La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Caldwell

It was a little noisy…. the freeway is close by and a few cars/trucks were reving up their engines as they exited to the freeway.

It was a great stay.

Clean room, breakfast was good with enough options. Great for an overnight stay to get some rest on our road trip!

Our room looked great in the photos, but close up it was a different story. The room was not very clean. There was dog or cat hair all over the carpet. It had a kitchen, but there was only enough silverware for one person, no bowls at all, and no dish soap or dishwasher soap to clean anything. The light above the sink was missing, but the screws and everything was still there letting you know that there was supposed to be something in that place. The heater was very difficult to understand how to operate and the room would stay very warm even when the temperature on the machine showed it was set to 68. The bed was pretty comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The curtains are cut around the window AC unit, so you can see into the room from outside at the edges. The hotel itself was underwhelming. It is an old building and it shows. The breakfast was pretty good and there were plenty staff was nice, but the hotel itself needs some work.

We just spent two nights at La Quinta and were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and the price was great. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut but the shower was great and i appreciated having the option of having a bath chair available if needed. We have stayed here before and will stay again the next time we are in Caldwell.
