Very good hotel with a nice pool and hot tub, friendly staff, and a good breakfast in the morning. Pool and hot tub hours are very family friendly.

Room was great Fitness room needs attention 1. AC does not work. Set on 60 but real temperature was more like 80 2. TV would not turn on in fitness room. Maybe just battery needed for remote

I took the trouble to call the facility asking about the hot tub. They lied. Doesn't look like they have any plans to fix it. This hotel was confused about service animal laws. I will not return.

The woman who checked us in was very nice and gave us lots of information. The pool was supposed to be open until midnight but was closed early due to improper chemical balance. Very disappointed after a long, hot day.

I liked how close it was to restaurants. Didn't like the spa was closed and it didn't say anything about it on-line. Breakfast was lacking in choices. Not much for presentation either. We'll stay down the highway next time for a better rate and a hot tub.

There was no early check in even though rooms weren’t full. The “fitness center” had two pieces of equipment a treadmill and an elliptical and only the elliptical worked. No one answers the phone.

We have stayed here three times and every time we stay the pool and hot tub do not work. Should definitely update the amenities as they are never available.

Hot tub was out of order, had to swipe my key card to get into room multiple times, a few plugins in room didn't work.

After check in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub were closed and had been since the day before. Had we known we weren’t going to be able to swim, we would not have booked here as that was a main reason for staying. It was an incredibly disappointing experience.

The front door was broken. The hot tub never works. They shouldnt advertise it. Breakfast was minimal at best. Items were not ordered on the truck for breakfast.

In a slightly older part of town, closer to 20E, BUT 5 minutes from every amenity possible and I’ve never had such a well-run, immaculate hotel for this price. Beds super comfortable, not a thing out of place and cushy towels. Breakfast was substantial (eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, waffles, etc)

I did not eat breakfast. Air conditioning worked great. However, I don’t think my room was ever fully cleaned when I got there as there was a McDonald’s cup in between the wall & the bed I slept in & crumbs on the floor. I told the people working the service desk & they couldn’t be bothered. There was also nail clippings on the floor in the lobby.

The hotel was pretty clean. Breakfast was ok, the tables were dirty and the food was running low and I didnt see staff come to check the food. We came around 830, so there was another 1.5 hrs for breakfast to be done. The extra blanket we got was still damp. I ran to Walmart to get extra blankets.

We only stayed for one night, but the hotel was nice and clean. The lady at the front desk was friendly. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We were able to grab a quick bite to eat from the breakfast early the next morning. Best hotel waffles we’ve ever had.

Rm 121 could hear back door open and close. Not a soft closure. Breakfast area was not clean, refilled unless asked, apple juice in orange juice, water in apple juice. Tables were not cleaned. Coffee grounds in the coffee. Hot tub not in working order.

We didn’t utilize the pool or free breakfast during our stay. The facility was very nice and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were clean. Would stay here again.

From front desk to housekeeping to room, everybody was so kind and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable. I hate to leave.

It's ok. If your looking for a quiet hotel away from the majority of town, this was a nice spot. Everything seemed clean. The shower head had a leak that dripped all the time. Breakfast wasnt great, but was better than nothing. It is on the outskirts of town so it was pretty quiet. There was not a lot of guests which was nice. The room we had was a little smaller than some of the other hotels, but it wasnt bad. Overall it was decent if you just need a place to stay for the night. Staff was nice and checking in was easy.

This hotel was clean, convenient and near our destination, but is showing it's age.

We had so many issues, such as the A/C was not able to keep up. The room was 81° when we went to sleep & that was with a fan in there too. The TVs didn't work in the room either. There was no soap stocked in the room. I mentioned all of this to the front desk at check ouy & the clerk acted like there was nothing wrong with all I listed. Used to be a nice hotel, so it's sad to see it so downhill. Definitely not worth the money

Curtains let in too much sunlight

The hot tub didn’t work and the bed was so hard! The room had a very odd smell, like it was a smoking room once maybe. Overall it was fine and the breakfast was pretty good.

This is the 2nd time I\'ve stayed at this property. The 1st experience was nothing like this one. Upon arrival, the woman working the front desk was less than friendly. When entering our room, there was paper cups on the floor as though it had not been cleaned from a previous guest. That night we decided to swim & there were other guests in the pool yelling about fighting. There were no towels in the pool area, the front desk was kind enough to give me 2 towels for the pool but apparently had previously refused the other guests towels as that was the reason they were yelling about fighting. Breakfast was decent. Check out was ok, however 2 days later I got a charge for the hotel stay. When I called the hotel & spoke with the manager, the manager screamed at me & said she never swiped my card or charged me. She kept yelling about an Amex card, I explained to her that I have l dont have an amex card & that I paid through expedia, which raised her anger because she was upset that I booked through a 3rd party. I again tried to inquire why my "incidental" card was charged for the stay, she got very aggressive & said my card is nowhere in her system. She continued to talk over me & refused to let me get a word out. I tried to suggest maybe my card got tied to another room somehow & she said "you dont get it, we dont have your card on file, what dont you understand". WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. From start to finish- horrible customer service.

Very friendly and helpful staff

The hotel itself is older but is well kept. Breakfast was fine. Loved the pool area. Check in was smooth with the front desk lady But unfortunately there were interactions with front desk staff (different staff) that were extremely poor. They have negative attitudes and come across extremely rude. They should really keep in mind it is 10% what you say and 90% how you say it. My children were present for many of these interactions and it was unappreciated.

Staff was wonderful - friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Like the entire hotel, the pool and hot tub were clean, welcoming, and well-appointed. I will seek out Americinns for future travel!

Don't reserve a room here. They do not allow cancelation even during a weather emergency. I was stuck in another town due to major flash flooding. They were very rude about me trying to cancel and refused to give me a refund. My house and car are a total loss and they just said that sucks but we don't refund cancelations and hung up on me.

The staff here were absolutely amazing! They made the stay so great! The beds were comfy and there were good restaurants around (such as GAGA & HOO and casa blanca). Would stay here again if in the area!

Nick was very accommodating with our special requests. Very quiet, clean and very comfortable beds. Great place to take your fur babies :)

Staff was not available at check in and took 15 for us to wait for the next shift staff to help us. Key cards didn’t work and when we reported it to the staff they said that happens. Took us three times to get a working keycard just to enter our room. Breakfast items ran out. Bathroom had cracked tiles and toilet was not functioning properly. Spent a lot of money and seriously didn’t get anything in return

Nice place, had issue with blow dryer and tv remote let them know and issues were rectified promptly!!!

This property is so easily accessible to the major highways. Also there is food available close by.

Nothing the staff can do, Fort Dodge has a dirth of restaurants, other than fast food.

Location was primary reason for choosing this motel. Room was clean and quiet. Good selection for breakfast.

Area was great place would go there again breakfast was good also. Nice and friendly.

Super easy Check in and out process. Everything was clean and since it’s a little out of the way it was amazingly quiet. No elevator all night, people slamming doors or anything. Restful night just what we needed.

It was excellent for our needs. Right off the highway we were traveling. Excellent continental breakfast. Several hot items. Room was clean, nicely furnished. It had microwave and a fridge. Very comfortable.

All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and the breakfast options were plentiful, tasty and available both early and late during the breakfast hours. The entire property was clean and well maintained. We have stayed at this property before this visit and will again for our next visit.

Very bad breakfast. I have stayed at other AmericInns and they had good breakfasts and also had cold water always available in the lobby.

Only 1 muffin out on breakfast tray I didn’t see any fruit
