My family needed a stop along our 16 hours drive and chose this hotel for the price. Very nice front desk ladies. Wish their pool was indoors for the kids to swim but that’s on me for not looking (pool wasn’t opened yet). We actually were there when bad weather approached and the front desk lady was very calm and comforting to all and especially my family and I. We took the kids under the stairway and she brought out pillow and blankets for us. Overall, it was a good stay and a good hotel for a night if needed.

Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and breakfast each morning was very good. Coffee and tea available all day. Pool was clean even though we didn’t use it. Would definitely stay again!

this seemed to be pretty well maintained property. the staff were friendly and attentive. the beds were so comfortable. I would love to have those pillows at home. Breakfast was particularly well executed. They had a little of everything to offer for any breakfast lover. The pool was open and I enjoyed that in the afternoon. Overall it was a good stay.

Beds were clean and comfortable, outdoor pool was very clean with nice outdoor furniture. Only issue with our room was the tv screen was partially not working so couldn’t see the whole picture and the bathtub drained VERY slowly leaving me standing in ankle deep water. Also the ground floor level (G) had an unpleasant smell but our floor (3) smelled fine. Breakfast was good, just wish they would have filled the eggs back up. They were all but gone at 8 and breakfast doesn’t end until 9. Overall a decent stay. I’d give 3 1/2 out of 5 :)

Nice little dog area outside by the pool. Restaurants right down the road. A lot less congested of an area than the other hotels across I 24. Nice size rooms with a sofa and walk in shower.

Our stay was arranged through American Airlines Travel Agency. We have stayed in many, many hotels and this was by far the WORST I’ve ever walked in my life. Every part of the hotel we were in had a very funky smell. Our room was not clean. Both the outside and inside of the bathroom door had holes in them. The grout in the bathroom was black, flacking around the toilet and tub. It showed signed of water damage on the ceiling or worse. We booked a 3 night stay and got in late the first night. We only slept in the bed that night then immediately next morning checked out requesting a refund of the next two nights stay plus the deposit. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen despite the check out staff saying they would have accommodate. If they do, I will share a revised review. Obviously we had to then find a suitable rates, fees, etc. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE HOTEL.

The entry was great along with the staff, but the room felt dirty with spots all over the walls. The trash on property was overflowing. The laundry room was out of order. It was close to Wal-Mart and a ton of restaurants was the only pro.

Unfortunately, I only was here all of about 20-30 minutes. Long enough to check in, go to my room, and start unpacking. Shortly after being there my daughter spotted a dead roach flipped over on its back :-(. My daughters and I had to find another hotel for the night.

We stayed here a few years ago when it was a LaQuinta. My wife remembers it being not so clean and out dated. Hotel now is nice. Updated, clean, well lit. Only problem we had was the beds. We should have investigated them before we left, but they felt like some sort of hybrid airmattress/waterbed/horse stable straw combination. No support at the edges, (you'd fall out), sort of crunchy, you could feel every move your partner made, and it was so soft that it puffed up and down as you tried to get situated. Very uncomfortable sleep. The next morning there was an 10 hour car ride in store for us - starting that out after not sleeping well was agonizing. On the plus side, my 11 year old son said he liked it because he felt like he slept on a boat. (Ha idk, kids!)

Wi-fi wouldn’t work in the room. I walked onto the lobby balcony & asked person at desk if there was a problem with the wi-fi & he said no. He asked if I could get it there in the lobby & said yes but when I go in the room I lose it. He said well at least you can get it there & just turned away. So such a bummer on no wi-fi in room & how person at the front desk handled it.

So check in was good, everybody was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious. There were two things that will eliminate this hotel from my future business. The first and foremost thing is that the bed was absolutely horrible. It was like sleeping on a wet sponge, way too soft, no support whatsoever. Secondly the breakfast was very mediocre. On a couple of occasions items would run out and would not be replenished. The eggs showed up in a plastic bag that was microwaved and then dumped into a heated serving dish. I don’t even really know if they were real eggs. I had stayed at the best Western in Knoxville, which was a fabulous hotel in every way. This hotel was nowhere near the quality of that. This is an OK hotel but I will not stay there again. One of their biggest problems from a business perspective is that they are surrounded by other beautiful hotels. I travel to Dalton, Georgia for business often, and I will look to one of the other hotels in the future.

The hotel was clean & quiet. The staff was super friendly & knowledgeable. For me, the best part of my stay was the bed & pillows. They were extremely comfortable! I didn't want to leave it. I had an excellent night of rest. I would definitely stay there again.

Needed a good nights sleep after long drive and this seemed to have good rating. Unfortunately the Hvac system is 40 years old and sounds like you have a jet plane taking off, the noise was deafening. They offered us another room but that too was very noisy and their solution was to offer us headphones. We turned hvac system off and decided to sleep in a very cold room. There was a spotlight outside shining right in our room so it was like daylight. In the end we got up around 4 and left the place. Not a cheap stay and we urge to avoid if you want a good nights sleep

The toilet wouldn't flush. The room phone also didn't work. Made multiple calls to front desk and placed on hold multiple times and then call was terminated. Called 1-800 number and had to hold for 40 minutes. Informed them of problem, they then took location of hotel, room number, placed me on hold for an additional 5 to 10 minutes only to come back and tell me they could only help with WiFi issues and this after I had already told them what my problem was. Finally went to front desk myself and was told they couldn't repair the problem. They moved us to another room.

First ,when i got there. The front desk associate was sleeping on the couch. I woke her up and she came over to assist me but she couldn't find my reservation. So, after 20 minutes of me going back and forth with the company that i made the reservation though and he talked to her. I finally got my room. When i got up to the room the door was open and all the lights were on. There was still trash in one of the trash cans. But i was to tired to complain and was just great full i got a room.

Everything was excellent other than no bathroom towels no room phone and called to get towels said I needed to come down didn’t have no one to bring them to the room.

No one at desk when I entered. Waited while seeing the adjoining breakfast area packed with teenagers and some adults who were throwing a small football across the room. Much more like a high school cafeteria sight than Best Western lobby. Called out to the desk clerk who was in office behind the desk. Registered for the room. I asked about the group and was told they were “just hanging out” there. I said I thought it was inappropriate—finally I told one of the adults with the group that I did not appreciate the football throwing, etc. They were all part of a softball tournament. I think this hotel needs more staff presence visible at all times. The night previous to my stay at Best Western - Dalton I’d been in another hotel also hosting a number of baseball players and families. They had a private room for them to gather and very visible staff presence to keep things from impacting other guests. Best Western Dalton has been my stop for many years when they were LaQuinta. This time they disappointed me.

There was an issue between the hotel and Expedia on payment of taxes and the room key machine wasn’t working so we eventually had to be let into our room by the clerk with her master key. The typicall five-minute check-in took 45 mins.

Friendly staff, very clean, and they had a good breakfast. We had been staying at hotels that were just okay. Spent an extra $20 and was surprised at the difference. Quiet area and it had a nice pool which felt good after driving for 3 days.

The hotel was in a good location. Near the interstate and restaurants. Unfortunately, it was too close to the interstate and, in our the 3rd floor room, traffic noise was heard all night. Also, the building was slightly swaying from the interstate traffic - very unsettling.

So check in was good, everybody was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious. There were two things that will eliminate this hotel from my future business. The first and foremost thing is that the bed was absolutely horrible. It was like sleeping on a wet sponge, way too soft, no support whatsoever. Secondly the breakfast was very mediocre. On a couple of occasions items would run out and would not be replenished. The eggs showed up in a plastic bag that was microwaved and then dumped into a heated serving dish. I don’t even really know if they were real eggs. I had stayed at the best Western in Knoxville, which was a fabulous hotel in every way. This hotel was nowhere near the quality of that. This is an OK hotel but I will not stay there again. One of their biggest problems from a business perspective is that they are surrounded by other beautiful hotels. I travel to Dalton, Georgia for business often, and I will look to one of the other hotels in the future.

Traveling and at 8:30 when to get some breakfast and eggs and sausage Pattie’s was out, can back 15 minutes later nothing so it was near 9 so I figured once they ran out that was it. Very disappointing

The hotel and room were newly renovated. Everything was clean and fresh. Very nice hot breakfast, with lots of choices to accommodate all the guests. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a very nice hotel, from the time we checked in to checking out, everything was easy. The room was excellent, the breakfast was above and beyond! I wish more hotels were of this same caliper! Please keep doing everything your doing, keep up the good work!

Beds were clean and comfortable, outdoor pool was very clean with nice outdoor furniture. Only issue with our room was the tv screen was partially not working so couldn’t see the whole picture and the bathtub drained VERY slowly leaving me standing in ankle deep water. Also the ground floor level (G) had an unpleasant smell but our floor (3) smelled fine. Breakfast was good, just wish they would have filled the eggs back up. They were all but gone at 8 and breakfast doesn’t end until 9. Overall a decent stay. I’d give 3 1/2 out of 5 :)

Everything seemed to be fine except for the cover sheet on the bed. It smelt like body odor in one place and didn't care too much for just cleaning every 2 to 3 days. Maybe that's why the body odor was on the cover sheet on the bed other than that, everything was fine.
