room was clean, so that was good. The air thing below the window was at 71 degrees cool, worked perfectly and consider the weather at the time, that helped a lot. However, getting into my room turned out to be a pain. The card was accepted, but I couldn't open the door the first few times, it turned out the trick was to pull the handle upwards. Some other guest saw me struggling and said these things were a pain. The light switch next to the door did not have a cover, and while that wasn't a problem for me per se, that could be dangerous, especially if someone was traveling with a child. Breakfast was mediocre
