Super convenient location: 15min walk to the River run gondola / lift area, 10min walk to the main strip with dining and shopping. The free city shuttle also stops right at the corner in front of the lodge. No elevator though, so keep in mind if you have mobility concerns. The facilities were well maintained. Not the best sound proofing but it was mostly quiet in the building and not much traffic outside. Good heating, strong water pressure in the shower. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread offered good options - both healthy and indulgent.

Older building with lots of sound transfer. People above us just walking around was loud enough to wake me up. Only thing I didn’t like. The breakfast was great. The location is unbeatable. Bus stop right outside comes every 15 mins and takes you right to bald mountain. The pool was perfectly warm.

We have purposely booked this hotel for the pool however it was closed leaving our kids very disappointed. The pictures from the website we think were misleading as well as our room appeared very dated. The hallways made creeking noises as we walked them too. We really appreciate the staff accomidating us, they were stellar, but the hotel didn't meet what we were looking for and again, all that we could have overlooked had the pool been working for our kids.

We had several heavy suitcases and this hotel has no elevators and our room was on the second floor. We wouldn’t stay here again due to the lack of an elevator. Their free breakfast is exceptional though!

It was very nice and clean. It is an older property so it doesn't have an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. The clerk at the front desk did ask us to let him know if we needed help with our luggage. It was just awkward getting luggage up and down. The parking was great. The room was extremely clean. The breakfast was very nice with real plates and silverware. Would recommend!!

Overall, this is a great hotel! It was on a quiet street, very close to the ski resort, and less than 1/2 mile to downtown. The front desk staff was so friendly and easy to communicate with. The continental breakfast was fantastic. It had everything from pastries and breads, to a yogurt and fruit bar, to waffles, to hot items like eggs and bacon. The pool was super warm and clean, and the game room was such a fun addition for rainy days. The cleaning staff was also top notch. They cleaned the bedside tables everyday, and I saw them cleaning the inside of the mini-fridges (which feels rare for a lot of places). The only negative at all is that the hotel is older, and the doors don't fit perfectly into the frames, so noise from the hallway can be heard pretty clearly.

I thought that being walking distance to the ski mountain that the hotel would be nicer. The lobby was actually very beautiful but the rooms are dark and dreary. There was a nice spot to sit outside with Adirondack chairs, but they were covered in bird crap. The pool had a lot of stuff floating in it. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, although the very nice man at the desk offered to carry my bags up. My bed sheet had a big hole in it which had to have been noticed by whoever made the bed. I did ask for a new one and they brought it right away. Also I was happy to have daily housekeeping service, which most hotels don’t bother with anymore. So the staff was good but the facilities not so much. I wouldn’t stay here again.

There is a great deal of deferred maintenance. The hotel looks great from the outside but the inside needs to addressed. It has the look and feel of a low budget motel. The hallways and the room we rented smelled of mildew and urine. Very unpleasant especially for over $300.00 a night off season.

This hotel was lovely. It sits near the base of the ski resorts and has incredible views on the west side, I'd recommend getting a room on the west side. There were fresh baked cookies at the check in desk. I had a king room, it had a feather duvet and pillows, the bed was incredible comfortable and the room was spotless.

I made reservations with the lodge when I received my confirmation it was for the wrong date. I called and tried to change the date to the following day, the lodge refused to change the reservation. It was a mater of a few hours from the time the reservation was made and my call to try and change the date. I was really disappointed with the customer service. I wasn't asking for a refund or to cancel the reservation, I just wanted to change it by 24 hours. I really don't think that was too much to ask.

You get a Nice view of the mountains, but the lady in the afternoon at the front desk is grumpy and not very personable. Wish the property was ADA accessible so please plan accordingly because there are no elevators or luggage carts to use.

Best Western Tyrolean went above & beyond to make our guest experience as ideal as possible. They old us many insider’s tips on ski vacation logistics of parking at Bald Mountain (across & right down the street!), where best to rent skis, etc. Would highly recommend also on walkable proximity to downtown Ketchum. They have a great multi-choice hot/cold breakfast, as well as great touches fresh-baked cookies all day. Such friendly, helpful staff, would stay again any time!

I didn't make the trip. More than 48 hours before my scheduled arrival I call the lodge to cancel due to a family crisis/illness. Reservation was binding and no refund allowed. Also alerted Expedia where I'd made the original reservation - No refund allowed. Now I'm getting this survey about my stay and a message from the Lodge for online check out. Is anyone listening?

Older Best Western. But clean and evidence of continuing upgrade. Our first night was a bit hectic, as our door wouldn't lock when we were leaving for dinner reservations. This was a Sunday night. Bert came up and tried to fix. And couldn't. Called maintenance. Couldn't reach. Took initiative and put us in different room. A bit of a pain to change rooms, but OK. Old room door fixed next day, and moved back to it. This Best Western has the best breakfast of any I have been to in recent years. Good big room. Lots of selections. Fresh everything. Great workout room. Good place for kids. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Highly recommend the staff. And response to any issues.

This is a more upscale hotel comparing to your regular Best Western, though it isn’t a Hyatt. The room was fine and clean. Not super new, but alright. The staff was simply amazing and very helpful with problems that one of our group members had. Big shoutout to them! Breakfast was great as well. It was a continental breakfast, but a great version of it. It is a 5 min walk to the downtown.

Overall it was a pleasant stay for overnight. Very comfortable bed and clean sheets, fluffy pillows. Room for improvement in these areas: TV issues, could not get local channels, only an issue because the Olympics were on. Waffle maker in dining room and coffee machine in lobby we're both out of service. Staff was understanding and kind, but it was our of their control to render these issues. No so bad that I will not return, just hope my stay in the future is a better experience.
