I was very disappointed by my stay-to the point that we checked out a night early & found a different hotel for our second night in town. We reserved the hotel for my son's birthday. The lady the checked us in was friendly enough, but did not mention that the pool & hot tub were not open(one of the biggest reasons we chose this hotel). Even after I said something about the pool & hot tub, she did not mention it. My kids were very disappointed when we went to go down there after dinner. Then, as we were getting ready for bed, we started noticing yellow stains on the bedding. We checked out the next morning. Overall, pretty disappointed with how our stay went.

The property is is older and in need of updating. I was upset that the pool and hot tub were not available. Not only that, but not mentioned by the desk staff or mentioned on the website either. This is the second time this has happened, really just need to call all properties before going I guess. Honesty, upfront would be nice.

Hotel desk clerk was great but thats where it ended. The doors didnt open with key card to get into hotel. The halls were freezing. The hot tub was not working there sauna was not working. The pool area was dirty cold and had aunts. There were no pool towels. The bathroom in pool area was colder then outside. Breakfast was a half hour wait for them to fill anything. No butter no syrup most of the juices were out. when u asked the day shift guy for something seemed like u were asking for the moon he was very rude. Dont let the pictures fool you those were takin when it was first built. The property is run down and looks nothing like the pictures. Also no one will deliver to the hotel as its to far out they say.

The staff was very quick to help when we needed new sheets and trash bags. The cleaning lady stopped by multiple times asking if we needed anything. The pool was a relaxing temperature. Breakfast was ready and hot at 5 am. My only two complaints were about the ice hold hot tub and lack of gym equipment. Some of it didn’t work or didn’t work well. Apart from those which went much of an issue our stay was pleasant and we will definitely chose this hotel for our next visit.

This is an old hotel with a few modern updates. Our room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. I booked the hotel for a family overnight trip and wanted the pool, hot tub, and sauna to have some relaxation time. The pool and hot tub were great, but the sauna was not working (and the floor was dirty but I heard a parent say that some kids were messing around in there earlier, so it could have been that instead of the hotel staff’s oversight). The pool deck needs resurfacing as there are loose stones and divots. They were out of towels, but it was 9-10 pm when we were there, so we asked at the front desk and they happily gave us some pool towels. The breakfast was hot and fully stocked and the lady working there was very gracious and cheerful. Overall, it was satisfactory to what we expected for being an older hotel and the service was excellent.

The owner was kind and courteous and I think he takes pride in this hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and quiet. Our stay was much more Pleasant than we have experienced in a very long time in a budget hotel.

I will attempt to be kind…. This is not a very good hotel. We had a 4 night stay planned. We only stayed one night; and then moved to a different hotel. To be fair, the room was pretty clean. But the smoke detector was was missing, a lamp shade was broken, the AC didn’t work great. And inside the hotel was just bad. The hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months. Trash laying around both inside and out. It just seems like a really junky place to stay. We moved to another hotel in similar price range that was MUCH better! We were pleased with other hotel, so we are not just bitter about this hotel

Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk messed up the 5 room reservations, which were to be paid individually. She gave each guessed the wrong amount to reimburse me since she charged all the rooms to my card. Everyone Venmo me money, but upon looking at my credit card receipt, she had charged approximately $20 more per room than she stated at the desk. One of the five rooms, had soiled, unwashed sheets that looked like someone had vomited in the bed. We went down to complain to the the person at the front desk, and they simply ask us if we wanted a fresh set of sheets. Did not offer a new room. On our way home from vacation, I reached out to the hotel via the Expedia app for which the rooms were booked. I have yet to hear anything back from. I was requesting a refund for the one particular room with these soiled sheets. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

We checked in and checked out within 20 minutes. The room was dirty (stained bedding, toilet, tub) the building had broken exterior glass on the doors, and tape on the door push bars, ripped window screens, air coming in the window at 32 degrees, and it smelled dirty. I did not feel safe so we left.

You can hear the people next to you easily. I stayed at this hotel bc i went to vidit des Moines for my 21st bday, it was fine until the last day. When we were sleeping at 11:45PM all i could hear were the damn kids next door screaming.

At check-in, we were double booked for the same room with another couple who arrived at the same time. The front desk corrected this, but we had booked a King bed and got two doubles instead. Not happy, but too tired to argue. Also - no tissues and the beds were rock hard so we didn't sleep well. We won't use that hotel again. Sorry.

The lobby gives you the feeling of a quality inn however as you get further into the rooms it's poorly renovated. No cover plates on outlets. See where there was damage. The renovations were just a coverup.

Most was ok EXCEPT the beds. I go there to sleep. Both beds in room were hard as boards, and lumpy. My back was so sore the next morning. They were kind enough to give me room with door to outside to potty my dog, but the door lock was busted. Finally got it open, then couldn’t get it shut. My understanding is service dogs should not be charges- guy at desk would not give. I understand deposit to confirm no damage, but ultimately no extra charge. For the price I paid would have paid more to sleep comfortably. But, your there, gonna get billed anyway, what choice do you have?

It was ok. Very dated and ghetto. My room door didn’t shut correctly. Couldn’t open windows. The beds and pillows were terrible! I think the floor would have been better. The pool was ok. No towels though. Breakfast was ok, Better than some. The restaurant or steakhouse was good!

The hotel desk associate was really nice and talkative. She helped me check in and answered my questions and was really helpful and the maids were friendly, as well. Unfortunately, the room we were in, the AC was broke and flooded the floor. But the hotel desk associate found us another room. I did want to swim in the hot tub, but the water heater was out. But that wasn't the staff's fault.

I called ahead to make sure pool ans hot tub was running. They said yes. Upon arrival niether were working and staff was rude. Then the breakfast attendent was incredibly rude to my daughter. I asked to speak to manager and they told me no. I refuse to ever stay here again.

The room was passably clean. Front desk was unmanned checking in & checking out. Manager was visibly irratated when we went to find help. Very bare minimum breakfast. Parking lot was not taken care of. Tv didnt work well.

Got a room for a friend but when they showed up they wanted $150 deposit for incidentals. I had called earlier to check on incidental charge cause they did not have a credit card and only had minimal cash on hand, was told the deposit was $25. They did not have $150 in cash so they could not get the room that I had already paid for and it was non refundable

My husband stayed and overall his pleased with his satisfactory. He told me the person at the check-in desk barely spoke English and there was a child behind the counter with him. His biggest complaint was that there was no breakfast available until after 7:00am on Saturday morning. He had to check out before then since he had a 4-H training to be at by 7:00am.
