Nice, clean room and facility. Good breakfat and friendly staff.

The staff members were nice, the rooms could use a little upkeep as well as cleaning up the parking lot outside. It is right next to a fire station so there were sirens very frequently throughout the night.

I feel should get refund. We went for the pool. called them. Said was open. Arrived. They said cleanjng it. And it never opened

First off, the pool was being remodeled. Would’ve loved to have known that before booking. Turned on the AC the first night and it smelled like weed. Absolutely disgusting. The staff tried to unhook our door latch an hour before (10 am) check out. We were still sleeping/getting ready after our previous long night. If I hadn’t said anything, they would’ve walked in on us! They claimed that they didn’t hear anyone in the room, yet they didn’t think to knock or call us to check. Will NOT be staying here again.

Very thin walls, could hear everything in the room above me. Was going to use the pool but there was a weird film on the top of the water.

It was very average - not modern, pool was closed, breakfast very limited. Staff was nice and helpful, room was clean but a bit musty. Staff tries hard but it's difficult to keep lipstick on a hog

Was very updated and clean which was important to us. The parking lot and outside of building could use updating but that didn’t hurt the inside. Was very pleasant stay.

Overall, great for the price! Our king suite was a great size and bed was super clean and comfortable. Bathroom had a few unfinished cabinets from the recent renovation, but shower head was wonderful and everything was clean! There was a large whirlpool tub, too, but can’t speak to its quality as we didn’t use it. Biggest complaints are that though we were on the very end of the hallway, we could hear talking/people walking throughout our stay and our bathroom in a non-smoking room smelled strongly like cigarette smoke one morning.

We checked into our room no problem, but it is advertised as renovated…it is but done very crappy. It started to rain early morning(about 5 am) and they have windows that are one piece of glass…you cannot open them. The rain was pouring through the top of the window.We put towels down 1st and soaked all 4 bath towels in seconds. I then grabbed the ice bucket. I filled 4 ice buckets full of water before giving up. The carpet was soaked, the air conditioner was soaked, the one bed had water splashed all over it. We were on the 2nd floor(so a floor above us) and water started coming through the center of the room. Went down to the front desk and they were mopping up the lounge area. It was soaked. They were very gracious about moving us to another room…but no offer of any type of compensation for the inconvenience. Got into the 2nd room which was on the back of the building on the 3rd (top) floor and no leaks, however the air conditioner got water condensation all over the floor. I put two towels under it but it went through those towels and all over the carpet. We would have checked out of the motel, but we were there because we were attending two funerals of family members. Also want to mention that we Saw that they ended up renting out our original room again (tried to rent it out to our son 1st..he refused because the smell of mold and mildew was so bad. He didn’t even walk over to the window area). Also, the continental breakfast is a disappointment.

I was out in a room that clearly had some kind of water issue, as a dehumidifier was in the room running. It didn’t smell bad, but there was obviously a mold issue. I have asthma & am allergic to mold. They moved me to a mold free room, but my symptoms never truly went away so it was not a pleasant stay. I was there for 7 days and I asked for housekeeping after the third night and they told me it would be done. It was not, so I asked again after the fourth night, STILL not done. After the fifth night I returned to the hotel at 3:30 pm to my room partially cleaned with the door left completely open with nobody anywhere near my room. The ladies at the front desk were nice and did their best to be accommodating, but clearly there wasn’t a lot they could do on either issue. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

The room was freezing cold. We turned on the heater and it took 1 1/2 hour to warm up the room. The shower was not clean

Hotel is newly remodeled. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms have plenty of space. Staff is very nice. But it was a turnoff to find dirty comforter and sheets upon check-in. Also, both rooms had significant leaking around windows. They just need a little extra care for details and their location would be top rated jn Mason city i think.

Showers are walk in with glass & no curtain makes all the difference! Comfortable beds !

yes and the front desk lady was Amazing both at check in and check out. very helpful, breakfast was great as well! room was clean, nice size, and perfect size Jacuzzi tub! would definitely stay again.

The property is newly renovated, clean, and safe. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful! Our son forgot his toothbrush and the front desk provided one free of charge. That was very nice.

I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. The rooms were nice and bed comfy. It's up there with the Hiltons. The only thing lacking about the breakfast was fruit (bananas). Otherwise, they had eggs, waffles, cereal, coffee, and yogurt. Nice stay!
